Well it seems to be slowing down in length over the past few days, just hit 21". Hoping it doesn't get any taller as I've had to keep adding spacers to my spacebucket. I've still got some spots which I'm thinking could be light/heat stress. I'm adding cal-mag with my nutes at ph 6.3, flush a couple weeks back showed ph 6.3 runoff too so I believe it's not a lockout issue, hoping the community can chime in. Hoping to see the buds fill out more with some frosty leaves soon.

Grow Questions

Could someone possibly identify the issue on that one leaf? I had another like that a bit worse that where the edges started to curl. They were fan leaves so I ended up removing them as they were a bit worse off. Doing much better now, only guess is too much nutes.

Doesn't look like too much nutes. That will cause burning at tips and move in. Kinda looks like calcium deficiency. It looks like some ph or heat issues on leaves in those areas. Check your ph of run off and monitor temp. If that stops it could have been minor issue being magnified by those issues. Ph can lock out cal. Dark green leaves come from either too much ph or genetics. ( if your plant has purple or blue genetics it will be darker ). I suspect yours is genetic. No clawing.

I'm still dealing with some spots that seem like cal-mag lock-out/deficiency but my PH is at 6.2-6.5. I think the light was too powerful I moved it up from about 16" to 18". I hope to have a lux meter soon to confirm any light stress issue. Still look like PH fluctuation?

probably some time two weeks ago there was a pH fluctuation which caused the symptoms to first appear, and it's resolved now but the inertia of the thing makes it so that it sort of gets worse before the symptoms stop spreading. Nonetheless you're at a heavy light schedule so your plant needs more magnesium that's what's causing the yellowing on the serrated edges of the plant's leaf. You should probably lower the light schedule as much as you're comfortable with , the consider spraying cal mag at 1 ml / L twice a week just before "sunrise" for the next two weeks. Absorption by the leafs is 80% compared to 20% at the root level. You can probably increase your calmag to 1ml/L in the feed as well. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hey thanks for the replies!! Very helpful! I'm currently using - Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus (2 – 0 – 0)- at 2.5ml in every gallon (3.8liters), is 1-0-0 a better mix to use (FoxFarms,CaliMagic)?

hey there again ! i dont like N in my cal mag at all, so for me the less the better. as long as you factor it into your feeding schedule you should be fine though. content wise cal mag is cal mag so it's down to the N difference if you like extra N or not, mine is a 000 cal mag ... hope this helps ! 🚀

Would I be better off staggering the harvest since the main cola is getting the most light and is 7-8" taller than the rest of the budsites? Wondering about the pros/cons. I'm not impatient just wondering if it would help develop the lower buds. TIA!

You can totally stagger them if need be! But go by the Trichomes as to when to take the buds.. look for 20-30% amber and your golden! Happy Harvesting!

@walleyeguy has a good answer for you there, just a minor pH fluctuation which caused this minor issue which resolved itself on its own basically. 🚀

Done well with this one bro just make sure u dry it out over the space of 1 week 2week and then cure your bud for another month or longer if u can wait that long this will leave you with the best smoke about, trust bro I'm a good few crops in now my first I dryed it for about a week and stared smoking straight away and my bud just tastes off home grown as my grows got bigger I had to leave a lot off my bud to cure for longer and as the buds was lasting over a month or 2 my bud was curing for that long and the difference is un real... Best tip I could pass on to you mate dry your bud for about 2 weeks and cure it for min 1 month sf brother congrats on your harvest

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Just had a quick look at ur dairy.. Ur problems wer definitely from overfeeding (in soil u dont need any food for first 2-3wks).. U started feeding her at 2nd wk.. This was too early.. Also.. I notice u are using a 3part formula.. These are not meant to b used in equal amounts.. They wer made for the nasa space program.. Ideally u have better control over ur plants micro/macro elements and u shud b using higher levels of grow during veg then u lower the veg mix while upping the bloom.. I not sure of exact quantity of each as i only ever used once wen i first started and knew to little n my results wer poor.. If u decide to stay with these nutes(amazing if u get it right im told, which i believe for most nuted tbf).. Av a look at other ppls files (check on this site for ghe and check the dairy.. It will show u how many grow /harvest with products-another reason i love this site!).. Stay safe n gud luck with ur future grows.. 👍🍀
