This my first grow. I watered the soil on the first day, then after 3 days i watered again with almost 250 ml , the pots are 6.5 L . Should i water the plants until water comes out under the pot ? And then water again when the top is 1 inch dry ? Thanks and good grows. 😀

250 ml should be enough for at leat 5-7 days. I do it like this with lil seedlings. i give tem every day a small amount and soe foliar feeding that means 20 ml water and some spraying with water and aloe( before Light turn off) correct waterregime is for me one of the hardest thing to learn indoors. I messed up my first indoor totally with overwatering To train your skills you can go with the Potlifting or pot weighing method. That means.... fill a similar pot with ry soil and try to remind that weigh ( of put it on a scale).....here you have your refeernce weigh if your pots with the plants and the water reach the weigh of the dry,,, you can water again Its good you took plasticpots, because here you get a good drinage. Smartpots are better for the Plant, but they keep the humidity and water very good inside ... bad if you overwater Iam sure you get used to your wateringregime, by using this technic. I know some more , if you are interested.

Hi. Its now the 3 week, and i think they are not growing to much in height, did i have done something wrong with the light height since the beginning? Or its just normal for Auto flower, on 3 week a minimum of 5.5 cm its ok? Lack of water in the soil? Thanks

On the plant size, they are not small for autos though thats just from the pics. Veg growth will pause in deference to root expansion at a couple of points along the way. Once done a spurt shows up. You are doing fine on the training, three weeks is about the time to do this if not earlier. All IMHO as always 😇

Everything is OK. They appear to be very healthy. Some with more strength than others to grow. Looking forward to seeing how they will be in 1 week. 4 strips of LEDs with 48 watts ( 40cm) each will arrive in an order to include in the grow. Should I include them as soon as they arrive or just in bloom? also with veg and bloom and full spectrum options Sorry for the photos with the light on. I just had time now to take the photo. The plant nº2 is growing a lot :) Watering on: Day 1 21/03 - 600 ml Day 4 24/03 - 200 - 250 ml Day 8 28/03 - 100 ml per plant plus spraying water Day 10 30/03 - 250 - 300 ml per plant To much water? The top soil was starting to dry a lot, I'm making the control based on that, and not giving to much water each time Plants Size Day 8 Vs 11 1 - 4 cm vs 4 cm 2 - 5 cm vs 5.5 cm 3 - 3 cm vs 3.5 4 - 2 cm vs 3 cm 5 - 3 cm vs 3 cm Give your suggestions guys, what would you do? Already include new led lamps on the start of week 3 ? Fertilize on the end of week 3 ? Good grows everyone 😀💪

Hi @jacare111 the power of the lamp is always a factor to take into account. In the vegetative phase of growth they do not need the light so close, and the higher the light, the more your plants will stretch the search for the light source to place at 50cm -120cm depending on the lamp power is more than good at this stage. in the flowering phase, place the led as close as possible to the buds 30cm-40cm always with a pointed bud and be careful not to burn the buds, to check if the led is close to the level of burning or not to put the hand stretched even by on top of the bud with the palm down for 1-2 minutes, if it starts to burn or you feel your hand too hot the same will happen to bud, it is the best way to check. good luck mate 👍🙏

Hi growers. I was reading some stuff about LED, about the light color. So i have veg and bloom switches, should i keep both on when growing autoflower? Or keep veg until start of bloom and then work only with bloom light ou even both lights on bloom? Thanks for all the help

It depends on the age of your plant Seedlings actually need very little light. The veg light is fine for the first couple of weeks. I switch my plants to full lighting so they have access to the full spectrum available throughout the grow at the end of week 2. While red lighting is especially important for bloom, it is still utilized during vegetative growth as well. After the seedlings are growing for a few weeks turn both the lights on and keep them both on for most of the grow. The first few weeks of flowering your plant will stretch and put on some massive vegetative growth before throwing pistils. The veg light switch is essential for this growth. I keep full lights on until harvest after the first two weeks.

