Planted 2 seeds only one showing up. Same grow conditions. Warming the grow bed from underneath. Maybe the other slower seed with germ to just later. If not a have a few more. Starting by placing them inside the ace hydro system. My grow media is perlite. I use this because I feel it works for me. Try it some time. I woke to find a seedling 🌱 above ground the other is on the way. Added nutrients today. The Wholly Makrel is really spicy and a little fishy. Not bad for indoors. Better than that other 💩that smells up the place. After juggling the seedlings to get the root just right I applied a moss barrier. This cut humidity quite a bit.

Yes it is happening all the time ! Generally between 24 to 72h of difference is no big deal but sometimes it can be longer.

Both seeds looking good. Just letting it do it’s thing. I’ve repositioned the seedling to mirror the other plant. Hopefully they will meet somewhere in the middle. Going to be doing some LST. It didn’t need any nute solution because it’s not big enough to change the ppm.

Week 3 day 14. Growing two plants same kind. Big one and small one. Started low stress training. Using root execelurator gold by H&G. Also using an air stone that’s running all the time in the substrate. I also installed the extraction fan in the attic with carbon filter mounted.

This Pink Kush is starting to show more vigorous growth. Filling out as well. Continuing with the low stress training. Not much of a problem for my hydro system. They’re drinking about a gallon a week. The bottom branches are starting to grow upwards at this time.

Ok so another week with clearly an afgani princess 👸🏼 getting her stretch on. Last week I added some kelp and now really see it this week. This is good imho because of being an auto they tend to stay a bit more stubby instead of lenky. She’s also showing signs of purple 💜 right in the flower which she’s already showing pistles. She’s looks like she wants to go into flower. It’s only day 29. So I’m going to work this line I think for a bit.

I’ve been seeing pre flowers and showing sex early in Veg cycle. What does this mean? Unstable genetics? If so how do you fix it?

Hi there.. it's an autoflower which means that after around 4 or so weeks it will automatically start flowering, even when you don't switch to a 12/12 light cycle. That's perfectly normal, and expected behavior, because this is why the traits of the ruderalis strain was breeded in. There is no "fixing" this, as there's nothing wrong. Even with photoperiodic strains, the preflowering would probably appear around this time, which show you the sex of the plant, as it matures, but then you'd just not flip it to 12/12 for keeping it in the veg phase. Autoflowers (as the name implies) start flowering automatically, even without the flip of the light. Best advice now: Keep on growing, get ready for the early-bloom stretch and once that stretch is over, switch to bloom nutes (don't switch now, else she might not get sufficient nitrogen for the bloom stretch). happy growing!

She drank allot of water this week. The fan leaves got pretty big. Ive been training the top down with LST instead of roping and losing the growth. I did defoliate the first 3/4 inches from the main stalk to increase airflow.

Temps were perfect this week. Ever since I started ventilated the tent into the attic crawl space. Added 80 more watts of LED. The legs on this plant are growing out nicely. Balance is good. Purple color is real dark wow. Added dry nutrients to the reservoir this time. Fox farm - Open sesame Added liquid Fish sh!t Fish head farms

Would you say that purple plants like cooler temps?

The purple lineage does tolerate lower temps... but I would say theres slower growth to lower temps. Less productivity to resin production and flower mass as the plant battles to keep core temps up. I'd recommend dropping the temps in late bloom like the last 2 weeks, but not the longevity of the grow.

It was a good week, temps were pretty even it’s coming up nicely. Still flowering under 24 hours of light in this week I added 250 watts of hps. Got a great deal on a dimmable ballast set up. Added some beastie Blooms from Fox Farm dry nutrients. I’ve also been adding the fish shit on the weekends as a booster top feed.

It was a really hot week outside and inside. I added more wattage in the form of an hps. So I’ve been working on the distance relative to the heat that this light puts out. Still I wanted add color and bud structure. Both improved over the week. These buds are big and sticky. The smell range from skunk to sweet floral gasoline.

It’s been a good week of bud growth. I started turning up the dial to 400watts over night when the temps start to lower. I did add an hps to add color and wattage to the grow and not break the bank. So far it’s paying off. With allot of heat I’m keeping my eye on the water levels. Refilling as needed.

Last week Was week 10. Temperatures were hovering around 84 because I decided to increase the intensity of the HPS bulb. The resulting high temperatures and dry air attracted a little bit of spider mites. Immediately turn down the H ID light and reinstalled some LED Cobb lights. I’ve been keeping temperatures around 80 and below to reduce the breeding of the spider mites I’m really close to harvest. Don’t wanna lose the struggle. I am playing around with a cooler drying technique seems to be nice I’ll let you know how it goes. I am playing around with a cooler drying technique seems to be nice I’ll let you know how it goes.

So we are in the middle of week 12. Flowers have produced and are pretty much finished I’m just letting it sit and soak all I’ve been doing is feeding it more water gallons and drinking probably from evaporation cutting back the watering schedule. This is been a pleasure to watch flower and grow. In the earlier seedling stage she was a bit delicate and there was a little cupping to the leaves but that ironed out later on. She started showing flowers or a pre-sex real early but then just started filling out Calyx on top of calyx. Flower flower flower. This was a strain that I wanted to grow as long as possible we’re gonna be going into week 13 so I decided to cut her down branch by branch. I’m going to be doing a cold drying process that I’ve been experimenting with. It’s where I will place it in a cool and preferably low humidity area. I have a cooler that has a small heater air conditioner installed into it. I will keep the flowers that are drying half the time in the cooler and half of the time at room temperature so that way we retain maximum Terps.
