Thursday April 16, day 1 Terple 3 Blue Dream, 1 Terple. Those are the next four plants for the grow. Day 4: I like to judge plants based in the shape of their first set of true leaves. This one has nice cute wide round leaves, tells me it'll be a nice heavy-hitting plant.

Very nice seed so far. Lots of times seedlings will complain about the low humidity where I live, but this seed looks great so far. Got four more seeds for the next grow too

D14: not as big as the biggest blue dream I've got going but bigger than the two others; totally a nice size so far. Light green colour, soft, rounded leaves. Nice indica hybrid it seems.

D22: heading out of town for the weekend so I filled the pots up with fresh soil, gave em a blast of water. They're looking good so far except one blue dream. D25: a couple are a little droopy from the fresh dirt, lots of water and brighter LEDs. They should bounce back by the end of the week.

D30: nice wide leaves. Dark green colour. Has recovered from the repotting and the topping last week with some nice new branches. I'm really excited to see how this one performs, it's been keeping up with the biggest blue dream with no issue so far. D33: trained it down this weekend. After it was pointing towards the light I picked a leaf that was covering some of the branches. Lots of wide leaves and short stems, I might have to turn my led panel down to force a little stretching.

D37: very short internodes, very wide leaves. Nice and indica. I had to turn my led panel dimmer down because I'm trying to stretch them a little. The growth is too dense right now. Trimmed some lower leaves that were messing up my training as well as a few side side branches that were starting to form to direct the growth in a more controlled way.

D42: growth is very dense, tight internode spacing. Even with the light dimmed this plant isn't stretching. May need to trim off some side branches to force it upwards before I top it again. Liking this indica a lot. D44: topped, repotted, trained, and trimmed yesterday. Evened out the canopy, exposed some more nodes.

D50: it's home has been repurposed as a drying tent for the foreseeable future, until all 4 plants are harvested and the next 4 go under the 1000w. They are on a storage rack with no climate control. Doing okay, nice and green and handling the lst alright. Will not be topping it again, just letting it grow upwards for a while. D54: gave them a feeding of some good strong organics, the whole shelf is looking nice even in the ghetto setup.

D63: noticed a bit slower growth. I think they have filled the next stage of pots already. Nice main colas, a relatively even canopy so far. D68: repotted D69: left for the weekend any they all looked pretty root bound when I got home. Repotted them and they're perking up already, but it'll take a few days to grow out of the yellowing.

Went away for a few days last week for fathers day and when I came home the plants were root bound. Transplanted them day 67/68, looking like they're recovering today. A little bit of nice praying. D71: opened it up a bit with some training. Picked off some leaves underneath that weren't getting light. Seeing some nice stretching under the HPS now already. I want to see some vertical height right now, considering a net. Recovered and pointed upwards in four hours. Real nice recovery can be seen in the differences between day 70 and day 73 pics

D77: installed the net. This one is much shorter than the three blue dreams it's being ran with. It probably won't fill much of the net tbh. Leaves a lovely green colour D80: even though it's shorter and more indica it's stretched to touch the net in three days.

D84: growing so much. I'm constantly picking the lockers leaves that are being shaded and making sure no suckers start growing. She's looking nice, her main colas are looking decent. I'm not gonna train her too much because she's not too stretchy and I don't want to mess up the structure right before flower. Should end up with a couple nice big colas. D90: the net is full I feel. They will be switched to flower very soon. Friday or Saturday. Only three days more of veg I think.

D91: nice plant. Very dark green, not much stretch on the main branches at all, but the side branches are stretchy AF. Kinda interesting. I don't really have it trained in the net because its stretching is limited, but I wish I could have because the stretchy side branches need some light. Really curious how she will react to flowering in four days. Will she stretch? Lots of popcorn on the lower branches? We'll have to see. D95: trimmed up to the net. All ready to flower in the next day or two.

F2: put into flowering yesterday and in one day they all flipped and started their stretch. This plant went from all dark green to some light green where it's growing. D107/F6: first week of flowering done. A bit of decent stretch and some bright new growth. Kind of overshadowed by the Blue Dreams in the tent, but I have a clone of this so if it turns out to be good cut in the end I'll grow a bigger version of it next run. I kind of like the side branch structure and how stretchy they were even before flipping. Makes me think just basic LST will be good for this strain, too short for the net

F8: lots of stretch in the first week of flower. Got some cute lil' buds forming already too. I've got a good feeling about this one. Flowers already remind me of the pineapple chunk I just grew which had wonderful resin glands and easy to trim nugs. Because it's been stretching I've been keeping the suckers and lowest bits all trimmed up. A little bit every couple days to prevent shock. I've been feeding every 2nd water with fish fertilizer and thrive bloom.

