I started this plant on 12-14-17 using the paper towel method. In 48 hours had two nice tap roots coming from two seeds. Planted both in fox farm soil. One came up and the other didnt. After a couple weeks transplanted into a 5 gallon bag container using Fox Farm soil. Had a nice root network from the cup. This is now week three and she is growing nicely.
This is my first autofem and so far she is plug and play easy. Lights are on a 24hr schedule. Was going to switch to 18/6 but she is doing fine with the lights on full time. Buds are starting to form and she is going strong without changing the light schedule. Within the next few weeks will need some minor trimming on the lower vegetation yet for now letting her grow and see what she does on her own.
This is turning out to be the easiest plant ever to grow. Water it and forget it and it keeps growing and looking better and better. Buds are forming and plant is looking beautiful.
Due to freezing here and not having water inside this week skipped giving her nutrients. Usually Friday night I give my plants nutrients and the rest of the week straight water. When we get water back will give her a good feeding with Fox Farm nutrients.
Been a hard week on this little girl. Lost water for 5 days so she got bottles water for a few days and it was cold. One night we lost power and tent was down in the 50's. Then found the tallest cola growing into the light and looked burnt. Ended up putting in the trellis. Also trimmed a lot of the lower foliage from her.
All in all looks like she came thru the week strong. The buds are starting to look beautiful. This is the last week using Beastie Bloomz and next week will start her on ChaChing to help those buds get good and sappy.
My White Widow girl is looking good. Started her on Cha Ching this week. I figure probably three more weeks and she will be ready to harvest. Hope to see the buds fattening up this week.
Started a second White Widow seed this week. Timing it so when one plant is harvested the second plant will be going into flowering.
After 5 weeks into flowering she is really looking good. Have some leaves yellowing a bit but the plant is nearing the end of her life cycle so I think thats going to be normal. I stopped all nutes except some cha ching to help the buds get sticky with resin. Looking at it with a 60X glass the trichones look clear still so figure a couple more weeks which looks about average for this strain.
I got a new 600W grow light for my big tent and moved the 480W light I have into this tent. Also started a new White Widow seed. If I am timing it right this auto seedling will be ready to go into the flowering stretch around the same time that I harvest the older plant.
The larger leaves are all yellowing and dying out. She is in her final stage of life and in a week to 10 days she is coming down. Buds are fattening nicely but they dont seem to be making a lot of resin yet. They dont feel sticky at all when handling them. Not many trichones when looking with a 60X glass but what I see is still clearish, First time growing this strain so maybe thats normal for them,
Crop king says it is an 8 week plant. Hard to say what that will be for an auto fem but I figure 3 weeks veg and 6 weeks flowering. Not sure if she will make it another 2 weeks.
Good week for my girl. I am learning the hardest part of a grow is waiting those last few weeks :P
She been getting one to two quarts of water a day and had cha ching a few times and now she is only getting a little bud candy with her water. The buds are thick and dense. Gonna be a good crop :) All the upper leaves are about died out and am waiting for the trichones to turn a bit amber. Cut one of the smaller buds today and seen a couple amber trichones on it but that is the first of any I seen so far. Hopefully this week will start seeing a few more and can harvest her. I germinated the seeds on 12 -14. Figuring three weeks of veg would make this about 7 weeks in flowering and a few days. CKS says 8 weeks so they are about on the money.
Bad problem with tent temperature this week. Tent made it to 92 one day. Rearranged a few things and started opening the tent and having a small fan blow air into it and it helped a lot. Dropped my temp dow to 75 around the plant and mid 80s in the upper part of the tent. This summer will have to shut down any growing for a few months during the worst part of the summer I think.
My girl is coming down. The pics of the trichones I took using a magnifyer for my phone I found on ebay. Less than $10. 60X-100X Mini Zoom Clip Phone LED Digital Camera Microscope Lens Loupe Magnifier.
So far only the main cola been cut down. Cutting the rest as I go. The dry weight of the buds from the main branch came in at 33.58 grams. I am hoping to get 200 grams dry weight from her but think that might be wishful thinking. Has an excellent stoning buzz that turns into a great high. I will post the final weight when i can.
