CalMag PPM @ 200. / Friday 16/02/2018 - Fed as normal. / Saturday 17/02/2018 - Fed BioGrow and BioFish @ 05.ml each / Sunday 18/02/2018 - Foliage feed: 1ml BioFish, 100ppm CalMag, 0.1ml Fulvic Acid, 0.1ml Amino Mix, 0.1ml Humix Mix, 1ml Kelp + Left over doses of nutes Acquired Amnesia Lemon plant from a friend+moved the choc haze clone outside Spotted leaves that were eaten, any guess as to what it might be? Some leaves appear dried and potentially dehydration from too much wind from fan. / Monday 19/02/2018 - Fed BioGrow and BioFish @ 05.ml each / Added Fulvic Acid @ 0.1ml Run-off PH @ 6.9 Run-off ppm @ 700 Nute Correction / Tuesday 20/02/2018 - Run-off PH @ 6.6, leaves are looking dry and curling upward on some plants. Also leaves appear to be very dark. As well as some dark patches appearing underneath some leaves. Can't find any solution online. Is this normal? / Wednesday 21/02/2018 - Fed BioGrow and BioFish @ 05.ml each / Added Fulvic Acid @ 0.1ml, I think I found the reason why some of my leaves are twisting and aren't looking healthy. I found a source stating that it's due to unhealthy roots from overwatering. I also spotted some light mould on the surface of the coco/perlite. Not sure what to do from here on out, maybe get a dehumidifier? Humidity at 57%. / Thursday 22/02/2018 - Transplanted into the fabric pots at 12:10AM. Was impatient 😂 Found the roots sticking out and bunching up in their original pots. Now im hoping they grow faster. Just ran out of coco so need to fetch more for one last plant. Also set up the 400W MH unit and have switched the lighting cycle to 18/6 for week 4. Foliage feed: 1ml BioFish, 100ppm CalMag, 0.1ml Fulvic Acid, 0.1ml Amino Mix, 0.1ml Humix Mix, 1ml Kelp

You’re overfeeding your plants, particularly too much Cal Mag . The Purpling comes from the Mag excess and the weird spots are Cal deficiency, when there is too much Mag the plant can’t absorb the Cal... Take it easy on the Cal Mag, once every 2 weeks is plenty enough in soil. Try to follow a Feed Water Water Water Feed Water W W F ... schedule and everything will go right.

Have one plant where leaves have rusty spots and turning yellow. Uploaded 3 pics labelled: "Friday - Mag deficient?". What's strange is that none of other plants have this problem and I've been feeding them all exactly the same thing, in the same quantities. Is it Mag deficient?

Guys , its lockout , the difference between lockout and deficiencies is that adding more nutrients does not help lockout , it makes it worse .

This grow is in the cellar. Tent flaps open to avoid heat increase. Lights on 9pm-9am. Sometimes I dont wake up in time to close tent. There is a bit of light that reaches into the cellar, equivalent to a full moon in brightness. Would this light be an issue to the plants?

This may disturb their cycle and generate stress / slow flowering. The ideal situation would be a constant airflow in/out without sunlight penetration. Good luck with these chocolatey beauties, the finish line is near!

Any way to prevent bud rot apart from dropping RH? 6 weeks into flower and RH lights off has been 80-90% for 12h every day. Is there a possibility that my whole crop has already been infected? Got a dehumidifier, but I'm worried that i'm too late. Thoughts?😰

Even if you have high humidity, that doesn't mean you have bud rot; remember that it is a type of fungus and if your plants have not come in contact with the spores, then there's no infection. My lights off period when on 12/12 usually have high humidity like yours, but haven't had bud rot so far. There's quite a few things that you can do, prevention wise: 1- Increase air circulation. 2-Defoliate: prevent those bunch of leaves one on top of each other, besides with less foliage: less transpiration, so less humidity. 3- water less: humidity rises because plant transpire most of the water they drink, so if you restrict the water, the humidity will lower.