D15: doing great. Stretch is done, nice big buds for only day 14. Hoping it turns out to be a fast strain. I noticed last week that the preflowers are red! I tried to get a picture of them but it's not a vibrant as in person. Makes me think she'll have a nice finishing colour. Still feeding every second water and a bit of light defoliation every time. Picking lower leaves and suckers and that kind of thing.

F22: buds are growing quickly. Turning a cool shade of red as they swell. Smell is slightly fermented and sour like soya sauce. This plant is really going and will be crazy by day 60. F24: this plant has literally been unable to make two days without water. I've begun giving each plant water each day. Fertilizer every two or three days.

D35: strain is very fast not sure how soon harvest will be but it'll be around day 50 I'm assuming. Nice colours from the recent cool nights. Buds are nice and look very easy to trim. Comparable so far to a few of the other ones I've grown like the Big Kush.

F42: 6 weeks of flowering done, looking good entering week 7. Getting some cool nights for some nice colours. Noticed in the last couple days it's starting to swell up a bit. Basically into the final two weeks or so here. Nice, quick, and pretty.

Happy Harvest Day!

Good plant with beautiful red colours. Harvested at 10% amber based on the macro shots I took which was 50 days of flowering. Short and bushy plant in veg, with a lot of stretch in flower. Buds swell nice, and even though the colas don't end up super thick it's got that In House resin. --------------------------------------------------------- Drying took 9 days in 60-65*F temp, and the humidity was 60% for the first 6 days and down to 55% for the last few on the RH controller(Inkbird). Lovely smell. You can smell the tropicana cookies in this cut, a nice funky citrus with a hint of fruity or berry. Nice purple colours after drying, and a very easy trim. There is a LOT of resin on this plant, there was literally a pile when I was done trimming, and combined with the scissor hash gave a nice big, lemony ball of hash. The pictures of the bud couldn't even really show how purple the bud is because it was so shiny with resin. Ended up with 89g of all nice dense sticky buds which is less weight I usually get(~120g), but there was no popcorn buds left behind in the trim, all finishing super nice, which wicked resin content.. Even without curing it hit v. hard and a little less harsh than some others I've had freshly trimmed. I think after a few weeks in the jar it'll be even smoother, and hit like a truck. I'm super excited to see what the other 4 plants in this seed pack will look like if there is this much quality of this one!

Hey, how exactly this fish was made?
Psilocubensis
Psilocubensiscommented5 years ago
@ZalySk, I made it! 4 small fishs, whole fish, blended with 0.5 kilograms of bananas (for P and K), and 10ml of high concentration Liquid Bokashi. A lot of molasses, and a lot of seaweed. I hope to make around 3 liters of high concentration NPK solution to put on my super soil. Do you believe I can enrich how many liters with this solution? Like 100L? Thanks for the recipe!
ZalySk
ZalySkcommented5 years ago
@Psilocubensis, Peat is a carbon source. Saw dust, or sifted peat so it's nice and fine, like the coffee grounds and mixed 50/50. I only use the three fertilizers I listed above. banana, bone and fish, so I would mix those 3 up into a bottle of veg and a bottle of bloom. More fish for veg, more bone for flower. I have some organic bottled nutes but I don't really use them, only once after a transplant. My soil has everything plants need so I only feed maybe once every 4 or 6 waterings. Just water for weeks usually unless I see something amiss.

@ZalySk, Great combo! I was planning to make a line of fertilizer, organically! I also posted on question, but didn't appeared anyone who unlighted me... For N coffee ground is easy because it's all over my routine. For P I find easily bone meal, made from local chiken. I don't meat that much. For K Bananas peels are, although it shouldn't, trash in here, I save them and dry on sun. I bought some seeds of Suger beet, just like the one used on Biobizz, I hope they are true, and i'll try to make sugar beet molasses as fertilizer and test it compounds. Btw, why peat? I do use Kelp, which I buy a pound for 2 dolars, so cheap. They are full of hormones for the plants, I do suggest it over the weak and fully watered Seaweed Extract from these companies. Also green banana fluor is sold for 1 dolar per pound I believe. I always enter in health shoppings looking for amendments haha. If you were to make a fertilizer, 1 for veg, 1 for bloom, both complete, how would you make that?

@pinkthumb, I have a Nikon D3300 and just use the stock lens. 18-55mm focused as closed as I can and zoomed in. Set it up on a tripod take pictures at different focus with flash as close as you can. Took about 10 pictures and then stacked them in Photoshop. Photoshop has built-in stacking so its easy. Or else it's just my cellphone
