marihoochi Taking care and paying attention to the VPD where the leaf temp is 2 degrees or so cooler than room temp. I've noticed a real difference; they look happy and healthy. They are 31 days old from planting and am wonderring if I should turn them; ceilings are 8'. I'm wondering why the petioles and the internodes are reddish colour is this a deficiency? Watching plants for weird looking stuff. Feeding once a week and foliar spraying pro-silicate once a week. Using amounts listed on bottles or a little less. Only spraying within 20 minutes of lights going out. Using a sprayer that allows you to spray upside down and has a very fine mist . Also wondering if I should use a surfactant in the spray bottle and if so would sunflower lecithin work for cannabis? Just started using a light rail with 2 sf4000, I will be adding another light shortly. Fimmed the wedding cake twice. 2 weeks apart.. Only fimmed the others once. I think it's coming along ok, I' do alot of reading to try to make the girls their best. It sure is a learning curve! We're all trying to grow our own medicine. Happy, healthy growing and smoking!

Is sunflower lechithin a good sufactant for cannabis? Mixing it in with your foliar spray? Is it time to turn to 12/12?

maybe it is, but sufactants are unnecessary additions to the foliar spray because the leafs are already at 80%+ nutrient uptake efficiency meaning less is more in the spray in any case. You're more likely to burn the plant than help it by cramming much more through those leaves . spraying is a good idea though, i do it even through most of flowering if i'm feeling brave/confident lol . You're absolutely ready to flip, keep her in veg another 3 weeks if you want to maximise her potential though.... Hope this helps ! 🚀

marihoochi I inflicted nitrogen toxicity to plants during 2nd week of flower; GSC not only had the claw but also leaf edge and tip burn. Nobody was happy nor look healthy. Different strains took it to different degrees of hurt but all seemed affected.

marihoochi June 6 was the 23rd day in flower, plants were a little under watered and showing it so watered with about 7L each until I got about 20% runoff. PH'd water to 5.8. Runoff PH was 6.0. Wedding cake did not do well with nitrogen toxicity with edges and tips burning.

marihoochi June 24th = 41st day in flower or week 6 of flower period. I can just start to see a little white frosting but I am hoping that they will develop much more. The smell is a little increased and releases more when brushed up against . They are 50" high and I am running out of head space.