Some updates of the plants. Some of them seem to be growing fine, others seem to be to slow, but still with good look to me, they are autos, and they are suppose not to grow so much right? Today day 17, i watered all the plants with 300ml of water with RQS organic nutrients, in this case the grow booster, and i will keep watering like that until boom, of course will go up to 600ml, but i think until now, the plants dont show any problems related to water. Then on bloom will start with the Bloom tablets also from RQS. I started doing some LST on the plant number 2 , the most big until now, so see how she reacts. Size: 1 - 6.5 cm 2 - 9 cm 3 - 5.5 cm 4 - 5 cm 5 - 6.5 cm Will update this week with more photos, about the LST and the grow in general. Please some comments are appreciated, thanks a lot to everyone for all the support until now. Good grows 😀 Some updates guys, im now on day 19, i finished now some LST. I added photos to explain better. Its the first time i do this, some leaves are touching the soil because of the plants are too short. i adjusted the LED to maximum High i can my tent to see if they pull up a bit, but i think they will grow more in height on the next weeks. So, plant number 1, 2 and 5 with Low stress training. Im still trying to get used to this, but im understanding now. I need so get some better cable to apply LST. Plant number 3 i will let it grow normal without any trainings Plant number 4, i have by accident broken 1 leave as you see on the picture, and i tougth, fuck now i will top it a little , so plant number 4 will be my lab rat plant, LOL I watered today ( day 19) with more organic nutrients. they are starting to drink more. Will see if i keep water in 3 in 3 day, or 2 in 2 days. I hope this gets up weel. But my problem its actually the leaves contacting with the soil. I will try to update in 2 days with new photos. ahhhh, and i added some chillis to the grow 😀 a starter kit i found on amazon

Your definitely not to early to LST ! One thing is for sure you need to be gentle but you can apply a little bit more of a bend to her! These plants are very resilient and you don’t have much to lose only gain from LST! Good luck 🍀 i

It’s a stink bug! They have other names too! I do not believe they will hurt your pants at all but who wants bugs crawling around the house lol! These bugs are very common to come in homes during spring time and fall as they seek the warm controlled climate! Maybe get some organic spray and spray all the entry points to the room you keep your plants! Good luck 👍🍀

Hi guys. Already on week 4. In general they seem quite good, and adapting very good to the LST. But i think i did LST wrong, because i bended a lot, and some leaves are touching the soil, but, lets see the transition to week 5 if the plant will stretch a little after. Only curious about plant number 4, the one i wrecked 1 leave by accident and the one i topped , after seeing the plant recovering really good, now she is showing some strange leafs and some brown/yellow leaf on top. What this means? To much fertilizer? the others don't show me signs of that, and i watered the same quantities on each plant. Plant number 4 is now with 13 cm , the others i have done LST , so i dont know exactly on mcuh, but i will assume something around 15/17 cm. tomorrow, day 25, i will start with full spectrum on my LED. Lets see how they develop until week 5. BTW, im really loving growing, i always liked to see a plant growing, but seeing a plant that i like a lot, its amazing, i found more than a grow for smoke, i found my hobby and my home to share it. Give your comments guys. Happy growing, happy Easter Update 14/04/2020 20:45 After contacting the guys from royal Queen seeds about plant number 4 issues. They told me that the plant is suffering from the TMV tobacco mosaic Virus. I have already removed the plant from the grow room and now its on the outdoor. I hope the other plants don't catch that virus but let's see on the next weeks. Quite sad this moment. I feel really sad. New update 14/04/2020 23:05 Found a strange thing on some leafs of the other plants don't now what is that New update 15/04/2020 23:30 New pics from day 26 on plant life Today i watered with the same mix, easy grow booster plus a a little amount of Bio nova. Next watering will be a mix of Easy Bloom and Bio nova. Today i also adjusted my lst, i not giving to much attention to it. I started the first really LOw LST on plant 3. Small adjustments on 1 and 2. On plant 5, i found a branch drying, probably it was because of the metals i use to lst, have slowly cut up the branch, the main branch 😑 But suffer and learn, that's the way, i cut up the rest of the branch and lived the plant with some adjust on other branches. Plant number 4 still outdoor because of the TMV, lets see on the next day how she develops, i dont get top much sun on my balcony. Next update will be week 5, early stage of bloomm?? lets see 😀

