Story so far; 12/28/2017: Wasn't sure if my Girl Scout germinated properly since I didn't see a tail. Immediately placed her in a 3 gallon pot of Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil. She ended up popping out of the soil the next day. I've been keeping the grow room between 68 and 85 degrees. 12/31/2017: My source of light is a Sun System: Sun Light 125 Fluorescent Grown Light. Feliz: Felizlight 125 Watt Plant Growth Lamp. 6500 K Cool Spectrum for vegetative growing. 1/2/2018: Used 5mL of Flora (Micro/Gro/Bloom) each, mixed into 1 gallon of water with a pH balance of 5.7! Also added 4mL of Cal-Mag+ to gallon! Feeding 1 Liter of mixture into the 3 gallon soil. WARNING: 1/3/2018 Found signs of whiteflies inside grow tent! Went to my hydroponics store to get sticky traps. 1/5/2018: Switched light source from 24/0 to 18/6 to allow some resting at night. I will be updating every Saturday or Sunday depending on my availability. If i don't post anything over the weekend I will try and at least shoot for the following Monday. Thank you all for watching/reading! One Love.

STORY SO FAR: 1.8.2018: Began feeding 1 Liter of water for my 3 gallon pot. (If i should add less please feel free to correct the amount I should feed instead👌) During the day my grow tent was averaging 83 degrees / 55% humidity, and at night my grow tent was averaging 72 degrees / 34% humidity. NOTE: I'm actually growing in the corner of my garage in a tent I built myself. Not in a bedroom/closet. 1.9.2018: Now using "aggressive vegetative growth" nutrient balance shown on the Basic Applications Table located on the back of the GH Flora bottles. In 1 gallon of water I'm adding 3tsp FloraGro / 2tsp FloraMicro / 1tsp FloraBloom. Also, 4tsp CalMag +. 1.12.2018: Bought an adjustable harness to lower my lights and stop the plant from growing taller. My CFL is now 5 inches above the top of the plant. NOTE: Will be Topping this week to start growing her wide instead of tall. Still learning as I grow. Any tips/tricks would be much appreciated! 😁 Thank you for continuing in reading my story! Hope this helps. One Love!✋

STORY SO FAR: Regular feeding when soil dries up. 1L of water with nutrients. There are still flies inside the tent, so I've got more sticky paper traps around the plants. I planned on topping this week but completely forgot to do it. Probably going to buy more CFL bulbs to place around the plants, just to get more all-around coverage. That's about it for this week. Incredibly simple. Didn't have to do much👏 Thank you all for following. One Love!

STORY SO FAR. 1/23/2018: Topping method. Going to start making more branches. NOTE: Still using "Aggressive Grow" nutrient diet in 5.8 pH water with Cal-Mag+. NOTE: There aren't as many flies as last week, but still there nonetheless. Might be buying some bug killer juice soon. NOTE: Planning of adding more CFL bulbs around the Sun System once I can find some low price grow lights. Haven't done a lot. Watered twice this week.. trying to let the top of the soil dry up more to kill possible fly eggs in the soil. Seems to be working. Thank you all for following along! One Love! 👌😁

STORY SO FAR: 02/04/2018 - Began letting the soil dry up to try and kill off some gnats. This week I only fed her twice. 02/05/2018 - Girl Scout began to show some hairs, beginning her transition to bloom. **Today makes DAY 1 - Flower.** NOTE: Solution now changes to "transition to bloom" as shown on the back of the Flora series. 10ml of each Flora(Grow/Micro/Bloom) mixed in a 1 Gallon water. 02/05/2018 - Bought "Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew. by BONIDE" and added to my nutrients. There's a ready-to-use spray solution, and a concentrate. I much prefer the concentrate because you can continue to use it in the flowering stage with your water. Whereas the ready-to-use spray cannot be used during flower due to direct chemical contamination. 02/08/2018 - I have seen very little signs of gnats. Which tells me that both, drying the soil and using CJDB, helped with eliminating some of those pests. Thank you guys so much for following along with this journey!🙏 I'm open to any suggestions if you know faster ways to kill gnats 👌👻

NOTE: I haven't seen any gnats since 02/16 but I aint holding my breath anytime soon. I will still be using Captain Jacks to make sure they STAY AWAY. Thank you all for following along! One Love👌

Disregard all myths that have been proven to be BS regarding the flush. A ‘flush’ is only used to force a plant to go into shock which may or may not increase cannabinoid quantities. However given that a flush is done in the last week or two this is really meaningless as 1-2 weeks does not allow the cannabinoids to mature before harvest. The plant will also use up starches and sugars in remaining fan leaves only. NOT THE BUDS. THE BUDS ARE A SINK for all nutrients and will stay there permanently. This is scientifically proven. A flush is still good practice as it may or may not decrease harsh consumption from Chlorophyll in remaining sugar leaves if you happen to consume remaining on bud sites.

Yes but small amounts and only when plant is stretching, once buds are here you need to stop Nitrogen intakes. Congrats for this beautiful harvest!

Northeasternanswered grow question 7 years ago
Yes Nitrogen should be used through the flowering stage however low amounts. Excess nitrogen will cause more leaf growth on top of giving you dark green and clawing leaves. It is needed but mostly during the first few weeks after that its potassium and phosphorous for the most part with a tiny bit of nitrogen.