Started another white widow auto plant and its going into flowering already. Using General Organics feed this time with Real Growers Recharge to compare the two grows. Same tent and light as this plant so should be a good experiment.
With Crop King seeds, all I can say is they are great. Thier site didnt want to take my debit card and one of the girls that works there was very helpful getting my order thru. Then it was quick shipping. I bought 5 seeds, they sent me 7 every time. No complaints at all with them and I have and will continue to buy from Crop King Seeds.
Update 3-8-2018
Harvested the last of the buds today. After trimming ended up with 114 grams which should dry to around 35 to 40 grams. Already have 75 grams dry and in glass jars. I am expecting close to 4 oz total.
I did a cost estimate/yield for this grow. On average a 1/8 bag goes for around $40 or more around here. Four oz is 32 1/8 bags or @ $1280 to buy. The grow set up was pretty much already paid for from past grows. My expenses was a new 600W LED light, @ $300, grow bag and soil, @ $50 and nutrients for another @ $50. The seed Was @ $10. Cost around $410. That leaves me with an $870 saving from buying my weed on the streets. I love that!
Have another White Widow grow started but this one is being done differently. The lights will be run 16/8 instead of 24 hours a day like this grow was. Nutrients are General Organics with Real Growers Recharge. This will be an experiment with the goal of hitting that 200 gram grow from one plant. CKS claims the plant will produce 400 grams indoors.

Final tally is 114 grams dried buds. Not bad for a plant that was pretty much fed and left alone. :)
Every grow I try to learn something new. I am still very new at growing and its a lot different than when I was a kid 30 years ago. This grow has taught me that it is normal for the leaves to yellow and fall off at the end of the grow. The plant is telling you that she is entering the final stage of her life. My last grow I freaked out and harvested a plant to early from this. When the fan leaves started yellowing and falling off I didnt freak out this time but instead I researched and with lots of gooling and reading I learned that its natural for this to happen. :)
@Excalibur, buds are nice and dense and sticky. Still have that hayish smell and taste but as they cure it will improve. The buzz from them is outstanding. Couple tokes off a bowl will give a good stone for about an hour that turns into a good high for a long while.
Looks great! I took a chance with CKS after lots of research on where to buy and they definitely didn’t disappoint. I also got 7 instead of 5 which is nice.. that’s lots of extra weed if you get em all to germ, which I have so far! I’m currently growing their Purple Kush and Super Silver Haze and I can’t wait for them to finish! I just ordered their CB Dutch Treat as well. None of which have a grow on here so I get to be a guinea pig. I’m sure I’ll order more soon enough, there are many that I wanna try. White widow is definitely one I’m just not sold on auto strains.
@no1ramsfan, this is the first auto I ever grown and I like it. No screwing around with light schedule makes it nice and I kept the girl lighted 24/7. Totally sold on them now. Have another white widow auto already started and I ordered some Northern light autos and today I put one germinated seed in soil so hopefully in a couple days I will see it sprouted and growing.
Also have some Crown Royale fem seeds from CKS that I will be growing in my second tent soon and some Regular blueberry and Purple Kush that I want to try out. Going to be following your Purple Kush grow :)
There is not many CKS grows going on. Best of luck with the rest of this grow chopdoc.
I also have a CKS NL grow going on and they are at week 3-4 of flower. I water with AN Nutrients every 36-48hrs. Using 1/3 to 1/2 strength.
Your wW looks great for using so much less Nutrients. Will def see how it all ends up and adjust accordingly.
Trichomes coming in the next week 👍🏻
@JusGrowIt88, my last grow my oldest plant was badly damaged with nute burn. Ever since then all my grows get nutes once a week and plain water the rest of the week. This is the first full grow on that style and it seems to be working well for me.
I liked growing Northern Lights. Was my first grow in over 30 years :)
This is a KILLER looking grow. I see some experience shining through here. Nice job! I see we are both utilizing the 24/0 light schedule with our autoflowers. Not many of us do this beginning to end of grow. I am attempting my first "topless" SCROG (trying to bend instead) with 6 different strains right now. It would be cool if you would like/follow along and make a suggestion or two. - Zannabis7
