Began with germination via paper towel method. Root exposed approximately 15 hours later. Placed carefully with root down into small pot with pro-mix soil with kelp meal. Placed under dome and 100watt light until until leaves exposed (not cotyledons). I had also wrapped tinfoil half way around dome to prevent leggy seedling.
After approximately 2 days plant was moved into grow tent on 18/6 light schedule with white/blue spectrum. Humidity/temperature controlled around 55%/22degrees celcius. Humidity should be higher for seedling stage but have other plant in bloom in same tent, compromise.
I began my vegetative stage when the second set of fan leaves appeared (with 7 tiny blades). Slightly darker green leaves so far and plant height of 3 inches. Slight breeze applied to plant to strengthen root.
So far, so good.
it only really depends on why you're even measuring growth. like if the seedling stage is not important and you start counting at week three for whatever reason then that's fine, same as the opposite if it's from seed or when you first transplant root plugs. the main idea is dont confuse yourself because that's the only person that these measurements really matter to. The correct time is when the seeds poped and cracked , some will say it's when the 1st st of round leaves can be seen ( the cotyledons ) but it's just a 1 to 2 days difference

Began FloraSeries nutrients on day 21 of grow. Nutrients were given at 1/2 strength and with a ph of 5.7.
Plant seems healthy, although could be bigger at this time. Lights will be lowered to hopefully increase growth.
Cont'd with FloraSeries Nutrients (Ph - 6.1)
Plant seems to be growing slowly, reason being (I believe) was a dirty led lens. Took apart my tent, cleaned/sanitized every part.
Used Super Thrive (non-nutrient day) to hopefully boost growth back to normal.

Decided to try topping for my first time. Topped just above the 6th internode.
Slow plant growth related to led's, new Mars Hydro 3000 on the way.
This will be my last week updating on this plant until harvest. I had run into a few problems in my tent setup that I am in the process of fixing and will begin a new journal for an indoor grow.
I will be placing this plant outside shortly and will finish the journal after harvest with yield and quality.