👽Definitely a strain I will be smoking before going to bed. It took 5 minutes to feel the effects of my high. Got really warm and fuzzy pretty quickly. I feel it more in my head and chest. Feels great 😁 My reaction time has slowed down a lot, so I won't be smoking this while I'm out and about. I even zoned out while I was typing this. Overall, I really love this strain and the feelings of bliss coming from my body. The taste was great and she smells very sweet. 2 thumbs up!!

Overall this strain was really easy to grow and fun to watch! For anyone that's a first time grower (or even experienced) this one is good enough for personal use. She handled the intense heat quite well! Never wilted even when it was 90 degrees in the tent. If I knew what I was doing from the very beginning I'm pretty sure I could've harvested more than 33 grams. I'm still incredibly happy with the outcome!

Your tap water should be around 200 ppms are so u need to get a ppm meter because if u mix your nutrients according to the directions u will burn them bad start off at a 1/3 always remember u have to count your waters ppm (TAP WATER) it will throw u off big time so 600 ppm is really 400 ppm nutrients 200 water if u use store bought say distilled it's 0 ppm so u would count all ppm's as nutrients 😧😧✌️✌️😴😴😴😴

@MUDBUG, great explanation. Also (bad experience) make sure if you’re using tap water you make sure and see if your water company uses chloramine. If they do you need a special filter because it will not evaporate out. EVER.

DeathCrusher92
DeathCrusher92commented7 years ago
@canngabis, No worries 😁 ok, so the bottle says you're suppose to use 1 tsp per 5 gallon. However I never used more than 1 gallon. So I had to do some math to find the right amount. 1 tsp = 5 mL. (that means 5 mL per 5 gallon). Since I use 1 gallon, that's only 1 mL. My plants only get 1/2 mL of Monster Bloom per feeding. It's really strong stuff, so too much will affect it. I hope this helped 👌 Feel free to message me if have more questions. If I can answer I'll do my best

@Beans, Aint no shame in that! I kept it cheap by making my own tents. Only putting money into my lights and nutrients.

@DeathCrusher92, I will do that. I'm having a blast so far! Always wanted to grow a plant or 2 for shits n gigs then thought....well it's legal now so why not? Got a little carried away with my set up. Was gonna keep it cheap and simple...that's not how I roll though. I either go all out or don't bother. I think I just said that to trick myself into pulling the trigger haha

@Beans, haha you're good man. I'm still learning myself 😅 Every day I learn something new that I can apply to my next grow. You'll get there brother 🙌 You can use my journal as reference to adjust your nute feedings or to make your own personal mix. Good luck on your grow! Let's make all rookies proud

18 in will probably still be ok but watch out for light stress reason being that as plants enter their main flowering phase where theyre making buds instead of just a few pistils they start to be sensitive to everything including more sensitive to light -- which seems to increase as the grow goes on. as they begin to finish they tend to require more distance from the light than they did earlier on in the flowering period. it's weird. looking dank af tho =)

Jaindohcommented7 years ago
@DeathCrusher92, hard to say; consult your light mfg's info but i do tend to do this as a precaution and when i forget to i always stress them -- this is happening on my current avt grow, its that easy it still happens to me XD

@Jaindoh, Thank you for the info!! 🙏 Should I just play it safe and raise the lights a little bit? I was originally thinking 20 inches...

Happy harvest =) Looked very potent, glad you enjoy it! Make sure that there's enough room in the jar for the buds to roll and all that, I've let more than one batch grow a bit of anaerobic bacteria =/

DeathCrusher92commented7 years ago
@Jaindoh, Picked up a larger jar. 67 humidpack to re-hydrate the harvest (she got too dry) and half the container is empty.

Looking good. Some real nice flowers there mate. Patience is a virtue when it comes to harvest time. Depending on your trichome colours (cloudy/amber ratio). Best advice I was given was, if it looks ready.. wait another week! No harm done and best of luck! 😎
DeathCrusher92
DeathCrusher92commented7 years ago
@Flavoursuk, much appreciated! 🙏 yeah the tricomes are half cloudy. I'm definitely going 1 more week for flushing (if I can, 2 weeks tops!) a lot of the leafs are still dark green so she's got plenty of nutes to drink up 😋
Athos
Athoscommentedweek 137 years ago
Looking good, how are the thricomes? Should be any day now right?
DeathCrusher92
DeathCrusher92commented7 years ago
@@Athos, Mostly cloudy. leafs are starting to yellow out, so I'm holding off for maybe 3 weeks tops😅 she's at day 50 into flower

@DeathCrusher92 your plants look beautiful and almost done? As for your gnat problem, I'm glad is not that bad, I think you are giving them too much water or most probably too often. Putting an inch or so of sand on top of your soil will prevent gnat from laying eggs. Just a simple method for a future grow.
DeathCrusher92
DeathCrusher92commented7 years ago
@@Athos, thank you! and yeah I'm thinking 4 weeks maybe 5 she'll be done 🙏 others on here have said the same thing, so sand will be next to buy on my list.
