Starting this strain in a 300ml pot with biobizz light mix on 24/0 light until the flowering tent is free.(in about 2 weeks), Then will be transplanted on 16 or 20 L pot.
Out of 5 strains that were put to germinate she is the one that developed best so far even though the HR levels were not ideal as they have started in a tent with late stage flowering autos and most of them had struggled breaking their helmet. But not this one! this one goes strong from the beginning 💪💪
ph 6 tap water was fed until end of the week.
I managed to find a little space with a 135w led for a couple of weeks until the tent that will end up is free.
Conditions are better from the first week. Now it gets 4 hours rest and humidity lvls are 65-80.
1 ml / L of Atami root stimulator, bioheaven and biogrow was added to the feed.
Also foliar with fishmix and active Vera was applied Midweek.
This week the lady has been moved to the tent that will end the cycle.
Has not been growing super fast but is not doing bad either.
Will be transplanted into the final pot in the end of the week.
Feed remained the same and another foliar with vera and fishmix will be applied.
This week lady was transplanted into 15L fabric pot.
Soil is a 70% biobizz lightmix / 20% coco coir and 10% perlite.
Since transplanted I ve seen noticable growth while was not doing much the days before.
Growth rate is good for this girl but even though I lowered the main top and exposed most side branches they do grow very slow. Last week before switching to 12/12. Hopefully they get to grow a bit quicker or I might have to chop a couple of them.
Start of week 6. This lady going well and healthy but her side branches didnt grow much. A couple of leaves were cut but there was no need for further defoliation.
Lights are now switched to 12/12 and later in the week will switch to flowering nutrients as well.
After about a week of 12/12 branches have stretched a bit and bud sites are being formed already. It is the tallest plant in the tent but the side branches are not developing great.
Temp is still high this week. It gets up to 31 on peak when lights on. Side branches are short but there are not any huge leaves covering them so defoliation was not necessary so far.
Temp was still high this week but no signs of stress. Flowering goes fast and buds are fattening up nicely. Top bud also is getting a bit yellowish.
In the middle of the week nutrients dose was increased to 3ml each and 2 ml of top max per L.
Temp was the same this week too. Not much to report for this week. Well adopted to nutrients increase and buds are getting a nice colour. It has been going fast and harvest should not be many weeks away.
Apart of increasing the dose of topmax to 4ml/L there was no much to report for this week until the last day of the week.
There was an accident with a frozen bottle that is placed next to the fan to blow some cold air in the tent. It fell down and the fan was hitting the queen straight and made her bent a lot to the side. I hope she didnt get stressed 😒. Now she is tied to a reed.
Some big leaves from the top were removed to expose all the canopy for the last weeks. Few more feeds with nutrients next week and will be on the way to flush and chop 🙌
Lady has been flushed in the beggining of this week. Trichomes are cloudy but you can hardly find any amber. And they are super long as well. Buds are looking ready with 90% of the pistils being orange and turning inside the bud. No new pistils were noticed last week so it will get the full week to dry nicely and then get chopped.
On day 96 first ambers were spotted and soil is almost dry. Going to be ready for chop in 2 days.
After few months of curing when I open the jar it smells like sweet orange and herbs. After every puff when smoking your mouth gets full of tastes and you can feel its potency. It is really strong stuff.. Every time I smoke it first thing I am looking for is the couch 😁
This was a grow with not much time to take the care she deserved. It was planned to flower in the middle of the summer with very high temp and it was known that not much could be done to regulate it.
Veg
First week conditions were not great with low humidity and it didnt grow as fast it would in better conditions.
Apart of the first week she did grow fast in the next weeks of veg. In first weeks noticed that it was really apical dominant and even though I tried to lower the main stem the side branches didnt get much grow so it was let loose. It did adapt well to any nutrients feed was applied and it didnt show any signs of defficiencies or efficiencies.
Flowering
Flowering started well. Buds were forming rapidly and it seem to adapt well to nutrients that was fed. No signs of defficiencies or efficiencies during the whole cycle. Middle to late flowering temp was really high with peaks reaching to 32-33c and 26-27 with light off but there were no signs of heat stress. Happy with the ressistance in warm climate of this strain.
Harvest
on day 100 got chopped and wet trimmed bud weight was 125g.
Now drying on 55-60% RH and 25-27c
More details will be updated once dried.
Total dry weight is 31g(7g pop corn).
Congratulations on the new baby. She looks good at first. Choose a good variety. For a treat. Keep doing what you are doing and have the growing ganja gods protect your women until the growth is complete.
