Harvested on day 71 (this plant started 5 days behind the other two). I would have let it go another week but the other two plants were ready to chop. I'll probably get a separate drying tent set up in the future to avoid this problem. 4 Assed Monkey was easy to grow and the buds filled in a lot during the final two weeks. Smells like pine and citronella, limonene, kind of skunky. Final dry bud weight was 104g / 3.7 oz
No problems with this tent. Wish it came with 1 or 2 more top hanging poles. Three autoflowers in 3 gallon pots worked out fine for this size of tent but was a little tight, going to run 2 plants next time.

Your lst is looking great. I would normally recommend removing a few leaves but I see that your plant is having a little issue right now so I would focus on correcting that before doing any defoliation. The yellowing in between the veins is a sign of magnesium deficiency but I see you are feeding calmag so I suspect you are getting a lockout from overwatering. I would make sure you have adequate drainage and let the pots dry out pretty well in between waterings. This will allow your roots to get more oxygen and let them absorb nutrients more efficiently. Once you get this fixed then you can start removing some leaves to let the plant get better light. Good luck!
These autos have grown a lot recently (on day 35 today) and are getting pretty bushy. Will this bushiness cause airflow/mold problems? I have a small oscillating fan blowing above the plants part of the day
Should I defoliate anything at this point? Leave it alone?
Hi @Lavos They are very dense. You can defoliate one or another leaf from the main branch that is covering or shading the shoots. Defoliation several times and starts in small quantities so the plant does not stress. good luck mate 👍
just needing some grow nutes bro - suffering with lack of nitrogen [light green / yellow leaves] and prob other defs. leds = more powerful light = hungry fukka!
@GYOweed, ok, it sounds as though you're running a 24/0 light schedule - this imo will always accelerate / magnify any deficiencies as you need to up the feed to account for a]. using led and b]. running 24/0.
my suggestion is to give them 4 hours of rest a day and don't flick the bloom switch until they have recovered otherwise you'll be constantly chasing the issue as oppose to addressing it.
@mr_h_kovert, im new to these too may i ask when is it ok to turn on the bloom switch in veg for autoflowers? I have wattshine 900w 5w chips its 120watt real about 60w/60w veg/bloom. Thanks!
Some lovely ladies you got there. My 4 assed monkeys is almost don’t germinating. Seeing this has me hyped. Also got my first night owl seeds in. Have you enjoyed them so far? Beyond hyped to pop those. Anyways great work my friend. Keep it up.
@Lavos, glad to hear it. Mine just came today and I dropped one in water immediately. Thanks for the positive vibes growski. Fingers crossed for both of us
How beautiful that 4 Assed Monkey looks 😍
I can literally feel that I would love the taste if you know what I mean :D
Too bad I can't find any beans currently.
Much love from Germany, keep going/growing!
Congratulations on the new baby. She looks good at first. Choose a good variety. For a treat. Keep doing what you are doing and ask the growing ganja gods to protect your women until the growth is over.
Some lovely ladies you got there. Happy and healthy for sure. Great work. Love the choice of genetics as well. Running my first night owl ever next to a bunch of mephs. Super excited.
I also learned this about modern leds especially with reflectors they more powerful than they look. Im soiless mix mostly and i use fabric stays very cool so increased temp to 78f cal mag helped me too always 1tsp/gal and has enough N for flower.
Did you ever turn your light back to full power? If so, when? I’m interested to know the happy place for your light and the time periods and heights you found worked best for each stage of growth of your plants. I’m currently running the exact same setup and starting my first grow too, so I would love if you shed some light? (No pun intended) haha.
@Fuzzbird, I did eventually turn them back up to stock power (206w) at around day 30. I think my next grow I'll start out at about 80% power and raise the lights a bit. Saw some minor light stress but nothing too bad. This is what I saw recommended for lux values: Seedling 5000-15000, Establishment (as they get their first true fan leaves) 20-25k, Veg 25-30k, Early flower/stretch 35k, Flower 45k+
Good luck on your first grow!
