All good here. They seemed to be slowing down somewhat so I added a 15 30 15 fertilizer and it was a big boost.
I'm still not sure how much I should be pruning but am resolved to testing the theory that anything below flowering stalks can be removed then anything that looks weak or is blocking light. My method is not hurting anything but it may not yield as much since I keep removing fan leaves. Anything over a dry ounce per plant is an improvement over my last grow
We'll see.
In terms of watering, it's very hot and humid where I live. I've been watering about 5 pm and they're thriving. It's a good, slow, soak daily via a drip system. That may seem like a lot, but air pots and hot equal more watering. It is drying out between.
Pests are still not a big issue. Regarding smell, even with 5 plants, it does not permeate beyond about 5 feet. Though we do have a steady breeze that seems to disapate the smell.
If anyone else is growing outside, I'd love to hear from you or have you direct me to your diary.
I'll miss next week because I'm having a corneal transplant and will need a week before I can get out to do this again. Hubby will be tending the garden for a bit.
We're both hoping he doesn't kill anything. Hehe.
Does it seem like I'm ready to harvest? I'm looking for about 20-30% amber trichomes, but I don't want to lose growth potential either. This is an auto, probably Early Miss- week 13 from seed. They're bud pictures from an outdoor grow. TIA
@hannabis420, thanks. First grow outside. Still nervous I'll mess up over the next 3 or 4 weeks. Wasn't planning to grow photos, but am so glad I did. Hope yours are going well too.
@PotentiallyPotent, I wish I could remember. Haha. They got mixed up during the day and night rotation. When they're a little bigger I hope I can tell the difference. They all sorta look like White Widow to me because I'm a newbie.
@Mowiewowie, it's a USB microscope I bought on Amazon. I'm sure I didn't pay more than $30 for it. Once you download the software/app, it's point and click.
