bagseed candy kush (coffeeshop bag)

Hi everyone, some tme ago i found some seeds in a bag of weed bought at the local weedshop. I will try my own version/style of LST this time keeping my fingers crossed... bagseed... so many risks LoL I use Hy-pro feeding, no nutrient problems so far. And in later stages i throw in all kinds of supplementary nutrients, some mineral, some bio. As we buy in legal stores since ages here, our quality standards are quite high, so when i do this at home i try to achieve that quality, it isn't difficult to surpass the quality. So,, lets hope for the best, Game On

I broke one branch while moving the stems around. Hope i didn't screw up, She still looks beautifull to me. LST is turning out very nice for me as it looks.

Looks like this bagseed sapling turns out to be a girl, such happyness :) Today i spotted the first signs of female bloom, a few blooming hairs. This girl is going towards her puberty, so no touching for nobody yet, and you can only watch when she's dressed with some good nutrients. She behaves very well in it and likes getting trained using LST. Even when i broke off one branch 😀

Last week i had small problem with light, i left 'm on and fell asleep so maybe it vegged a little more then wanted but, not dissapointing now the LST looks like there are a couple of clones on the sides of the pot i removed some smaller growth to leave some space, as time progresses i will remove more

I did made some new diy lights 1cree 40 watt, driven at 30 and an epistar, also driven at 30. She's developing nicely, a bit slower than hoped, but so far so good. I flushed with water and molasse 3 days ago, next feeding round tomorrow perhaps i'l move to an ec of 1.7 (with use of extra pk)

The bagseed is doing ok :) i didn't raise the ec yet, same as last week 1.6 ec after mixing the ec was higher, so i added some water to lower it. The buds are taking shape slowly, but it looks very nice. I think this is one of the slowest hybrids on the planet :) but that is no problem, i tasted this before and couldn't identify it by the taste, long long time ago i smoked a strain named victory, a "roja" type weed, it had just about the same taste but was much stronger and more intense. The victory strain btw was ready in 6 weeks bloom back in the days that i had clones of that strain (20+ years ago)

I'm flabbergasted, the flowering is speeding up a bit. i think it's a hybrid and not sativa (bagseed ;)) when rubbing the bud, the smell is so sweet, a bit like some kind of lemonade without the molasses the ec was at 1.8, i took the back of a fork and scooped some mollasses with it, and stirred and shaked it in. i measured again, the ec was 2.1 the ec seems high, but plants from seed kan take a lot of nutrients, and, you shouldn't measure after adding boosters. the mollasse i use is good quality blackstrap molasse, it stimulates the soil in different ways, enzym, bacteria and nutrient levels and gives the nice sugar boost (?!) -edit - next week bacteria from fishmix (very low dosage)

LoL, a little bit of burning on the edges of the leaves, not too much to worry about Progress looks very good Her bud is growing slowly, but dense I made the feeding with just a bit more than 1 L, about 1.25L the molasses is not measured, i just took the back of a spoon and dipped it, and stirred it into the watering. Do keep in mind that i'm only using about 80 watts of light (cob led).

Last week i received my new ph meter and came to the conclusion that my ph paper wasn't good anymore the last watering was ph5, probably for longer period that's where the burning's coming from so, it looks like near finishing, so only water from now on, with a little high ph to compensate the ph in the soil. All looks well, a whole bunch of tiny buds and looks very nice she also has a small baby, which seems to have rooted, if she does well she will get a seperate diary --update i pushed a stck into a ready to harvest bud to boost trichome production --update2 i identified this as candy kush i see larger trichomes within a day after mutulating ths stem of that bud

finishing up nicely bud is becoming more dense every day very very nice smell/aroma smell is a bit weak for such strong smoke smell is awesome very very sweet -Take a look at baby bagseed, the others didn't make it, only this one, with her freaky way of growing. I know she's not a heavy yielder, but the smoke is awesome and freaky kind of sweet weed. --4th day of the week, at the end of the day i will put her in complete darkness for some time, maybe one, maybe two days, after that i will cut her in pieces. i see traces of trips, but it's more likely to be these agressive gnats on lower leaves, luckily the buds are a bit higher. I will try to make some decent pictures of her takedown

Today i took her down cut her in pieces put her on the scale, wet weight was around 110G and i've been cutting some before this. So I am happy for now, i used very little light for it and she looked very good the smell is very impressive, it smells so weet, almost non ganja like

The start of my LST looked strange and not so nice, but it was well worth the wait, when she matured she branched out very well, and formed many many tiny buds, if i had used stronger light ofcourse these would be fat. I tried to find a strain that grows a bit the same like mine, i was ucky to found the kosher kush her on GD, that gave me a bit of a cheatsheet. The harvested weight was a bit low, there was another 20 grams of dry stem, only 1 gram of popcorn and 40 grams of bud (after cutting it to buds that have bag appeal). I let the plant dry out before harvest and put her in the dark for 2 days, when i do this with kush strains i don't loose much weight in the drying process, the 110 gram wet weight was measured on the 3d day after harvest, it was probably a lot more. The smoke is an awesome expierience, while crumbling the weed you notice the trichome covered calyxes with their distinctive candy-like smell, this is the same sweet taste you expierince while smoking it.
