Freebie girl scout cookies I hot from midweeksong. Not sure if I'm going to keep this lady in my collection. To be fair I havent given her a really fair shake. Anytime I've flowered her she's been in an undersized pot, and cramped. She's also never been the main event and warranted any TLC from me. Before I ace her though, I should really give her a fair try.....this time again shes starting behind the 8 ball. Left her in a 1/2 gallon bag for 2 weeks too long, she suffered some nute deficiencies because of it. I didnt give her any time to recover either, just dropped her in fresh soil I a 7 gallon fabric pot and pit her into the flower tent. Shes got more of anything than any of her ilk ever had. She does even halfway decent and I'll have to do it all over again lol. I'm just too reluctant to let a strain go and all to eager to add a new one to the group. All told I think I have 17 different strains going right now. With another 9 waiting on the wings for their shot on the field. What a wonderful problem to have!
Stretch is done and looks like shes starting to make her flowers. Counting today as day 2 of flower. Just to make it easier to have 3 plants all start on the same day instead of over the period of 4 days. Shes doing. Better than I thought she would, see what happens.
4-8-20- day 4 of flower. She stretched a lot over night, I had to raise the light to keep her in the light. Get too close and there's a dead spot in the middle. She's also putting on some nice heavy pistols already.
day 7-april 12th- I think she may be done stretching....but I've saud that before, so who knows. Ive got another couple feet of hight yet, so she can if she wants to. She really has so.e tight node stacking everywhere. Branches all seem nice and thick, maybe overly thick. 🤔 If it means the buds to come are gonna be hugec well I'm into that for sure. Til I write again! Grow healthy!
Start of week 3- looks pretty nice, but doesn't have any trichome development yet, or at the most has very minimal trich development. Especially compared to the grandaddy confidential next to her. Maybe she will pick up soon....
Day 28- gsc is entering her 4th week now, and is still disappointing on the resin production level. She seems to perform well on all other fronts though. Lots of bud sites, lots of calyx production. The hairs are all nice a fat hairs. Not little whispy things like some strains get. All her branches are pretty bud laden, the top 2/3 of the plant look like they wi be covered from main stem to tip in bud. Still on the fence on whether to keep her after this or not. I could use 1 less plant, but at the same time am hesitant to kill anything off and not have those genetics available to me anymore. Time will tell.
day 35 for GSC- shes finally started to put on some visible trichomes. Some of her hairs are starting to brown up as well. She should start to fatten up in the next couple weeks, see what she can do
day 42- Girl scout cookies! She went and got a bunch of purple shading on some of her leaves last night 🌙. And I must say, it looks good on her. She has also kicked her resin production into overdrive, which is a real relief for me. Dont really see much fattening of the calyxes yet, but that can always all happen in the matter of a couple days, so just gotta wait. I think she still has a good 3 weeks left maybe even a solid month still, see what happens!
day 49- start of week 7 today. Shes starting to get some really pretty colorations on her leaves, and is starting to put on some heavier trichomes, but still nothing compared to other girl scout cookies I've seen. I think this leans more towards a sativa influence than an indica one. Shes taller than my other anta, leaves are skinner and more lime green in color. Bud structure is also airy and more sativa like than the dense indica buds normally associated with girl scout cookies strains. Still has a slim chance to be in my closet, but she will have to really blow my socks off with her smoke.
Day 52- shes all alone now, the grandaddy came down, so the tents is hers until she's done now. Her purple colorations are spreading downwards. She's looking rwally pretty, has a nice sweet almost gingerbread like smell. She's also fattening up real nice 👌
Day 56- shes not quite there yet. Some cloudy trichomes but most are still clear. Shes been getting only root nutes and water for a week now. Lots of purple 💜 on her leaves now. And some bright orange hairs too, I will give her this.....shes really pretty yhe last couple of weeks of flower. And shes put on some considerable weight. Especially since the grandaddy came down and shes had the tent to herself. Close!
Needed to take her down to make room in other tent for more important strains. Ill dry and cute her out and keep one clone around just in case she is incredible, but I have other cookies strains from other places if rather try. Specifically red hot cookies from sweet seeds. Ill start a new journal soon with her!
