Squirrel_Master I've been looking forward to getting this one started! Soaked in 4ml/L Rhizotonic for 18 hours and transferred from glass to paper towel. I will update more over the next couple days as this one germinates and I get her in some coco.

Squirrel_Master Day 8 and all is well with the Pineapple Express. Watered today with a quarter strength nutrient mix and Rhizotonic. Lol, looks like any other 8 day old I've had, I love it once the first few weeks are over and the real growth starts.

Squirrel_Master This plant has had a rough couple days! I was installing a new fan in my tent and the cord dropped down and nearly ripped her right out of the coco. and then yesterday I dropped my hygrometer on it and nearly flattened her. Despite all that she is looking pretty good, maybe a little small for day 15... but I have hope I can turn this into a nice plant still. Bumped her up to roughly 3/4 strength nutes this week.

Squirrel_Master This girl was a little slow to get going, but seems she's on her way now. 7" of growth over the last week and responding well to the change in nutrients. We'll see what the next few weeks bring, but I think she's gonna produce just fine.

Squirrel_Master Wow, the week 6 stretch is on for sure... 13" over the last seven days, and I'd say most of that was over the last three or four days! She has just been exploding. Bud sites are noticeable and abundant. I'm really looking forward to the development over the next couple weeks.

Squirrel_Master Wow, 15" over the past seven days! I'm hoping she's just about done growing up and ready to focus on producing lots of fat, delicious bud meat. There are plenty of bud sites starting to blossom all over her now and I am noticing growth in them from day to day. Looking forward to watching this lovely lady blossom and mature!

Squirrel_Master Day 50 and looking good! She's a tall, lanky girl, but about to start filling in now. Lots of nice bud sites all over her... Probably going to need some support when the swelling starts. She has the tomato cage look due to being crammed in the tent with two other big girls, but I kinda like it. She'll be a looker in a couple weeks time. She might have a bit of light bleaching in the upper canopy due to her never ending stretch, but nothing serious. The lights are at a decent distance now but I can't go much higher so hopefully she's done growing upwards.

Squirrel_Master Wow, this one is really a joy to watch grow... I am more an more impressed with her by the day. Looks like she stopped growing upwards at 50" and has now shifted her energy to making that beautiful smelling bud meat. She is starting to take on a very tropical sweet smell, light and fruity. Needless to say I am super excited to see what the next couple weeks bring. No issues of any kind to report, increased the Terpinator a bit this week and that's about it.

Squirrel_Master The Pineapple Express is starting to fill in nicely. Looks like it may be getting a little too much light at the top, but there's not much I can do about it... my lights are as high as they will go in the tent. She seems quite healthy despite the light issue, so I'm not too worried. The main cola on this thing is becoming more impressive by the day! She also has a lot more tent space to stretch out in now as the Alien has been harvested. The tent just reeks of tropical goodness, I can't believe how strong the smell is getting! This is probably the best smelling plant I have ever grown, I hope I can get the finished product to taste like it smells right now.

Squirrel_Master Man, does this thing ever smell amazing! This is easily the best smelling plant I've ever grown. The colas are filling in a little slower than I'd like, but I'm hoping that changes a bit over the next week or so as she becomes fully mature. She's starting to show signs for sure... Starting to see an increase in brown pistils and the trichomes are a mix of clear to milky. I don't think this is going to be the monster I was hoping for, I should still get a respectable yield, but not the mutant killer cola I envisioned a couple weeks ago lol.

Pineapple Express Auto Fast Buds

My Pineapple Express got off to a bit of a slow start due to lack of direct light, but once the problem was solved she started to blow up. I love the structure of this plant!!, it reminded me of a pineapple for some reason with it's large main cola and the rest of the canopy pretty evenly laid out around 12" below it. The smell is divine! It had a very tropical, sweet scent to it about a week ago but has now changed a bit. It still has that sweetness to it, but it has also taken on what I think almost smells like piney diesel. The smell of this bud takes me back to a different time and place, it reminds me of something I had twenty or more years ago. We called it Lambsbread back then and it was considered a rare and special treat. I'm not sure if there is any genetic relation between these two strains somewhere down the line, but the smell is spot on. I am really looking forward to getting some more of this strain going. I think I may get one in my next rotation. I would recommend this strain for anybody looking for a low maintenance, nice yielding plant that produces top quality buds.

Squirrel_Master Overall, I'm very happy with the way this one has gone. She was a pleasure to grow from start to finish and has produced some amazingly smelly buds! I'm really looking forward to sampling a bit of this once it's dry, I hope the smell it has today translates into the smoke. It will surely be some of the nicest buds I have ever grown! I'll update with dry weights and smoke report in a few days, thanks for following along! Dry weight update: Ended up with just shy of 70 grams of some very tasty buds! I always have a hard time nailing the exact taste, but this one is definitely tropical mixed with something else like pine or some kind of herb. I must say, not only does it taste beautiful it's quite potent. I find it to be a very euphoric, spacey kinda high... very nice! I look forward to starting another one of these in the very near future!

@Tazard, I understand the principal, and hope it works out and produces much smelly bud for you. I, personally am a firm believer in not messing with auto's in any way that will take away from the small amount of production time they have. Some light defoliating is about all I'll do. This girl can hit the ceiling, I'll figure out a way to deal with it and let her go natural.

@Squirrel_Master, I’ve been using supercrop so what height she did gain I turned it into width. Mine was a mutant with 3 seed leaves, 3 first leaves and she has growth shoots at all of them so the shorter I make the top the more tops I have 🤔

@Tazard, I agree, I wish it was more like the size of my Gorilla Glue. 27"-30" and beefy.. we'll see how she produces soon enough. I'm confident I'll pull a couple ounces off her.