Hi guys, some surprises this week. We are now on transition to Flowering period, i have already seen some pre flowers, really smalll. Everything is doing really great , just one plant is with some signals of high fertilization, but nothing critic, its the most small of them. I m watering the plant almost every day, yesterday ( 19/04) i watered with 500ml of water mixed with Bio nova autoflower supermix, and RQS bloom tablets, like 1/8 of tablet per liter. They are drinking a lot now. I will keep every day watering with around 350 - 500 ml per plant, i will vary that according to the plant size and the conditions of the soil. In terms of heat, its doing ok, i added now one more ventilation inside the tent to keep more air moving around the plants. This week, i have also done more LST trainings, really small adjustments, i will do more LST when i start to see big flowers. My plant on the balcony suffered a lot because of my cats ahaha, she is now inside on a window , is recovering but slow growing, she stretched because of lack of light. Today i also decided to switch my main LED 600 W to only red light, only bloom, i was on full spectrum but i will keep for some days on red to give more height to the plant , i also improved the light distance to 70 cm, before was 60 cm. Now the height is around 15 - 20 cm, i want to improve a little the most small ones. Next week, flowering week 😜 I have one doubt , should i defoliate some fan leaves? or that procedure is only on advanced bloom phase ? And should i Keep the Full spectrum, Veg and Bloom LED on, Blue and red. ?

IMO I would not. If you feel you have to remove bigger ones from the bottom that aren't getting beneficial light that's ok, or that cover bud sites. If you take too many leaves autos dont have time to recover before they switch over. So the more leaves the better. Hope this helps

OutForRealanswered grow question 5 years ago
Yes you can do it , your promix for auto is not a super soil so it could be running out of nutrients before the end of the run so if you add some Rqs booster you can supply the plants needs until the ends of flowering , if you are using the bloom of veg tabs it’s the same. They are all slow released nutrients so with your soil mix you have a nice combo Édit : GHE Bio nova is a nutrient line that is mixing organic and minerals nutrients in the same bottle. Some soil are pre enriched with organic stuffs and people are using mineral feeding with it. Molasses are organic and bed used in conjunction with mineral nutrients. So they can mix together but can be hazardous.

Hello guys, almost in the end of week 6 - DAY 40 29/04/2020 Some of the plants shown really good improvement with nice stretch. Plant number 4 the one that i spotted TMV i think it was fake diagnostic, she seems fine, and on my window and balcony she doest catch to much sun so , she was back in grow tent on this week 6, and she started really fast to flower. Maximum height is 40 cm plant 2, and got her main cola lose few weeks ago because of an accident. but she recovered sending all the power the rest branches. they seem to be adapting fine to the 600W LED, i setted my LED on week 6 50 cm away from the highest plant. and now she its like 25 cm away, and with no signs of burning. i will let the LED on that position if everything stays OK. Plant number 3 still the one most small of all. And still not showing to much of the flowering, i think this one its a little bit late. But the end i think is promising. Lets see on the next Week how they are developing. My tent is becoming really tiny :D and i like that. But next time with this tent will grow maximum of 3 plants and bigger pots. Thanks for all the help given. Comments please guys. And sorry for bad pics :/

So guys. What a big changes this week. the plant number 3 is now with an incredible 45 cm, almost so big as my first plant going on flower that is now with 50 cm. I was right i think the number 3, that was always the smallest one, is now showing her power :D I think im close to harvest. another week i guess, im not experient on this, and my photos are not to precise. but i think the trichomes are pretty good, just will wait to see if the hairs go back inside and then i will harvest :D I added some RQS BOOST ORGANIQ NUTRITION at the end of week 8, just a little in the top soil, because leafs were showing signal of leak of nitrogen to soon, and also potassium, and this BOOST was all i got beside Autoflower supermix. I promise on the next grow will take more care about the nutrition. also added some egg shell in the soil. Lets see, if next update we will have an harvest :D

Hi mate, underwater and overwater are bit tricky. One thing is sure, from overwatering you can get root rot. So when I am not sure I let the medium dry out completely for a couple of days and then I start again. Within those couple of days if the plant seems more droopy and not healthy I know its underwatering, if it starts looking healthy while medium dries out, then I know I overwatered since there was not enough oxygen in the roots. If overwater is your case, I would suggest when you start watering use a light phed mix of water with h2o2 to supplement the roots with a bit oxygen.

