These plants are from seeds i got from an earlier grow with Black Mamba and Fruity pebbles in the tent.. Black Mamba ended up being a male, which pollinated the Fruity pebbles, but lost power for 3 days and such and when the power was on again and such i saw bud sites, so i decided to just go into flower, ripped out Black Mamba and in the end without any further training i ended with about 2 1/4 oz of flower with about 30 seeds. In any event, lets see what happens together with this brand new strain.. we will see how stable i can get this over time.
Had to adjust the Nutrient levels, did not realize how it was measured until i saw the graph and such.
Well here we start Grow week 3, and we are almost ready for the first topping.. i think i will wait a few days to see a little more growth before i do end up topping the first of 2 times. I will edit this week when that step is complete. For this week i will use same nute solution as Grow Week 2 start.
I did the first topping today and defoliation.
Things are going great so far. the plant on the right is still going a little faster than the one on the left, however they are both still going good so far. i can't complain.
doing some lst also during this week to spread them out a bit.
Ok, this will be the last time i will top the plants. from here on out only lst with the assitance of some trellis netting. Sadly i forgot to take pictures before i cleaned this up and got it ready for the rest of the grow.
Things are going great.. leaves are looking good. both are pretty close together with regards to size, right plant still a bit stronger than left, but both are doing great.. I am not going to do any training yet, will let them grow out a bit more, perhaps mid-week some maintenance may be required. Today we start transition so, the bloom light switch has been activated.
These plants are going great so far. The left plant i cleaned leaving only the top 2 layers of vegitation, whereas the right plant i left the top 3 layers of vegitation. i would like to see which one turns out better overall. so far it is working great though.
The plant is growing well, the temp has been a bit high, so they have been drinking a lot of water, however they both still look very good. I am not going to do any other training until they are all through the first net, which i expect should be by the end of the week.
Things are going great. I will keep the light closer to the plants going forward as it does not appear to be too strong for the plant . Both are Females so that is a very good thing. In a few days i may clean it up a bit.
Well More important than anything else.... these plants are growing great. based on the spacing between nodes i am going to change the distance from the light for all grows going forward. I am also getting a bit frustrated with the quality of pictures from my cell phone, so i will start using my DSLR starting next week. its been gathering dust for a bit.. let's see how it performs when i start snapping with that.😎
As i see these flowers start to develop and all looking nice and round which makes me feel like these are going to be some big and hopefully dense flowers. Only time will tell. And these babies deserve more than the pictures that come from this cell phone.. i may go out tomorrow to take pics with my DSLR..
I enjoy growing strains i have not yet grown, however this was my first grow of a seed that i grew, so it was quite nice that the first 2 seeds ended up being female. it grew quite nicely and if only i had the proper distance from the light to plant during the entire process i would have had a better overall experience, however i can't complain, the end product was still very good.
