RQS - Green Gelato Automatic

I’m excited to see what RQS have to offer with this little Gem! I’ve been waiting to try another of Royals Automatics, Green Gelato is a strain I very much look forward to with desert strains being at the Top of my list 🥇 It’s been an eventful first few days.. (arnt they always!) she’s poked her head up yesterday so Day 1 is 30/03/20. Let’s see how this week treats her, I plan to keep a close eye on the environmental conditions and to ensure she’s being fed some gentle nutrients, CalMag to begin with followed by some BioBizz Grow for the extra nitrogen needed at this delicate time 👌 See you all next week, I hope with more leaves to show 🌱✌️ Peace and love, stay safe

A steady and successful first week for Green Gelato, small waterings using a sprayer with PH 6 water. Some new equipment turned up so I’m really excited about this grow, I’ve always used the cheap ph pens and have done okay, time to step it up a bit for my girls and myself with results 🤞🤓 All seems to be well with the leaves and development so I’ll continue as I am although next week there will be the introduction of some further nutrients, gently does it 👌 As always thank you for reading, stay safe and stay growing! 🙏✌️👍

The Green Gelato was FIM’d this week and she took it in her stride! Textbook response with the lower branches shooting up for the light after the auxins spread out evenly among the plans structure. I’m really happy with how things are going with it, no more LST other than some easy occasional leaf tucking 👍 More nutrients and more greenery from Gelato next week please 😊 See you all there! Green Gelato stretched her legs this past week which is good news! Preflowers is in process! Bud sites popping up almost by the day, Another happy plant in the garden that’s had an increase in nutrients between PH’d waterings, she’s soaking it all up and showing of new greenery so she’s a happy Gelato 😁 I will very slowly introduce more nutrients this next week including some BioBizz Bloom to cover any phosphorus or potassium needs. Let’s see how much more stretching is left! ✌️👊👍

The Green Gelato didn’t change too much this week apart from the obvious swelling and showering of trichomes 😁 A very sweet smell is beginning to be emitted by both the flowers and the foliage, a little stretch here and there from main stems but nothing crazy. I plan to keep an eye on areas that’ll benefit from leaf removal and the obvious health indicators or her other than that she’s just getting a good dose of nutrients and plenty of light. Green Gelato really took shape these past few days, looking just like it’s photoperiod genetics with its structure of almost ice cream cone buds 😁 I fed the gelato some home brew compost/microbe tea and it looks like there will be some great results over the next week or so, I will continue to feed lightly and defoliate where necessary. This week has been a good one! Some natural fade appearing and some serious stank! Very nice! Make sure you’ve got a filter for this one, it’s Covered in trichomes! Very smelly, very sticky and very beautiful! 😁 The pistles are ambering evenly spread the training was well worth it on this one, a even canopy Of beautiful budsites. It’s loving upto it’s description! Thank you RQS I’ll remove the wilting leaves when necessary and commence the flush! 2 ish weeks left before the chop I’m estimating!

The final week of growth for the Green G, a creamy sweet pungent aroma from this little lady! You can see the array of trichomes covering all the flowers so well! I’m looking forward to tasting and testing the potency of this! It’s got some figures and reputation to live up to! All trichomes cloudy now, I’ll be watering one last time some PHD water and let her dry out before the chop. I plan to hang her for a week before a proper trim up and into the jar 👌 I’m really impressed of how this green gelato with rudelaris genetics looks so close to the photo period! Great work RQS! 😁 best bit is I have more of these to pop!

A really solid strain to grow, very similar structure to other gelatos and as always a solid gene pool from RQS that rewards with quality flower :) not a bad yield too for a baby! As said above more being popped! Can’t get enough of this sweet smooth creamy goodness 😋😁 Thank you RQS 🙏