Hey guys. For this week i upload some videos 1 video per plant. I am not giving any more the bio nova autoflower supermix, i m thinking on let them going only with water until the end, but lets see. Plant 5 is close to harvest i think on the end of this week. Plant 1 and 4 are doing good on flowering. Plant 2 is slowly flowering Plant 3 is still in middle of the transition to flowering, is going very slow. I think she probably is blocked because of the size of the pot and light . When i harvest plant 5 the others will have more space, and i can bend some branches to increase the bud quality. The big question is, when harvest? its the first time im doing this and i am afraid of doing that wrong. Hope the videos can help someone to help me :D I have also made a video of plant 5 on a more close look, not to much quality but for now its what i can get , sorry 28/05 day 69 small trichome update of plant 3,4 and 5. Plant 1 and 2 still on pre flowering analysing the trichomes, i would say, Plant 3 and 4 need almost 2 more weeks Plant 5 - probably only 1 week more, so up to almost week 12 plant 1 and 2 - will take much time as fotoperiodic LOL

Hey guys. Still not ready for harvest. I would say a week from now or a little less, i will harvest the top buds and let the small buds to develop a little more together with plant 2 and 3, because they are still really late, taking much time has photodependent plants. But no worries, the only worry i have is where to put the buds to dry, probably will try on my garage, i have to check the humidity and temp down there, and to build a closet tu put them, because i have spiders and probably other buds . Someone aleady dried on a garage, btw i have no electric power there, will be only a closet where i put the buds in to dry, with two holes for air circulation and the rest really isolated to prevent bugs, the holes i will use some net to block the passage. Guys please leave comments , with ideas, always help. Thanks, and good grows.

If you're just drying a couple of plants you can use an old cardboard box with holes and strings. Can be placed in a garage or cupboard, will smell a bit though. Not massively. But the best option is an empty grow tent with carbon filter and oscilating fan running. 👍🌱

On the last days of the plant, i mean, close to harvest. How you guys water your plants? Same system only when the top is dry? or you guys let it dry more, or water more than per example 7 Liter of soil = 0.7 L of water ? And its normal that sugar leafs fade de color?

I like to give a heavy flood of water once I see Amber appear or at least all cloudy trichomes and then just water like normal, and try to let it dry out for 3 or 4 days until chop. Darkness is not vitally necessary but could perhaps have some benefits. 🌱👍

Hi guys Im spotting some problems this week. Or at least i think there are problems. First not the problems, LOL. Plant 1, 4 and 5 i think i will harvest in 2 week +/- , also depending on the time i have. But i will give them 1.5/2 more week until i harvest. See if some amber trichs appear The problem here are: 1st - Plants 2 and 3, seem to be blocked, Plant 2 got some signals of nutrient burn, but that i think is solved im only watering with water now. Plant 2 also seems to be re- veging , she is growing new leaves and branches on the lower canopy. But she is also slowly slowly flowering compared to the other 3 plants almost on harvest. Plant 3, this one i dont understand, leaves are green , she started flowering like 3/4 weeks ago but very very slowly, and i dont find any signals of problems related to watering or nutrient burn, the leaves are good lets say that. I removed the plant from the pot to look the roots, and actually for me they look good, ok they probably need 10L pot, but transplant now, i think to late. 2nd - The holes on my pots, where the out comes out, got some white thing , i dont now if that is mold. But its strange, and almost all the holes and the pots got that. 3rd - The water that is coming out still got that brow/ argila color, and im watering only with water. Questions Problem 1 - Are plant 2 and 3 blocked because roots are blocked? Should i cut the lower and small branches and let only the top canopy ? Problem 2 - Is that actually mold? or something related to the intake fan? someone experienced that? Problem 3 - Is that a normal color for the water? could be because of the organic nutrients from RQS that are slowly being released ? Any other comments will be appreciated Thanks, and good grows for everyone

Hoping to see the effects of the biobizz products already. 25/06 day 98 I have right now sended 3 plants to 36 hours of darkness. So on day 100 I will harvest finally some weed. Let's see how many wet grams we got. That will be an information for week 14 update.

Hi guys This week update will be the last one of flowering. Because 3 of the 5 are almost finishing the 36 hours dark before harvest. So next update will be the harvest of 3 plants. The 2 still late on flowering I will add on an extra diary to finish them, they are recovering slowly. One curious thing on plant number 2, as you guys will see on pictures, I topped accidentally, let's say just to see whar happens like 3 ago if I'm not wrong and I found out on the main cola 2 small tops 😅 it's funny I have to put on dark the 3 plants for harvest on a carton box. The same where they will dry, but i will put the box on my garage because this days are hot and with the tent working I got easy 27 degrees inside the room 🔥🔥. This led kind of makes to hot, when this grow is finished I will sell it to buy a Marshydro, or another one that not heats so much and have better light quality. Tomorrow 27/6 I will harvest and add the harvest week with the Wet Weight. Thanks all.

