She should be ready for harvest any day. Getting eager now. Trying to give her a few more days if possible. The hairs are about 50/50 white and amber/orange. And the trichomes are getting cloudy. Maybe 5 more days
Does this look like a normal size autoflower plant beginning in week 4? It popped out of the ground on march 4th and the first photograph is taken on march 6th during week 1. And the mast picture was taken today (3/27). It has been about 21 days total.
Yes, the plant looks great for 3 weeks. She is growing fast enough that I would probably do a light defoliation on a couple of the upper fan leaves. I see a few that are blocking budsites and if you can open them up to more light they will grow up even with the top and give you more top buds. Good luck in flower!
Should I defoliate a few fan leaves towards the bottom of the plant? She is very very wide and bushy. I feel like the bottom would produce some large branches and buds if there was more light penetrating. And there are so many leaves tucking only gets so much light through.
I regularly defoliate extra leaves that block light to new growing branches and interfere with the development of internodes. Don't forget that you grow inflorescences, not leaves, so you don't need to feel sorry for them! I often even remove the upper leaves so that they do not cast a shadow on the developing inflorescences
@Pepperoni91, Oh you never know.. I got plenty of time to screw it up! *lol* Can't wait to see your harvest.. Love that I found this site and am now exposed to a whole new world of weed!!
@StoneyMelony, thank you for the help and advice. Yes I have been trying to stop the tip burn but haven't been able to. Although it hasn't gone any further than the tips, so I guess that's one positive lol. But I'll keep an eye on your grows as well. It has been a pleasure speaking cannabis with you too !
@Pepperoni91, I think you are doing a real nice job, Your leaves are showning you are doing good, i don't see bad tip burn ( little bit showing is no problem as long as you stop in time, then you know you push them to the max) and the position of the leaves look very healthy they are not bending down or up, and are in the "praying mantis" position wich is the sweet spot i think. I think you are doing very good so you're heading towards a great harvest i think ! yeah and coco is great in my opinion only thing is to change your head complete about watering. I water every day with nuts and runoff even in early stage from day 1. Good luck and nice talking cannabis with you 😋
@StoneyMelony, thanks again for taking the time to respond and give me some of your advice. I appreciate it!
You are absolutely right about the watering situation. Always something I try to keep an eye on as I dont want to over water my plants. In the Fabric Air pots it does make it much harder to over water, which is good for a beginner like me lol.
I'll keep an eye on the ppn. I've been only adding nutrients every other watering to give my plants enough time to recover and absorb the nutrients. I haven't had any issues so far....knock on wood.. and hopefully I get lucky enough for that to continue.
I'm going to have to try coco on my next grow and maybe itll be a much better switch from soil. :)

@@OimRausch, thanks 👍👍 first grow, so I'm happy how far I've made it so far. Just cut her down and hung her in the drying room for the next 2 weeks. Hopefully this phase goes well too!! 😜😁
Thank you. This is my first grow ever. I tried to do the best research I could and figured i would start with the autoflowering plant which has been a great learning experience.
If I am using foxfarm happy frog soil, do I need to add nutrients or should I let it use the nutrients already in the soil? I get very mixed research on autoflowers and nutrients in soil
@@Mainekneeyak, thanks I appreciate the feedback! And yes you are correct. The 2 larger ones in the photo are Auto Lemon Haze from MSNL seed bank. And the smaller ones are auto blue dream. I started them all at different times but they seem to all be growing fast.
I wish you luck with your grow. These plants are beautiful and grow so fast.
@Pepperoni91, Looking great man! Which strain is this it says lemon and blue dream in the tags? I see you have several plants not sure which ones are which? I'm growing the lemons right now but behind you by a couple weeks, watching your grow will be like seeing into the future by a couple weeks,
