Acquired this 2 week old clone of Charlotte's Angel. I intend to grow it outside when the weather becomes suitable. In the mean time. I will try to keep it alive. The usual free from frost date here in Atlantic Canada is June 15th. It is 6 weeks from now. A lot can go wrong for me in 6 weeks, especially with my tendency to over watering. Using a 24W LED and natural light at this stage.

Re-potted into dry soil because of my bad habit of over watering. I almost killed my last plant by over-watering.

Plant grew 5 inches this week. Perhaps the grow light was to high. It is just an inch away from the top leaves. I will soon have a stronger light when another plant finishes flowering. Topped in order to have more branches.

Plant grew another 3 inches this week. I have opened window to allow cool night-air to harden plant for eventual move outdoors. Lolly-pop defoliation of lower leaves done this week as well as topping.

Outdoor temperatures have been quite cool at night this spring. Frost most nights with sunny days. Finally it has rained to end a very dry spring. I would like to get my 3 Doctor Seedman and 1 Charlotte's Angle outside soon. I have opened the window they sit beside to get the plants to harden up for transplanting. Charlotte grew another 3 inches this week. All 4 plants are in need of transplanting into the ground. Even though I work at a hardware store, one type of store that is considered essential during the Covid 19 restrictions, I have found it hard to get gardening supplies.

While the plant did not grow taller this week, it did bulk up with more leaves. As the room is not heated night time temperatures were low. I was trying to get the plant accustomed to outdoor conditions. The plants are now pot-bound. I would love to get them transplanted outdoors, but we are still having frost at night. I have added more light with a LED grow light equivalent to 600 watts.

The weather has finally improved. While last week had nights with frost, this week has day time temperatures above 30 C. I have been setting my 4 clones outside for a few hours each day to get accustomed to the heat and direct sunlight. Became nervous about planting them outside to soon because on the first day of setting plants outside I sun-burnt my lettuce and cucumber plants. After a few days of hardening off I now believe I am ready to transplant into the garden today. The plants drank a lot of water this week due to the heat and wind. Plus they have really overgrown the pots. Most water given was without nutrients.

Plant has been outside for a week now and has not been rained on once. The window in picture is to give some protection from the prevailing wind. It has had some yellow bottom leaves so I will give it a higher nitrogen fertilizer tomorrow.

It has finally rained enough to give the plants a good soaking. Plants still have a few yellow bottom leaves. I expect that the roots have not grown into the soil very much in the past 2 weeks. I have changed to a water soluble garden fertilizer that has a high nitrogen content. I hope it helps. The plants have produced healthy new growth on top.

Very hot week with a couple of days up to 30 C. There was some rain, with humidity very high every day, The mornings were foggy with a lot of dew. I watered with nutrient solution twice after soil testing for moisture content. I have a tendency to over water, so have to be cautious. Did a little topping to encourage bushy plants.

This week I amused myself with a $5.00 soil test kit. For my outdoor soil the kit gave the result of PH = 6, nitrogen = medium, phosphorous = high, potash = low. I put a sprinkle of diatomaceous earth on the leaves because there was a little bit of bug damage. I added a few more stakes to train the plant to spread its branches wider allowing more light to reach center of the plant. Changed to a new home gardener water soluble fertilizer. Miracle Gro, Plant Food 18-24-16. According to the soil test it would have way more phosphorous than is needed.

Another very hot and humid week on the East Coast. We have not received much rain, which makes the lawn grass half dead. The plant is growing thicker and I continue to train branches to the outside of the plant. I have been adding fertilized water as the sky is not providing enough moisture. A friend is growing the same variety (strain) and tells me his CBD plants are into week 3 of flowering. I wonder how he is making that happen. His plants are much larger (5 feet) as he started much earlier in a grow tent. My plant is a clone from his.

Ye,s it was another dry week. Watering with the Advanced Nutrients Grow only to raise the Potash level in my soil. Plant grew taller this week and has begun to flower. I was surprised as I had though that all, but Auto-flower cannabis plant, had to have less than 12 hours of sunlight to begin flowering. Not complaining as I am now hoping the buds will be ready for harvest early. I want to miss the season that the thieves will be creeping around looking for plants to steal. Trimmed leaves and removed some branches close to the ground.

As it has not rained in more than 2 weeks, Monday, I gave all 4 of my plants a deep watering, 1 Charlotte's Angle and 3 Doctor Seedman. I ran the water onto base of each plant from the hose for about 15 minutes each. Then did my normal watering of 5 liters of fertilized water every second day. Spent an hour picking off some yellowing leaves and large fan leaves. I lollypop trimmed the lower leaves where only tinny buds would have grown. I hope that will encourage the plant energy to be used to produce larger buds at top of branches.

It was another dry week. Soaked the plants heavily twice during the week. Used up the last of my Rose Plant Food 18-24-16. I did a lot of defoliation and trained branches away from the center of the plant. The flowers are continuing to develop.

Finally it rained. Changed fertilizer yet again. With all the off work people busy with gardening this year, the hardware store keeps running out of fertilizer. I picked one with high potassium and low phosphorus. My soil tested very high in phosphorus and low in potassium. The night time temperature in getting low. Surprisingly low after such a hot summer suddenly it is Fall. Charlotte's Angel keeps producing buds and looking healthy.

Rained lightly twice this week, so I only watered 2 times with a Miracle-Gro nutrients. Nights are cooling off and there is a lot of dew in the mornings.

Only light rain this week, so I watered. We had our first frost hense the blankets. I inserted some steel poles to help keep the blankets from braking any branches. Ferterilized only once this week as I now intend to stop adding any nutrients. The sign is meant to educate any thieves. I had a plant stolen last year. Perhaps if they arrive again this year, they will not be worth stealing. The thieves would not get a high from these plants.

No rain this week, the only natural moisture is from the morning dew. I watered the plants every second day. We had three frosty mornings and I was covering the plants most nights. Stopped giving nutrients last week.

September 27, I am still able to keep the plant outdoors due to warm day time temperature. I cover plants in evenings. I have been harvesting from 1 of my Doctor Sandman plants over the week. We had a big storm on September 22 and 23. It was very windy with lots of rain. I did not have to water. I trimmed large leaves early in the week in the hopes of reducing wind damage from the predicated storm. It worked. I also had many of the heavier branches supported on poles. Very happy with the size of the buds.

It was a very warm week. We had the warmest days ever recorded in Atlantic Canada. There was a wee bit of rain, with lots of dew in the mornings. No frost. I began harvesting my Doctor Seedman plants, which were grown with the Charlotte's Angel. Seedman plant #1 dry weight buds weighed 342 grams (12 ounces), Seedman plant #2 yield 412 grams(14ounces) and Seedman plant #3 yield 381 grams (13.4 ounces).

Happy Harvest Day!

While I am not an inexperienced grower, I have to say this plant produced the largest harvest and the stickiest buds I have ever seen.😀 I had to spend quite a bit of time cleaning scissors and hands. I had to scrub the floors because every place the plants touched became sticky. I very happy that none of my plants were stolen this year. Perhaps the thief from last year read the signs I had made that had "THC 0%, CBD 10%". In the past, I have heard growers from my area of Canada brag about getting a pound per plant. Now I have reached that milestone with this Charlette's Angel.

Harvested October 4. It took me 14 hours to wet trim all the buds. I arranged the buds on window screens in the basement. I had two fans and a dehumidifier running. Humidity on screens started at 69% while the dehumidifier is set at 53%
