Since the start it was rough, so leaves yellow-ish instead of dark green. Light bleaching probably, my lower leaves are much darker.. Anyway, other than that it looks to be coming good enough.
I absolutely love the smell of this plant. The leaves, the stem, and the flowers are all amazing. What a strong plant too, never showed any concern-able sign of nutrient overdose that I could see. I have already cloned it and would be getting more seeds to discover other phenotypes. Pretty short and squat plant, with slight stretch in flowering. Good strong but yet still manipulate-able stalks.
Hope it's a purple one, maybe to early to tell.
Neighbouring plants include HSO Sour Diesel #2, 710 Genetics Mango, Barney's Shiskaberry
Very superior genetics here from HSO!!
Day 30, Week 5 day 2
Made some observations at this point
[Chocolate Mint OG] I've noticed some purpling on the leaves as of today. Not sure if that's some kind of nutrient burn, deficiency of just the genetics showing through at this time. There is some brownish edging on the fan leave blades too, and into the teeth on the blade leaves. The night temperature is about 20-22c right now, day temp varies between 26-30c. The smell on this plant is quite unique and interesting already, with a very deep complex profile.
[Sour Diesel #2] This looks like its going to have some huge colas. The smell is actually sweet right now, not sure if that's how it goes, but nothing sour about it.
[Shiskaberry] A deep berry scent is beginning to happen on this one, one of the frostiest right now.
[710 Mango] The most branchy plant, it grew like a shrub that edward scissor hand could mold. Smell is nice too, but not as deep as any of the others.
[RQS Critical] This looks to be a frosty, with still completely dark green leaves and bushy growth.
[Glookies] The biggest plant, and most strechy and lanky, but also really frosty and nice smelling. Smells like butter toffee cookie.
[Green Crack] Right now, could be the least frosty, but seems like it could put on some serious speed soon, this one seems to have a deep soury scent.
[Blue Dream] If the fan leaves have that frost, what would the buds look like? Huge milky white and thick pistils on this, with a really really nice cinnamon fruit loop lavender smell. Damn.
There could be some seeds on some plants, i've noticed some really swolen bud sites on a few of my plants here and there including 2 confirmed seeds on the RQS Critical. The buds nice and tight and sticky on all plants at this time.
All images shot with Galaxy S10.
Day 59 of flowering. You could smell the word *sooness*
All sttains seem to exhibit some color change or leaf pattern change at this time of week 9.
With the artificially induced cold nights as low as 18c on nights.
Cmog...Burgundy and purple.
Green crack. And glookies.. metallic purple
Blue Dream...red
Sour diesel and 710 mango bronzed.
Shiskaberry, lsd, critical ....slight purple or black on leaves...and showed almost no significant color change so far.
Not any yellowing so far on some strains like shiskaberry lsd and critical all afghan indica types though.
Looking to run them nicely.
My favorite by looks and smell
Cmog
All the Humboldt strains are super dank.
Barney farm also has some killer danks.
710 genetic somango looks impressive too.
Even royal queen seed critical is frosty.
Its a grow and learn session. Mistakes are made notes are taken and the correct procedures carried out next time!
For instance I had light stressed top leaves.
But out of it good smoke will comes.
Stay Medicated, Hydrated and Educated.
I really like the genetics on this. The smell is nice from the vegetative state all the way through. I used cold temps to bring out the purple on the flowers and leaves too. It's a very robust and grows quite well.
I haven't gotten the mint in this, my pheno-grow more seems like chocolate biscuit in the current cure, but it's very smooth, rich and couch-locking.
Flowered her for 72 days or so.
Due to moist conditions, there was some mold in some of the prized heads :(((
So in knowing that, i would really have to take care with humidity and water practices in the future.
I wish to get back this seed soon and regrow it.
@Humboldt_Seed_Organisation, I added the harvest for CMOG. Got some mold in some of the main buds :( But otherwise it's a fantastic strain. Do you need beta tester for some seeds?
Those buds look to be in overdrive mode and filling out a treat 👌
Big fat buds dripping in trichomes, what's not to love 🤗
Stay safe until next time 😷
Kind regards ✌️
Team-HSO..

We are watching with interest from Humboldt County 🙏