This was my first grow ever. I decided to pick an easy and fast autoflower , and Quick One from RQS was my choice for this first try. On my tent 60x60 on the beginning i got the idea of putting 8 to 9 plants, but im glad for not doing that. 5 was already to much, because if you want to LST you will have a lot of trouble moving them around and trying to find to correct place for all of them for catching light. This 5 seeds i started, the 5 germinated at almost the same time, and they started very well on Light Mix Soil, inside of 7L pots, with almost 6.5/6.8 L of soil. I was watching different genetics inside of the same strain, some more small than the others and sometimes the smallest got a big boost, and the big buds size than the others. Only 3 of the 5 have arrived to the harvest at the same time, and now i will tell you guys what i have done wrong. First of all, the pot size, 10 L should be my Pot. Second, the light, 600W but a to week light that on Amazon on a rush for buying some light, but now i found better deals with Marshydro or Spiderfarmer, that will be my next option. Third, the correct pH, i got a pH meter, but i dont now if he is working good, it seems to be, but i always use tap water to water my plants, i only filter the water with this normal filters from home. Will be something to fix on next grow also, a correct pHed water. The last thing i think i failed, was on the nutrients, i started late with the Biobizz nuts, and they are really good, im recovering the last 2 of 5 that are still on flower to give them a boost, and already on the first days i saw one of them that was really really late on flower only with some pistils, showing a lot of pistils on the next days, and i think i will have a better harvets on this 2 than on the 3 i already harvested. So, today, 27/6 day 100, plant 1, 4 and 5 were harvested and set up to dry for 10 days , i will be checking after 10 days how they are. As you guys will see on the pics, the wet weight Plant 1 - 188g Plant 4 - 142g Plant 5 - 184g Total of this 3 plants : 514g wet weight Expectation dry weight: 514 * 20% = 102 grams what will be pretty good, but talking on an average of 25gr per plant, 75 grams should be the result. For this first grow i have learned a lot, of course with the help from Growers that i met here. Special thanks to @Mrs_Larimar and @Master_weeda. Update. They dry on the garage inside the carton box. But they where feeling too wet. And i found a bit od mould starting to appear on a top of a big bud. So i cutted away that bud and set for dry on the tent. I got to put the other plants outside until dry. They are drying fast because its 26 °C and 55% RH I checked today and the buds seems dry outside. I trimmed more 2 plants and then i figure out that they where starting to become wet again. Will levar for some more days on the like in the picture. On top of cartons hanged with wires. Will check every 12 hours to see the development Update: In jars for curing now I will check the humidity and open the jar every 24 hours. Now after 1 hour in the jar its around 53%, the problem is temperature, the colder i can get inside my home is 24ºC on the bathroom. Total yield of 73 grams from this 3 plants first harvested. Now the 2 plants left can come back in tent, but i will just let them a little more on the balcony, i flushed them today because of some past nutrients problem. When fully dry i will water normally with water in the first days, and then begin with the feeding cycle, with the Biobizz products. For a first grow ever its not bad, i could have more, YES. But i fucked up the feeding during the flowering time, was only most with water, and a small amount of RQS organic grains that i added to the top. I fucked also the dry, because i dont have a good environment to dry, temp or to low or to high, same with humidity. I lost would say 5 grams because of some mold starting, when i got the weed to dry on the garage, after 5 days i found mold. We learn with errors. Next grow, will try to bring a better light, nutrient cycles, and of course good sticky buds :D I will come back with the taste e effects after 1/2 weeks

Still slowly developing. Plant 2 is better than 3. Plant 3 is late on flower. Probably she will end her days on my balcony if i harvest the others i have first. I will on the next week remove some dead leafs on both plants Giving nutrients only 3 in 3 days. The others days when i water i only give her tap water.

Still giving nutrients to the plants. Plant 2 is starting to show some purple on the branches probably a calmag deficiency. I think the cal mag def is affecting this 2 plants since the beginning. I dont want to invest on a calmag product now, im really low on budget. Will let them grow. I changed to red light this week just to see the effects, it seems it increased the thrichomes production but i still like more the full spectrum, so i will be back on it, this new week. I think i will let them grow together with some solo cup, but i will only start the solocup when i buy the calmag product just in case 🙄
