Germinated just fine throwing it in a glass of tapwater. Never had an issue with this method. Never used a paper towel or cotton pads. Once germinated put it directly in big pot.
First of all, apologies for the abandonment of the last grow... Family matters first.
I'm happy to be able to share my next grow experience with you all. Staring this beautiful 4/20 day. The grow however started 10 days ago when I germinated a Barney's Farm CBD White shark seed. Just one seed and it germinated very healthy. A great start.
I planted the seedling in a Airpot 15l pot with Guanokalong soil. Always done it... Never burnt my babies.
She's 10 days old now and looking happy under a 110 watts Tneon CFL.

This girl is a strong one :) She grows steady, healthy and fairly easy so far. Biobizz Bio-Grow and CalMag from same brand all within the needed amounts. Watering every 3 days for now. She's happy with that.
Bushy dense nodes and fat healthy leaves, what more can you ask so early in the grow? Can't wait till she start showing buds :) But i will veg pretty long as I want her to scrog a bit.
The grow is going steady and good so far. What does worry me though are the fact she doesn't like heat much. Most leaf tips have claws. Also, I didn't switch the lights to 12/12 and I think I spotted a pistil or two. That's good and bad news... It's a female alright :) but... I think the strain does not like stressing too much either. I hope I'm wrong though. Would be disappointed if it affects yield in the end.
Another week of healthy growth. Main stem nice and strong. Here and there purple leaf stems, thinking Mg deficiency all though I provide every 3rd watering.
I added fish-mix, I always do the last two weeks of the grow. I'll give it 7 more days before I flip the switch to 12/12.
I think the images attached are self explanatory. This girl is growing strong. She needs more attention then the other ladies I grew in the past. Definitely not a beginners strain. I switched the light a 4 days ago. So day 4 of flowering. The fun begins now :)
Another week of good growth. I think. I don't like how the lower leaves are turning yellow already so early in the flowering period. I give it all she might need.
Another good week of steady grow. Still little worried by the yellowing this early in flowering. But I'll guess I have to see it through. The smell is getting little stronger. Early scents are pine, and musky smells.
I am not sure if this is one of my successful grows or not. It worries me the girl is showing this amount of yellowing this early in the grow.
Most likely it'll impact yield. I also don't know what's wrong. Nitrogen deficiency is unlikely as she's getting Bio-Grow every other watering. Overwatering also not likely, every other day. Top soil dry before I give water.
We'll see how this ends up @ harvest.
Wow what a strong weed. The yellowing stopped immediately after repotting and she wasn't stunted at all. I give her 3 liter water every other day. The temps are higher in this season I hope that will not be too much of an effect on yield.
Humidity is OK so mold should stay out too.

Back for the weekly update. This girl starts smelling just yummy. Nice scents of wood/pine, cheese and citrus, at least to my nostrils :)
Steady fattening no more growth, amber/milky on the sugar leaves but clear/milky on the buds/calyx. At least 10-14 more days is my guess. Exciting :)
Very thirsty last days, I will stop feeding in 5-7 days. It's been all organic feeding so no need for extreme flushing.

The growing journey for this strain is very very close. Amber trichomes also visible on the calyxes and the smell has matured quiet well too.
I gave her last watering now. I'll let the soil dry up good before I cut her down in 3-4 days. More amber works perfect for me as CBD and CBN is what I need more in potency.
So far great journey, can't wait for the chop and then let her mature in the jars waiting for her :)
Nice dense bud growth, although i abused during topping, the stems stayed strong.
The resin/trichome production on this strain is fabulous. Weird enough she is not very strong in smell. Good for stealth grows.
All in all, very good and easy grow. Be careful she roots much need a big pot :)
Very thirsty girl the last 3-4 weeks. I watered her 3 liters every other day.
I will update this once she dried up and jarred. Fingers crossed on the drying.
Update: Started curing after 5 days of drying/trimming. I have to wait to give a proper taste report, but so far: vaped a bit, still little grassy. But quite nice relaxation and even meditative. A little buzz caused by some percentage of THC, but definitely not at levela that causes any relevant high. Safe to use ANY time.
I do believe your plant could last 2 or 3 weeks more, the pistil weren't brown yet, neither the trichome were at it maximum potential. You could try to wait a bit more, even to see amber trichome to have another kind of trip... Just suggestions. But i'm curios about this strain, i hear a lot about shark, and i like the idea of cbd strain... how about the high?
@ChronicFinest, Great! Just a tip, leaves tend to develop trichome faster, always measure the flower.
I like the way cbd plants are spreading! THC supremacy must be over!! hahaha

@Psilocubensis, you may be right. Trichomes were amber, even dark brown here and there. Pistils were brown for more then 75%. Next run I'll try. Although the effects are as I hoped they'd be. Gentle stone, high focus, relaxing and calming head effects. The taste is still developing. But pine and cheese hints are definitely there.

I am thinking on buying Attis 200W but I am not sure if it will be too big for my tent. Can you tell me your tent size?
My tent is 60x60cm, the light, if I am not wrong, is 50x50 and I don't wanna have problems like tent burnt or too much heat.
Another and last question, Why do you have a distance between light and plant of 20cm?? Is not too close? Or have you change the light power with the dimmer?

@M_Littlefield, my tent is 2x2 as well. Fits perfectly :) And this light is of quality build and puts almost no heat of. You still need a decent fan and exhaust.
Buy a hooked (L shape) power cord.
Yeah there is a dimmer on. It was a little too close maybe. Especially now, bit of stretching since 12/12.
Other then that, it's a crazy good lighting unit.
OK I think the cause was she is rootbound. I pulled her out of the pot and saw roots everywhere. I know repotting this late in flowering is not handy, but I thought she'll not make it till harvest so I put her in a larger pot. Hope she won't shock and be happier in the new pot.
PS: The lighting so far: The Attis 200W from Lumatek is doing a very good job. I really can see the difference between this unit and my previous led kit, Mars II 900W. That one gave up on me in a year by the way.
