Day 74
I noticed how the dark one filled decreased chlorophyll downward from the top and I'm wondering why. So I looked up what makes a plant color and its a genetic switch being switched on. Somehow, I don't know, mostly luck. Then, thinking about the meaning of phenotype: two of the same genotype experiencing different environments.
I don't know if the strain is suppose to express purple all the time, I have not seen many pictures of NL #5 Auto in Black/Blue Purple on the internet. So, these are mine, and I like the colors lime and black on red and the tropical light lime, lavender that the lighter plant seems to be going to. I cant stop looking at the dark one. I'm a noob, what can I say.
Also, who knows if I ever can get what I consider a nice phenotype on the dark one and perhaps the light one. Maybe it is not a pheno, but the regular look of the strain, either way they both smell super sweet tropical. If the light one expresses tropical, that would be nice looking. If the dark one gets more dark, with white frost, and pale stems and streaks of green, it'll look dam like Christmas time. Visually appetizing.
My neighbors ain't getting any.
They been eyeing my dank for a week, I sit in a lawn chair and wave at them.
Thursday update: 2 pics weather change to maritime with a drastic cooldown. Please tell me I'm not crazy seeing what I see.
