I was able too produce tight little frosty buds this time. I’ve had an early sample of the widow. It is smooth enough, given the flush and trim it had. They are sweet lightly mango fragrant. They are also stronger this time.
I got 4 ounces off the biggest widow. 2 ounces each off the other two widows and 2 again off the gorilla. The sugar leaves came in at an ounce. That is 11 up from 8.4.
The dry gorilla buds are still a bit fluffy like last time. The widows liked the scrogging much more and stretched over the gorilla. The widow buds are mostly small and firm and still smell lightly of mango. It’s all jarred and curing.
Scrogging definitely made a big improvement given my small setup. Next time i might try two big containers, or one giant one maybe. I probably pushed the nutes a bit too far. The flush run off was almost 2000ppm. But the ratio of good nugs to larf was much higher this time.
The thing I need to really step up next time is lights. My 300w blurple mars hydro has been a good start. But the unbranded “600w” white led is not very bright at all. The uvb lamp probably added to the potency. But i think I’ll set up a new flowering tent with a much better 600w high end led lamp. I’m sure i could draw air through both with the same extractor fan.
Gotta pack it all away for a while now. I probably won’t be able to start again till September. Hopefully that s Christmas. I’m going to miss it.
@Garreweedlover, I’ve only grown autos so far. I’m planning on doing two 4 foot square tents next time. One will probably continue to be autos while i learn to grow photoperiods.