Your CXB Led might be too powerful, this is why the plants are smaller, they get miniaturized , back up the ramp further up and they will start to grow again. Ho, by the way, watering your plants every day isn’t really recommended in soil, you shall let the soil dry just a bit between watering. Hopefully for you your diary is accurate and makes it easier to spot what’s going wrong. Happy Growing 😉

@JUNGLE_B4RNS, Hi! I'm just starting with cxb 3095 3500k. Could you please recomend me a propper distance between my cobs and my plants?
Dabout
Daboutcommented7 years ago
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, Its coco, a soiless mix so yes you should be watering each day. Coco and a dripper system works wonders. Also coco shouldn't dry out.
ThatGuyWhoFishes
ThatGuyWhoFishescommented7 years ago
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, It is so much better! The plants under the COBs are so compact, it's so satisfying. Maybe it's just my untrained eye, but I counted 25+ colas on just one plant under the COBs that are exposed to light and can shoot up nicely. Maybe I'm just getting too excited 😬😄

A couple of questions: 1. Is that plain coco, or a mixture of coco / perlite ? 2. How much run off are you allowing each time? 3. What is the pH and EC of the run off? 4. What water source are you using? And what is it's EC? 5. That temperature you post is that an average or is it taken at canopy level?
Athos
Athoscommented7 years ago
@@ThatGuyWhoFishes, before adding more, flush, meassure runoff EC and dial backup the feeding to 1.0 EC

@@Athos, Thank you so much for your help. I have raised the COBs to 50cm above the plants. Hopefully that makes a nice difference. Will also move the thermo to canopy height. I think the one plant has a Mag deficiency since all the other plants I have seen online, show the exact same symptoms. The yellowing and rusty spots. I will try some epsom salts and hopefully will take care of the problem. Thank you so much! 😁
Athos
Athoscommented7 years ago
@@@ThatGuyWhoFishes,ok, so it's very likely, as I posted as an answer, heat stress with salt build up, flush and please take the EC of the runoff) and increase light distance or increase your exhaust power. Now that I think about it, you added a powerful light worth 800 watts, without considering that you had to exhaust the added heat.

You are juggling a lot plates! I'd like to see this grow through to the end. I'll following along. There is a lot of knowledge out there. I'm sure any questions you might have can be answered. I'll give you bad advice if you need it.

I feel your pain on the humidity issues. Even though it was really rough to afford, I spent $300 on a 317 watt, 400 sq foot dehumidifier. Has been much better since. Either way your yield should be really really good and I am looking forward to seeing you have a happy harvest =)

@@ThatGuyWhoFishes, TBH I'm an intermediate-at-best grower, and it's putting these things into words like this that shores up all of my beginner skills. Remember that when you're intermediate and want to improve =) The trick is being able to curate who to read and not (Yes: Grow Weed Easy No: Any Forum). Just keep on reading. Then when youre looking at your grow, trying to figure out whats causing what, how to improve etc, you have a basic toolkit for interpretation.

Hey dude, really nice setup and you're doing great fyft. All I would say if you want to have the canopy flat as possible you have to keep the main stem tied lower than the next highest stretching branch this will maintain the even growth of the other branches.✌️🏻️

@@ThatGuyWhoFishes, When LSTing, I use forceps (hemostat), onto the tips of which I shrunk electrical wrap. The wrap cushions the branches from the serrated teeth. Needle nose pliers work also. Gently squeeze where you want to bend and release, then rotate the clamp 90o and give another gentle squeeze. The branch should droop easily.

i had RH issues too up to 79%. i bit the bullet and got a dehumidifier no problems now 40-50-60% whatever i want. if you get one try and get one with a drainage hose unless you want to forever be emptying the tank. best of luck they look awesome👍

ThatGuyWhoFishescommented7 years ago
@CapitanKush, Yes thankfully I managed to get one with a drainage hose but it was slightly too late for the one plant. Had to chop down about 5 colas so far. Hopefully no more. I really need these girls to ready up to harvest so I don't stress out even more 😬
JUNGLE_B4RNS
JUNGLE_B4RNScommentedweek 157 years ago
When you grow big crops , you must have a dehumidifier with a kompressor and you must be able to keep RH around 35-40%. By the end of flowering I pour out about 15l every day from the 2 dehumidifier.
JUNGLE_B4RNS
JUNGLE_B4RNScommented7 years ago
@@ThatGuyWhoFishes,yeah I know what it is and I know what’s your feeling. As I said raise your pH to 7.8 first. Then you can spread your buds delicately to check the inside and to let the air coming inside. You can try to plug off the lil sugar leaves, if it plugs off easily ain’t no good, check the lil stem on that sugar leaves if it isn’t rotten. If the sugar leaves on the buds hold thighs it’s good , it means it isn’t rotten inside the bud.
ThatGuyWhoFishes
ThatGuyWhoFishescommented7 years ago
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, That's a hell of a lot of water! I'm just stressing so much right now. Got the dehumidifier running 24/7, but I really hope that it isn't too late and the rot hasn't started from the inside already. Very stressed😞

There is no point to me answering your question as Athos hit on all of the points I would have pointed out the lights too close over heating the leaf tissue(like a magnifying glass) causing too many nutes to be drawn up the plant giving you burn symptoms.
