First of all this was a minimum effort growing cycle. Time was the enemy as there wasnt much to get the care they deserved. Its flowering cycle was destined to be in the middle of the mediteranean hot summer and it was known that there was no easy solution to prevent high temps during flowering.
Veg
First week was not great for them as the environment was quite dry and they could have done really better in better conditions.
From week 2 to week 5 where the conditions were better they did great and they grown vigorously. They have shown no issues and appeared to adapt easily to the nutrients were used.
Flowering
Early flowering temp was not really high reaching 29-30 at peak. Everything seem to be going great and ladies were forming buds rapidily. It was around middle to end of flowering when temp got high and at peaks was reaching 32-33 and 25-27 with lights off. Even though they didnt seem to be bothered much. They did the whole cycle with no signs of heat stress. Big ups to this strain for its performance in such warm condition.👌They adapted really well to the nutrients that were fed in flowering too.
Harvest
Both plants were cut and trimmed and the total wet weight was 330( #1 180 #2 150)
All was going great in the harvest until the time of the last top of #2 to be cut and trimmed. Lower piece of the main bud was started to develop mold and I had to cut all the affected part. It ruined a bit of the main bud but damage was not significant. I checked all the other buds after I discovered this and everything was ok thankfully.
This is all me as due to high temp I left the RH to 60% and the lack of effort on training the branches so they are not stuck in the main stem.
After drying for 5 days they are finaly ready for jar. Total weight from both plants is 70g(15g pop corn).
Run a little experiment with the cuttings I got before lights were switched off. I planted 3 cuttings into 300 ml pots(2 survived). 1 was in soil and the other in coco coir without using any rooting gel. They were placed in tent in 12/12 from the beggining and once they got rooted they started flowering. Today they got chopped and I can tell the one in coco coir did better. The buds are pretty much same size but the one in coco is definitely denser. It was the first time tried to make use of the cuttings and I am happy wiyh the result considering I didnt do anything apart of planting them.
