Hello, thank you for checking out my grow. This is my first time using soil as a medium, I have grown one other plant in coco and the results were great but this time around I want to do 4 plants and go organic. Both seeds are from Mephisto and the soil is Batmix special from House and Garden. Two at the front are FCxForumand the smaller ones are Deez Nugs both my Mephisto Genetics. I thought Id mix up some light mix and batmix special to see how two of them would start out. They have survived but slight burns can be seen and I probably won't be doing it in the future. The starter set of leaves on one of the Deez Nugs seem to be pointing straight up for some reason, almost like a banana, no difference in feed or light from the others. Struggling to keep humidity up, getting as low as 17% some days. I'm still a beginner and even more so I've made the move from coco to soil, any tips are appreciate, have a great week.

Decided to transplant early, was supposed to be taking one of my friends girls due to a security issue but it seems I was too late... Regardless they have all survived the early transplant, some slight drooping. Changed my light cycle to 20/4 and I think the sudden drop in temperature has stunted them a little, and the transplant probably has as well. Only time will tell. Slow growing will have to see at the end of the week. Potted up using Plant magic granuals a healthy dose, and some Ecothrive charge has been mixed in with the bat mix special. Hopefully not too hot for them. Will be giving a foliar feed of bio silicon once a week once they perk up. after transplant I gave them a good watering around the rootball and left the soil around it but that dried out surprisingly quick so I just watered the surrounding with a homemade rose spout and this is what I'm continuing to do. I cant do a wet/dry cycle till run off from the get go of a transplant in soil right? Surely they starve for oxygen? Some issues with one of the Fc x Forum starting to develop.

Some issues developing with the FCxForum strain, some brown markings on the leaves, no signs of this on the DeezNugs. I know the pics aren't great but anyone have any idea what they could be? I'm starting to think they are water splashes but one of the FC is drooping quite a lot.

A water drop burnt would have been different , and the burnt is clearly visible when it was caused by a water drop. 1st thing when you can see that kind of spots is to check under the leaves because it could be a bug hidding under ( in your case seems not to be but it's a free tips) In your case and with young plants like this could be anything , but i can see the edges of the leaves curling a bit up due to your extremly low humidity range as 30% is good for dryng maybe but not for growing a young seedling , at that stage you needs 70% at least so 40% more than your actual value which makes me say that is a combo between the low RH and the medium beeing pre enriched ( pre enriched medium can be hot for the young plants and create some excess before thet can recover , the distorded leaves is the 1st symptom )

Week 3 and the leaf curl still persists, I ordered a cheap humidifier but I think it's too cheap and it's barely getting over 50% RH in there but at least it's something I guess. Growth seems to be coming along fine minus the leaf curl on all of my plants now. The sad FC is still sad, and I'm starting to think she will never perk up. I just hope that the other girls don't follow in her direction... The light was raised the light this week and the feed is still water, they get a foliar feed of bio silicone once a week.

They are all being watered until runoff now its just I didn't want to swamp them early on as soil compacts a lot more than coco in my experience. The sad plant seems to be picking up slowly but surely, and overall it looks beautiful in my tent when I wake up and take a look. They have all started to show their sex now more or less and have started/are close to flowering so I'm going to keep the humidifier in their a few days longer as its already approaching the %60 with all the plant matter in there. Will bump up my extraction soon for this. Only thing bothering me is the leaf curl, I have raised my light again in the back of my mind I think it's something to do with that. When they are a little more along i'm going to fill the pots to the brim with more batmix and some eco thrive charge as a little boost see how long that lasts then once the soil gives out ( I have read the oomph lasts a few weeks into flower) I'll start on the fishmix and PM OT Bloom on very small doses if need it. They are stating to stretch now, I may put the scrog net down that came with my tent if they get any bigger, never done one before

Big defoliation to try and get some free space in there. As they switched to flower some slight burning in the leaves my guess is too much nitrogen in the soil burning them as they go into flower? One good watering with plain water then start on the biobizz fishmix and bloom. at 1ml and 2ml per litre. I decided to tie down some branches, as when they are more stiff and the buds start coming it will as be a little to close for my liking I want air to flow nicely through these girls because wow is it cramped in there I'll be honest I have ad the thought of maybe even donating one to a friend to free up some room. We will see how it goes.

All of my plants have started to burn yellow in colour when they switched to flower, they have also lost they lovely green colour and started to go lime. Too much nitrogren still in the soil? Or Just a deficiency? They have recently been fed 1ML fishmix and 2ML Bloom.

These girls are moving a long okay, they started a calmag def around 2 weeks ago but I just haven't had the money to purchase. For the time being I have been feeding with evian water for the Cal and mag in that, but that may have opened a whole new can of PH problems, still early days so only time will tell, they are still drinking at the same speed. I had a big defoliation last week, removing any leaves blocking bud sites or heavily affected by calmag def. Only one of the plants has a heavy smell, It's the Deez Nugs smelling like grapefruit, The genetic smells are finally coming through, hopefully the rest will follow suit as there is no smell from the Forum Cookie. They are week 3 in flower now, light is as high as it can go, not quite sure what day of flower.. They are still being fed the same in a larger amount. around 2.5/3litre. Currently 1ml fishmix and 3ml bloom. I have some topmax and calmag en route so they should perk up from a sip of that I hope.

2 of my plants smell great, their genetic smells are starting to come through but the other 2 still smell like plant matter, could this be an issue maybe linked to my calmag deficiency? or Is this the development of new phenotypes for these strains? thanks, sou

Pheno means same strain from a different plant. Usually from 10 of the same seeds you will get 3 different pheno types. The best strongest grower is the one you keep for your mother plant for your next grow. I got 4 different phenos from 10 seeds

The yellowing in my plants, what do you think it could be? Currently suffering from calmag def. Could that limit the uptake of nitrogen thus the yellowing? All information is in my diary.

They have really yellowed up this week but the buds have also grown in size. 1ML fishmix, 1ML top max, 2.5ML bloom with 1ML calmag. Really was hoping this would fix the issue and it seems they are getting worse but the buds are still fattening up. Going to continue the feed as normal and remove the calmag. They're always praying for light, already reduced my light from 24 to 20, cant dim the light, cannot move it any higher.

Comming to the end of this journey now, 2 are nearly ready. Aside from being over fed and sprouting a few foxtails due to the little heat wave we had, these girls seem to be coming along fine. One of the FCxforum I don't think will yield as much as the other 3, I can see it already the buds are not fattening like the others. Some nutrient lockout going on but I'm just going to keep feeding her and flush like the rest. I would say these 2 strains are quite simple to grow especially if you know what you're doing unlike myself 😅. I'm thinking maybe 1 or 2 more weeks and then the flush will begin maybe even earlier for the Deez Nugs, going to pull out the old loupe and have a look see.

Good week, one of the FC has been drinking ever so slow compared to the rest, and isn't fattening up like the others, she defo will not yield like the rest, always been unhappy that one. I flushed it with a weak feed of some bloom, topmax and algamic, will see if it will recover as it doesnt help me being heavy handed with the nutrients. The other are doing fine. The Deez Nuggs are only on topmax, bloom a little fishmix, they will be coming down in the next 2 weeks and the FC a week after, or maybe the other way around, not sure yet. The other FC is starting to develop a purple hue I wish I had a better camera to take some pics. Overall I'm chuffed and cant wait to take them down, now comes the next hurdle, drying and curing correctly.
