Light water on Thursday and full water with nutrients on Sunday. We had great weather this week and saw some good growth.
I did notice some red spider mites on a plant or two. I made some silica/neem oil spray and it seems it all got taken care of with no damage done.
Going well so far - I bet one of them will start to flower soon.
I lost my labels early in the grow. 6 plants, 2 of each. I've paired them and know which two are the OG Kush. I think I've labeled the Jack and Bubble Gum correctly but could have them swapped. Anyone with an expert eye able to confirm based on these photos?
Sadly it will be almost impossible to tell with total accuracy. But from the bud structure that i'm seeing from pics online and from your photo's it looks like you got them marked right.. Bubblegum has that more bulb like bud structure.. Hope this helps friend! Happy growing! 👊
My OG Kush are ready! Trichomes are all cloudy with a good little of amber. Pistils are >70% brown and she looks nice. I watered this morning and the pot is still feeling heavy. Should I chop tomorrow morning or give it an extra dry out day? Does it matter? Anything else?
Hi
Since you've been feeding lightly the need to heavily flush goes down in my opinion. You already have a nice fade going on so I'd say if you haven't flushed, give them one or two good drenchings at least, and then chop them down. So if you only did the 1 gallon water today, go out there and dump another 2 in the pot...then wait 2 days and chop.
Happy harvesting.
i flushed and then added some Tiger Bloom to make up for a phosphorous deficiency. did i push another one into hermie status? i just tossed a hermie that was too tough to keep up with and had low growth. i'm hoping not to lose this one! what do you think - hermie or no?
Hello
I know hermies are a nightmare...but sometimes they're not as bad as you expect. I wouldn't throw this one out...it's got some beautiful buds growing and you will get some nice flower out of it...maybe a couple seeds too but eh that's ok. If you have other plants just move this one to the other side of the yard.👍
We're getting 14-15 hours of strong sunshine a day. Now that I'm late flower, should I move my autos into a spot that will get shade for half of the day? Seems like they may not need to be pounded by this much light/heat at this point and could use more down time.
Bud rot or normal purpling underneath? First grow and harvest and found some purple when cutting off the fan leaves before hanging to dry (going to dry trim). Anything I should be looking for in particular. I don't see any other signs of mold.
These lower branches are filling out with a ton of foliage but nothing exciting on my Jack hermie. Is it a waste of energy for the plant? Should I trim them? Cut these branches off? Let nature do its thing?
If it got pollinated by it's self.. the buds will stop growing. If the trichomes are showing the color's you want i'd just lop that hermie and call it done.. Hope this helps friend.. Happy growing! 👊
I'm early in the harvest window based on the trichomes (looks great!). There's a decent number of bananas coming through the buds. Are bananas at this stage THAT big of a deal? Let it mature more or chop it ASAP? Interested in your experiences with these. Thanks!
Depends how close you have other plants & if you want them seeded or not, I just had the same problem in my first run and I didn’t realize until almost harvest but the bud still smells & smokes amazing just a few seeds! I would just let her finish! Hope this helps friend & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱
Personally I wouldn't opt black bags outside, they heat up in the sun.
BTW, I hear it's best to roll the jiffy pods after hydrating to dry them out a bit, I'm still debating if I want to use them.
@Naturalist, definitely a great call. I'll see if they are different than the one light bag. Wish I had thought about that ahead of time. Appreciate that callout.
Man beautiful grow! I'm on my very first attempt at growing anything ever! Really could use any tips you might have! It's a Notorious T.H.C. From Humboldt Seed Company! Cheers and Happy Growing!!
