Hi everyone. ☮️ This is my first experience with hydroponics and I just can't stabilize the pH, it keeps jumping around. I lower it to 5.5 and the next day it's 6.2-6.4. What do you recommend? Thanks in advance.

At low concentrations, it's very difficult to stabilize pH. Although I thought that pH was perfect for this.
A large amount of bicarbonates in the water will also hinder lowering the pH to sufficiently low values. There are two solutions here: either water treatment or water analysis and taking these values into account when mixing the nutrient solution.

buffer the solution ph with both ph up and ph down, that way it will be more stable. Those jumps happen when the reservoir is too small, so try to increase its size

Hasiklis420 This week has been nerve-wracking. The thing is, the water in my city has a very high pH of 8.6, and that's tap water. I tried to lower it with lemon juice, but after a day, it goes back to the same level. Today, I bought pH EASY DOWN (VITALINK) and lowered it to 5.6. After about 2 hours, I measured it again, and it was 6.4. I decided to leave it as it is for now and will keep an eye on it. Wishing everyone a big harvest 🌱🌴🌳🌲.

Hasiklis420 14 days. The week went well. I started using pH DOWN buffer. I tried to lower it to 5.2-5.6, but it still rises to 6.4. But in my opinion, the girls seem to be doing well. I raised the solution dose to 1.5 ml / 1 lt. of base nutrients + root it 2 ml / 1 lt.

Hasiklis420 Hey everyone. We're 41 days in. About 10 days ago, both girls showed V-shaped pistils. They're growing well, Wedding Cheesecake is doing really great.
