FastBuds Lemon AK & Gorilla Glue

So far so good. Plants are progressing as expected. Update: End of the week Plants are growing well and I lowered my light to 24". Looking forward to week 2!

Week 2 went well. Not much to report. I'm starting to up the strength of my nutes next week and lowering my light to 18" and we'll see how that goes. Growth is starting to accelerate and the GG and LAK appear to have about the same growth rate. Really looking forward to week 3!

Very pleased with the girl's progress during week 3. They are starting to give off a faint sweet cannabis smell. Not strong, but very noticeable. Had a bit of a mishap while converting ML to TSP and accidentally gave them a bit to much nutes one feeding but it seemed to work out ok as I don't see any evidence of nutrient burn. Number 2 LAK was lagging behind the others at the start of the week but now she seems to be catching up some. My favorite plant so far this grow is the GG #3. She's a nice deep green with large wide leaves, beautiful girl. Very much looking forward to week 4 as I expect the girls to really take off growing during week 4. All in all a pretty good week. I'm happy with the rate of growth and now I'm seeing roots protruding out around the bottom of my grow bags. A pretty good sign my roots are nice and healthy. I expect the growth rate will accelerate even further during week 5. The smell is a bit stronger now, sorta sweet and kinda piney. Going to start LST this next week. I'm starting to see some pretty good branching so I think it's time. Thanks for checking out my grow!

Overall I'm happy with the results of week 5. I think I may have been going a bit too light with my nutes so I up'd them a little bit. Began LST this week and tied the main stems down and the girls seem to be responding well. I have a scrog net and I'm thinking about using it or I my just continue what I'm doing. We'll see how week 6 goes. The smell is getting stronger and I'm looking forward to seeing the first flowers appearing anytime now. Thanks for checking out my grow! 😊

Week 6 and the girls are really starting to get bushy and the Lemon AK is starting to flower nicely. The Gorilla Glue seems to be a bit behind the LAK in the flowering department but they are filling out well. I'm switching over to bloom nutes this week and doing a bit more LST. I got busy with work last week and neglected to raise my light as they grew. As a result I think I may have had a bit of light stress on the taller LAK's. But after raising my lights they seem to be responding well. Overall I'm real pleased with the girls so far and the smell is really starting to build. Any thoughts or suggestions on how I might improve my grow are always welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to check out my ladies! 👍

So far so good. Last week was basically more of the same. # 2 Lemon AK is still a bit shorter than the rest of the girls but she's bushy af. I set her up on a small bucket to even out my canopy some and get her closer to the light. I think it's safe to say that the Lemon AK flowers a bit earlier than the Gorilla Glue but the GG is now flowering nicely. Been thinking of putting a scrog net over them and I think I will do that tomorrow. As always any advice or tips on how to improve my grow is always welcome and appreciated. The Lemon AK is blooming nicely and starting to frost up a bit. Nice sturdy plants. The Gorilla Glue has exploded with growth this last week and flowers are starting to come along nicely. I've grown the Fast Buds g glue before and these are noticeably larger than my previous grow. Not complaining about it but I didn't expect them to get quite so big. lol The room in my tent is gonna be tight for sure. Next grow I think I'll just stick with one strain. 😉 Thanks for checking out my grow. 👍

Ladies are doing ok this week. Had a heat wave with high humidity here the last few days. Been struggling to keep temps and humidity down. My Lemon AK #2 has a tad of leaf curl along the serrations, but other than that I think all is well. The frost is building nicely and the Lemon AK is getting nice and sticky. My Gorilla Glue is still a bit behind on flowering but they are making good progress. Overall I'm happy with last weeks results. Thanks for checking out my grow! 👍

Now we wait while the ladies continue to put on weight and frost. Trichomes are all clear so probably another 2 weeks or so till I can think about the chop. The odor at this point is getting strong. Smells like skunky lemons with a hint of pine. I noticed lately some of my leaf tips are showing a bit of nutrient burn. It's hard sometimes to get that sweet spot dialed in but growth has been good. All in all though I'm satisfied with the girls progress. Thanks for checking out my grow!

Switched the girls over to A.N. Overdrive from Big Bud this week hoping to put on a little extra bud size and density. I'm starting to watch the trichomes closely now. So far I have mostly clear so I'll probably continue feeding this week and then begin to flush depending on how they progress. I'm thinking at least 2 weeks before I can begin to think about the chop. The smell in my tent is pretty strong now. The smell is best described as skunky lemons with a hint of pine. I have just a bit of light burn on my Gorilla Glue. They grew taller than the Lemon AK and light adjustment has been a bit of a challenge. I think with my setup I'll just do one strain at a time from now on. Live and learn right? Anyway, I'm happy as can be with my results and thanks for checking out my grow! 👍

It wont be long now! Seeing cloudy trichomes and an amber trichome here and there on the Lemon AK's. Started flushing last Wednesday and I'm thinking they will come down sometime around the 4th of July. What a great way to celebrate freedom! The Gorilla Glue is a few days behind as they have been the entire grow. Not seeing any amber at all on them yet but the trichomes are all mostly cloudy so I suspect it wont be much longer and I'll start seeing amber on them too. The smell of the mixture of both strains is almost intoxicating by itself. Not a flawless grow by any means as I have some nutrient and light burn but hell it coulda been much worse so I'm happy. I had hoped to be harvesting the Lemon Ak today or tomorrow but they just aren't quite where I want them yet. Really close though. Still not much amber showing but the fade is definitely in full swing. This is the hard part for me but I know waiting will pay off in the end. Going to continue flushing and just ride it out. The Gorilla glue is getting super frosty now and the buds are fattening up nicely. It's going to be a bit longer on them than the Lemon Ak. I harvested the Lemon Ak on the 8th of July. I'll be doing a harvest entry for those in the near future. The Gorilla Glue is right on the verge of being ready. Still flushing and watching trichomes. We have a forecast for near 100 degree days for about a week. Hopefully I can harvest before the extreme heat. My grow space is air conditioned but not sure my a.c. will keep up with temps that high. Lemon AK was a pleasure to grow. I had one plant out of the three that displayed a bit more more sativa characteristics. All three produced nice lemon scented frosty buds. I'd say overall this is an easy strain to grow and a good producer. The best part is the high. Definitely not a couch lock strain. It gets me motivated and ready to face whatever task is at hand and it even knocks back pain to manageable levels. If your looking for a good daytime strain I'd highly recommend giving Lemon AK a try!

Chopped these today. I trimmed the big fan leaves and hung them to dry. I'll do a follow up harvest post later. Happy with my results, sticky and smelly buds!
