Hey ! So, this time I plan to grow RQS Royal Gorilla x3, using soil in 9L airpots, Foxfarm nutrients and 600W Led lamp. Don't know yet if I plan to LST or SCROG. Just repoted them yesterday in intermediate recipients and put them under light after a nice sunny afternoon. No nutrients yet. I'll try to update every week on Sunday. Also, thanks to RQS for reaching out; I'll do my best on this one ;) Have all a nice week growers !

Uneventful week; plants are slowly getting stronger 💪 Lights on 18/6; only one (20W) fan running for now. I'll start feeding them as soon as I'll repot them in bigger recipients; next week or so. Have all a great week friends ! :)

I transplanted them this afternoon; maybe a bit too soon, but I plan to top them in a few days, so I'd rather avoid applying more pressure later. Plus, I had to repot some other plants too :) I'll start feeding them some nutrients as of tomorrow. Have all a nice week !

Had a technical issue, so here's a late-ish update for last week; - Adjusted nutrients apports and added some grow big (6-4-4) to the mix - Topped my plants (the last one was topped yesterday, so you'll see it on week 5). First time doing it. I just put some ties around fan leaves, so new nodes get more light; not really LST at this point, but I plan to do it when they'll grow thick enough Nothing more; plants look healthy, I have good feelings about this grow :) Later !

These plants are growing wild !! They are so bushy :D Internodes are very short, and I don't really know if I should prune subbranches or let them grow this way. For now, I tied most of them on the side so they can reach canopee as well. So, what do you suggest ? I don't plan to top them more; one time seems to be enough. Also, they don't grow tall, maybe the lamp is too close (35cm) ? It seems ok to me but I'd like your opinion on that too. I know they'll stretch when I'll put them to flo, so I'm not too worried about that. I plan to switch next week, or the next one, considering how bushy they are. Do you think it is too soon ? And finally, I spotted some little stains on a few leaves; looks like mild calcium deficiency. I plan to add some calmag to the mix soon. Again, I'm all ears to any advice you could give ! Have all a nice week friends; See you next time ! :) Edit 27/04/2020 : Late update; thanks to everyone for answering my question (about stacked internodes). Special thanks to @Budget_Buds and @OGgrows ! It was so obvious, but I haven't think about it :D So, I rised the lamp 15cm further and added red lights. I bought this lamp last year, and only started using it mid veg stage, so I wasn't prepared for this :D I'll probably prune some subbranches in the next few days too. Thanks again ! :)

I'll put my question here as well for better visibility; Plants are very bushy and I'm not sure if I should prune subbranches or let them grow that way. I'm a little worried they'll lack space when they'll start flowering. It might be suboptimal as well. Thanks for helping me !

Hi @Cockpitloulou the spectrum of your light seems to me to be the cause of slow growth. I have seen several negative reviews about vipaspectra leds, good for flowering only. Rise the light more for the plants stretch more. you should prune subbranches that are not keeping up with others branches. good luck mate 👍

Plants are slowly getting taller; I keep tying them down every night, so new bud sites can develop. Everything's fine so far. I'm not sure I should switch to 12/12 next week or wait one more; I feel they are ready but I'd like your input on that. What should I do ? Also, I removed some fan leaves from first levels, under the canopee; not too much I think. I might add some calmag next week, and that's it ! Have all a nice week !

Hey ! Pics are not in the right order; I changed my phone and index started over ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Plants (especially one) showed what looks like phosphorus deficiency, so I added some to the mix. CalMag as well. I loosed the ties a bit so branches can start to grow up. Also, just switched to 12/12 on Friday (47 days from seed). Everything's fine so far :) Wish you all a great week my dudes !

1st week of flowering; everything seems fine. I'll probably adapt the setup soon, move things around, etc... Do you see anything I can do now to optimize this grow ? Should I tighten the ties again ? Remove sub-branches and leaves maybe ? I'm not used to perform this kind of maintenance 😅 Thanks for reading; Talk to you next week ! Have all a good one ! :)

Nothing particular this week. I move stuff around to give plants more space and adjust canopy <-> light distance. Let me know if you have any question / suggestion / advice. Wish you all a nice week !

So, this week I cut phosphorous intake in half, and did a small cleanup job, removing some leaves. Plants look really healthy, except I would've expected they showed nitrogen deficiency signs since then, which suggest soil might be keeping some nutrients. Not sure if that's good or bad (certainly not a real issue tho). I started to flush yesterday; we'll see how it goes for the next few days. I already see a few amber trichomes, so harvest is either for end of week or next one. I'll have to travel a few days next week-end, so I try to sequence everything the best I can :) Also, I just heard about stem splitting, which doesn't seem to be a common technique among us; I'm not planning to do this to my plants (at least not yet), but I'd like to have your opinion on that; anyone tried ? What gives ? See you next week friends !

Plants are ready to harvest but I'll wait til next week to cut them down. I'll be away for a few days and don't want them to be over-dry, so hanging them the day before I leave (3 days) sounds like a better idea. Can't wait :) I'll probably update the week after, since harvest and review are tied here. Later my dudes ! ;)

Very satisfied with this year harvest; although I don't really explain why there is so much of a gap between wet and dry weight. Maybe they dried a bit too quickly (barely 4 days) ? (buds are just fine tho; no need to worry ;)). Anyway, I had a blast this year; did proper LST, and had a better nutrients schedule than previously. Thanks to all of you, especially those that helped me, answered my questions and commented ! :) I'll be back in a few months, probably ;)
