Granddaddy confidential

A granddaddy confidential I purchased from pheno finder seeds. This is a clone from a seed a friend of mine was gifted a year or so ago, they claim it's one of their favorites for training. That's not really my thing, but I do love good bud, and they also claim this to be some outstanding video game weed. I'm willing to give her a shot. When I got her she was in a sad state, after some TLC and getting her root system better established she really took off. I put her into a 7 gallon fabric pot with some fox farm strawberry fields mix yesterday. Wayerered with a tarantula heavy mix to further encourage root growth and stimulate those secondary bud sites into waking from any veg slumber they might be in. She's always had this kinda crab crawfish curl to.her leaves, maybe it's a feature of the strain. Other than that she seems perfectly normal, cant wait to see how she turns out!

The GDC is looking super awesome! Bunch of longer arms that look like they will turn into long coals, so that is something to look forward to. My first run with this strain, so nothing but excitment and surprises! Day 4 of flower April 8th 2020 already getting some nice hair stacking, nodes all seem 5o have stayed relatively tight. Should be a bunch of branch long nugs I'm hoping!

Day 7-april 12th- she's looking real nice already. Has some furry tops, and seems to have a nice job of giving herself an even canopy. She's got some really purple stems on all her leaves, I'm sure thats the grandaddy influencing her. I've only taken 2 large leaves off her that were blocking a lot of lower sites. Otherwise I just let her be herself and she what she does.

Gdc starting her third week today, and she looks so nice. Covered in nice crunchy looking trichs already. Also is just dirty with chunky nugs all over every branch on the top 3/4's of the plant. Nice to see, reminds me of the Cindy 99 in bud structure at this point, see where she goes from here.

Day 28- start of week 4 for the grandaddy confidential. She loomkng ready frosty, especially compared to the girl scout cookies next to her. She's got a skunky earthy scent with something else on the bottom end that I can't quite place. Very intoxicating aroma. Looks like she will have some real dense buds, exciting! Day 32- she was looking extra fat and sexy today, so I took some pics

day 35- GDC is looking fat and frosty for week 5....first run on her so maybe that's just what she does. Website says she's a 9 to 10 week run, but shes already got a bunch of cloudy trichomes and some yellow ones as well. No Ambers, and still a majority of clears, but its interesting for sure

day 42- ooooooooooweeeeeeee!!!!! Look at this beautiful sweetie!!!! She's starting to fatten up so nice. Just chunky nugs everywhere. A proliferation of crusty, crunchy and icy looking trichomes are just everywhere, including the fan leaves! I dont see any purple yet, but I've got my fingers crossed it happens soon.....i mean grandaddy purps is a parent....it has to get some purple!?! Even if she doesn't, she is an amazing specimen. Can't wait to cut her, dry her and smoke her!

day 49- I am nothing but impressed with this beauty of a plant. Even without any purple on her, I think she's a real gem. The tight bud structure, supe dense and heavy buds, non stop trichome production, cool clawing leaves that get crusted with crystals as well. Its just fun to grow and watch. Havent even smoked any yet, but my guess is that she will be top notch. Should be ready within the next week or two, had been putting on noticeable weight every day for the last 5 days to a week. Can't wait!

I'll post more once its dried and cured Love this stuff. It really stinks though. Its hard to desrcibe.....has an earthy, minty,creamy, kinds purply smell with hints of diesel and moss... if you're old like me, and had He-man toys growing up, there's a definite mixture of moss man and skunkor in there. The moss man smell, and that like taste...or tang or whatever it was that you'd get in the back of your throat when you took a big whiff of a fresh skunkor....like a year old or less. I know the smell stunk longer than a year, but the first year was the prime year. If you don't know what I'm talking about cause you didn't have He-man toys....I'm sorry you failed childhood 😀
