Bushing out nicely the last few days. Really haven’t had to add nutrients. Ec has hung around 1. Also I think she smiled at me. They grow up so fast.

Really explosive growth lately. Still no sign of flower. Added almost no regular nutrients this week, but did add 12 ml of silica to a 3 gallon reservoir.

The stems on those big leaves seem kind of weak and in general as the grow out they seem to be drooping a bit like they can’t support the weight well. Does this look like a problem and if so any thoughts? I do have a couple of fans in the tent providing some circulation.

Hi @Fordprefect42 normally this only happens when the growth of the stalk is slower than the growth of the leaf, but with the right ventilation it ends up holding the leaves well. it seems to me that everything is fine with the plant and I don't think it will cause you any problems. good luck mate 👍

Started some mild LST to expose what is underneath the canopy. Let’s see how that goes. She’s starting to drink a lot more, and ec levels were dropping so added more nutes. Also I think the dog is jealous of the plant.

Changed the reservoir and accidentally pulled out some roots that had grown down into the pump input hose. Wasn’t really planning on an ad-hoc amputation. Hope that doesn’t hurt it too badly. New reservoir is moving more towards bloom nutrients but going to ease into it over the next few days. She’s also been drinking a lot and the humidity in the tent has been trending up. The dehumidifier I put in the room to counter that has been heating up the tent so I have been leaving the tent cracked open when the lights are on. Day 51: feel like I missed the boat on more pruning here. Will have to fix that next time. It looks like the plant just got out of bed and doesn’t own a comb. Mostly trying to move the leaves around to expose bud sites as much as I can Day 53: I think she might have a drinking problem. Chugged down well over a gallon today :) Staging an intervention. Day 56: It has come to our attention that there has been unauthorized stretching in the grow tent. Company policy clearly states plants must remain at least 20 inches from the lights. Violation of this policy will result disciplinary action up to and including early harvest. Thank you for your consideration Management

My mom was visiting and decided she needs a name. We let her name the plant Agnes but agreed her middle name could be clementine. Agnes sounds like an angry nun who hits your knuckles with a ruler so we are going to call her clementine around the house and treat her given name as more of a trivia question. Day 58: Clementine would like to thank her many fans as she takes the day off from her usual photo shoot for Memorial Day. Day 62: getting some trichomes now.

Getting what looks like some nutrient burn this week which seems weird because my ec was about 1.1 which is consistent with what I was running in veg (was actually as high as 1.2 in veg). Dropped it down to right around 1. Let’s see if that halts it. Day 68: trichomes still clear. Starting to see yellowing on some of the lower leaves.

Seeing chlorosis on the fan leaves and it’s accelerating, and the tip burn is getting worse despite easing off the ec to 1. The tip burn is alI over the plant.mI check the ec daily and finally got it in balance yesterday so that it was the same as the prior day. K deficiency?

if you just got it to an equillibrium you want again, give it a second to react to the new context. You have a thick canopy -- not a bad thing.. but, the plant may shed a few leaves occasionally. tips burned all over, but the chlorosis is minimal an dlower in canopy? K deficiency would have spots on the leaves with more advanced chlorosis. could be a p-tox, but again, would see spots at some point due to locking out Ca and Mg (their symptoms would be false, since it is readily available S tox has burnt tips but won't show chlorosis... so, i'd review labels of what you've been feeding and eliminate the 2 least likely possibilities.. or stick to a mild solution for a bit. I didn't do this math and didnt verify, but hte person he did would have been correctd by know in most cases. rounding to integer: N - 106 P - 92 K - 210 Ca - 95 S - 63 leaveing out the trace stuff... So, i doubt it is sulfur unless new growth yellows and older leaves viens yellow fro margins out. as i go back in diary, i see you used different concentrations / ratios.. so, the info i gave may not be relevant onthe ppms... you'll need to work that stuff out before you add or change anythign drastically... it'll be more certain that what you do is going to be helpful.

Had what looked like a serious problem at the end of the week where there was extremely fast yellowing of the fan leaves and burning, curling tips. Bud growth stopped. Smell vanished, and she stopped drinking. I believe this may have been significant salt building up in the medium. Ec on run off was much higher than the reservoir. Did a flush with sledge hammer and changed the reservoir yesterday with clean water. Today I added mild nutrients that brought the ec up to 0.658. I’ll ease it back up to .9 over the next day or two and see how things go. Seeing a bit of bud growth again and the smell is back. Day 77: seeing a little amber on the trichomes. Switched to plain water 3 days ago and planning to harvest tomorrow on day 78. May not get an enormous yield, but it’s been fun. Really excited to see how it smokes. Day 78: Harvested her today. Calling it 11 weeks even though technically it bled into 12. I’ll post back once she’s dried.

Didn’t take a wet weight. With buds currently drying I’ll report back in a week or so on the haul. Guessing a couple ounces which isn’t so bad for a first grow. No idea how it smokes yet obviously. Update: Harvest came out to 1.8 dry ounces. Smells great Update: broke down 2 days into cure and tried a bud. WOW! Almost no harshness and the stuff almost tastes like vanilla ice cream. Also knocked me on my butt. If this is what it’s like 2 days into cure I can’t imagine 2 weeks. Definitely want to grow this again, but want a non-auto.
