CFL GROW AND 40WATT LED Both plants, at end of last week and start of this week, suffered from NO WATER, . Was gone for 5 days. Leafs were all down when I got there. Maybe 48hours off the regular water schedule Very fast strain for sure. I'm a first time grower. N1 ready for harvest. 3 days full darkness. Will take a bud today, and test it. Going for drying today N2 maybe more 8 or 15 days, I guess. Lst was better done on this one, most probably gng to yield more. N2 sprouted on April 13th, N1 on April 6th, so it took only 2months from sprout to harvest.

Started out on very small pots, and infested soil. I noticed some very small flies, that looked like mosquito's. Learned now it's Fungus Gnats. They have been eating and making some tears on leafs. Have changed to bio bizz light mix soil. Any homemade recipe to help?

for fungus gnats actually the solution is very simple : they need moisture to keep their eggs safe, so as long as you stop overwatering then they will just basically disappear within a few days. You can see the symptoms of overwatering like the puffy space between the veins of the leafs and the downward curling tips . the main thing is to respect a very strict wet dry cycle, just leave it one more day than you usually would or even more if necessary. diatomaceous earth works well, but my favorite remedy for any type insect is actually biological : use bacilus thuriengiensis , this bacteria doesnt harm the plants at all but it will parasite the eggs, larvae and even go into the brains of the flying insects... after you add it you'll start seeing the flying ones behave in wierd ways when they fly and in like 10 days everything will be gone. Hope this helps ! 🚀

I had the very same problem a few weeks ago. I bought yellow sticky pads from amazon and placed them on the sides of the tent which catches all the flying ones. Problem is they lay eggs very quickly on top of moist soil. To kill the eggs i recommend you buy neem oil and do a soil flush when watering the plants. This kills the larvae and stops them reproducing. Also try to only water when needed and let the soil really dry out between waterings as they can only thrive in moist conditions. A combination of yellow sticky pads and neem oil wil get rid of them. The neem oil also protects the roots. Also mix neem oil and water to spray bottle and do a foliar spray as it protects the leaves from being eaten. Hope this helps. Good luck 👍

I think you still have about 2 weeks left before harvest. Don't worry about leaving her to dry too much, it really doesn't matter. More important to give her the flowering time she deserves and harvest later rather than sooner. 🌱👍

keep it in the dark any longer it'll die and rot on your branches. judge your trichomes, get some picture references from google image and various forums.. or here too! Maybe it's my eyes, but that doesn't seem to be quite enough magnification.. maybe if you get up close with your eye it works better? anyway, darkness is only important relative to preventing photosynthesis leading up to harvest. If it "seems" to help development at top of canopy, then it is more likely your lights are too hot -- either heat or photons, both are energy that can do this. you are likely evaporating trichomes off the top. if doing it just because you read it somewhere, i'd tone it down at the least, if you want to continue doing it. 36 hours is about as long as it takes. the theory behind the harvest thing is that it prevents biological processes related to photosynthesis.. Catabolistic processes take place (may have made up a word there! BWAHAH) like breaking things down to be used in sugar, then anabolic process like building molecues for internal development take place. supposedly this is bad for taste. i do it just in case, because all i have to do is harvest in morning to accomplish the goal.. no big deal. starving the plant of light for 2 or 3 days isn't a net positive in any context i can thinkoff of the top of my head, unelss you burned off triches, which doens't look to be the case, fwiw. i speak mostly in generalizations, because there's all sorts of data missing when answering questions - no fault to anyone invovled.
