Used seed in glass of water to germinate, it popped after 3 days in the soil.
This is my first grow so I’m keeping it small as I get a feel for it. Any tips or observations would be greatly appreciated!
Had a little problem with the soil being too hot, did a flush and it started bouncing back just hours later!
Just giving it clean PHd water until the beginning of week 4, then I’m going to start introducing some nutrients.
Nothing special about this week, just leaving it be until the 4th or 5th week when I’ll start feeding.
I’m holding off since I started off in some fox farms that ended up causing nitrogen problems. I just want to let it run through what’s in the soil before adding anything new.
First transplant this week, everything is looking good. I had a huge jump in growth after I moved them so i am going to start giving full feedings going forward.
This was a big week, I topped and started LST on Wednesday. She’s been responding really well, and has been growing new sites like crazy.
Going to stick to just a single topping with heavy LST for this girl, the topping made her almost unmanageably bushy.
Tons of growth this week, final transplant really got her moving. Working on getting the humidity under control before switching to flowering. She’s about as big as I want her so I’m going to flip to flower sometime this week.
Big week! I started flowering and everything is going great. They have been absolutely flying in terms of new growth, so I’ve been keeping busy with defoliation. Going to try and add some close up shots later when I have a magnifying glass.
She’s doing great! She’s been stretching but has definitely stayed manageable. I’ve done some mild defoliation this week, but I had her very well cleaned up going into flower so it’s been very small amounts removed.
White widow (or at least these genetics) can 8-9 week flowering time so I’m still in the beginning, but I think it’ll be well worth it!
Another easy week! She finally stopped stretching and I have already noticed the buds gaining some weight. I think I should have done a little more aggressive defoliation, but I think I may just leave her be at this point.
Is it too late to remove the lower fan leaves/side shoots when I’m going into week 4? She’s really dense and bushy and was hoping to thin her out. I should have been more aggressive at the beginning, but I wanted to see if I can still remove much material this late in the game.
Okay this is a really weird question that lots of new folks ask.. And what I like to say is that you can remove a lot of defoliation in flower.. The amount that is required to stress it into veg.. Is substantial. There is also a relationship between foliage and nuggets. But generally speaking at this late into flower.. I would just leave it.. Your not gonna change the way the plant has grown so now it's basically all up to what light is where and how much there is. Flowering is wait and see lol.. Check your plant lots but also wait and see.
She’s going strong! Haven’t had to do much of anything other than feed her this week, mostly worked in getting the tent dialed in.
Added an A/C unit to help keep temps down since we just got hit by a huge heat wave here.
Other than that it’s just been business as usual!
I am wondering if anyone could help me figure out what is going on here. She’s been healthy all grow, but in the last week has started showing the weird yellowing/browning on a few leaves. The temps, nutes and light haven’t changed really. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

I think you should slow down your nut....
I got a tip from another grower of this website that solved my problem.
-Flush them once with pure water
-Feed them with 50% less nutrient and see of it gets better :) if yes keep the same amount of nutrients.
