Quarantine madness! Because I'm living in quarantine since 3 weeks now (thank you gov) I lost the control of my small box and fullfilled him with EVERYTHING I could grow! This will sustain me for a while, since I got 12 plants inside (+2 seeds which are germinating).
I started on february with the ICE, slow veg due to frozen temperature, I topped her and cleaned the back part so I can run her on the wall with some reinforcement like a steel net or sort of. She will be feeded with organic RQS nutrition.
Then I added in march 2 uknown bagseeds (Berry "something") to confront different techniques of growing: one started in a tiny pot and was slowly transplanted TWO times, while the other will grow in a Kratky pot (passive system). Both are feeded with Biobizz.
Now I'm preparing for the outdoor season, 4xSapphire Scout and 5xBagseeds from a nice strain I got during new year's holiday. Hope to find some girls, I put 10 seeds to germinate but one died :(
Then I forgot I couldn't smoke for a while so I put 2x Auto Jamaican Blue Mountain -old seeds that I got during the 2016 Rototom Festival.
Oh yes, half of the box was full of tomatoes, but they will be put outdoor soon..
Let's see what I can do during this quarantine!!!
Hi @AlpineGoat the light must be very high and it stretches too fast in proportion as the stalk gains strength. lower your light further, make a small pile with substrate around the stalk until the plant can stand upright, point a fan at them to blow the wind gently so as not to damage them but so that they shake, the more the stalk shakes the more it gains volume and strength. good luck mate🍀🙏👍
Kratky system isn’t working well for my girl.
She keeps growing slowly thanks to some hydratation with the spray but the roots never reached the water.
I never used rockwool for her, only perlite. What can I do?
It’s almost 1 month old!
@Silky_smooth, have the same kind of setup on one of her diary or too so I recommending you to take a look and well copy what she's doing has she's doing it well. That said if the roots doesn't touch the water you can bring more water or put a cotton mesh , like that the water will travel trought the mesh and will reach the roots , google it , if I remember well they are doing it with dutch pots or NFT system ( I'm not sure )
Short story lot of question: I grew this bagseed for a month an 2 weeks now, and this beauty start showing some pistils on the internode under the top.
I kept her under 18hrs light..
Is it a female?
Is it an auto?
If yes to both question: how should it need before blooming?
When a plant is pushing pistils before the 12/12 switch it does not mean that she is an auto , it’s mean that she is showing sex and that she can be either a female or an hermie ( yes it is a bagseed so it could be an hermaphrodite ). After 2 month and a half you can fairly say that it is not an auto as an auto can be harvest from seeds in 3 month.
Guerrilla grows.... You gotta be careful and cautious when choosing a spot but there's always going to be a high probability that this is going to happen, wherever you choose. Sorry to hear 😞
