D 78. D50F. Res change. Conditions stable. Humidity lowered to 45% RH. Very beautiful and frosty buds so far.
D 79. D51F. Conditions stable. Ph good. Buds are gaining mass. Some tops will need to be supported. Starting to lean over a little
D 80. D52F. Conditions stable, ph stable. Buds are starting to fill in nicely. She going strong. About 3 weeks or so to go.
I'll post some trich pics later in the week, this microscope takes amazing clear and up close pics.
D 81. D53F. Conditions stable. Ph adjusted. Very pungent, almost has a sweet citrus smell. Almost like fruit loops. Very dense looking buds.
For not ever growing before and starting with dwc, I think she looks pretty good so far.
Theres a couple things I'll do different the next grow, and I'm thinking of trying some new nutrients. I have an outdoor grow using REMO nutrients. So that will be my test to see how they react to that brand. I use AN 3 part for indoors. I don't understand why you would be using the grow part of it if it's in flower. And you use bloom during veg. I guess we'll see how harvest goes.
D 82. D54F. Conditions stable. Ph good. Super frosty buds, they are fattening up nicely now. Super dense
D 83. D55F. Conditions stable. Res topped off. 3 weeks roughly to go. Looks very happy in her environment. I can hardly wait to see the final results.
More pics to come.
D 84. D56F. Conditions stable, ph good. Topped off res. Looking very good.
@Smokeys_Garden, Oh for sure.. Silica is the number 1 thing that most nutrients do not have for Hydro growers.. Notice how I don't really feed Silica? I think I add it about 3 or 4 times.. Be careful with what you add something I would never tell you around the store is almost always never use what any nutrient company recommends on the bottle. 1/2 what they recommend and for things like Silica supplements you have to use very sparingly.. The added structure may be give way anyway under high mass conditions so if you support from the get go. The need for silica is marginal. The end goal is healthy clean smoke.... Chemicals doesn't mean harsh or bad, considerations need to be made is all.
@DeadwebsiteBoringcommunity, I'm trying to get away from AN. I over bought so I am trying to get rid of what I have left. I've tried Remo on my outdoor grow, they seem to be loving it. I've started to incorporate that brand into my indoor grow. The structural stability was due to lack of sufficient amounts of silica. This round they seem a lot more stable.
@Smokeys_Garden, I'd love to see you using less Advanced Nutrients that's for sure.. Structural Stability.... Is a problem even for experienced growers :). Mitigation through plant support seems to be the best course of action.
@Garreweedlover, thanks. Explosive growth in hydro. Plant doubled if not tripled in height. Ya they look like dense buds already. Thanks for checking out my diary.
