Day 1 (Thursday, May 14) - Seeds soaking in tap water. Day 2 (Friday, May 15) - Getting a new grow going as I finish ILGM Northern Lights. Seeds were delivered a couple months ago. They were stored in vacuum sealed bag in fridge. Took them out Wednesday, May 13th, and plopped then into tap water. Thursday I’m considering Day 1. Today I see maaaaybe a bit of tap root emerging but decide to plant. I want roots growing well from start. Fabric pots, 3 are five-gallon and 2 are three-gallon. I lightly sprayed inside of 5-gallon pots with neem oil since they’ve been in my basement a couple of years and it makes me feel better. Soil mixture is ~1/3 Coasts of Maine Stonington Blend + ~1/3 coco coir + ~1/3 perlite. In a mound of Coasts of Maine Seed Starter Blend on top of that, I make a divot and sprinkle in some Mykos inoculate. I took each seed with sterilized tweezers and placed in GH Rapid Rooter. I’d been soaking those 24 hours or so in tap water plus a sprinkle of Recharge plus a smidge of GH cal/mg, micro, grow, and bloom. Since my tap water has a high pH and alkalinity I squirted a drop or two of pH-Down in it. Tore a little corner off to plug hole. Before hole plugged I sprinkled a little Mykos inoculate. The moist-but-not-damp plugs I put in each pot’s divot and edged seed starter around. Labeled pot and stuck in grow tent since I figure it’s warmer in there than in basement outside of tent. I sprinkled a little of water solution used to soak Rapid Rooter plugs and lightly covered with plastic wrap. Fingers crossed! Days 4-7 - Watering by squirting tap water around seedling, getting rooter plug and soil wet, maybe an inch radius. Determined not to over-water this grow so not watering much, just enough to keep that circular area moist.

Day 11 (Sunday, May 24) - Seedlings seem all well-established. I think this was the first day the seedlings were moved from the side of the tent to the center and the first day without plastic covering to ensure higher humidity. Still two plants from the previous grow but they're on the periphery of these 5 and won't be there much longer, maybe a few days. Still just watering by squirting tap water on rooter plug and a bit of the soil around the plug. Day 12 (Monday, May 25) to Day 14 (Wednesday, May 27) - Trying to balance watering often enough and not too often. Still just tap water.

Day 15, Day 17 (Thursday, May 28; Friday, May 30) - Continuing to nurture, hoping for a healthy grow. Still watering with just tap water, I'm guessing about every other day on average. Days 18, 19, 20 (Sunday, May 31; Monday, June 1; Tuesday, June 2) - Tap water when watering. Not keeping track of which days; probably should.

Day 23 (Friday, June 5th) - Looks like I watered today. Still just using tap water from squirt bottle. I'll ask question about when to introduce nutrients and another about when to start LST. See what y'all think.

Starting 4th week from seed. So far just using tap water, not even pH'd (since soil buffers.) Advice about when to introduce very light nutrients? I'm thinking next time I water.

yellow underneath.. go for it.. in future judge by teh little cotyledon leaves.. they start turning yellow, that means the plant is cannibalizing itself.. time to feed. your first serrated blades are yellowing from tip in.. that's likely nitro-def, this early fairly safe to say.

First of all check your water ph. Soil buffers slightly yes, but it cannot if the water is too extreme from one scale to the other. Eg. -5ph or 7.5ph+. She wants nutes badly, you can tell as all her leaves are yellowing, add some grow nutes as soon as possible at 1/2 recommended strength. 🌱👍

Does your soil have any added nutrients in it? or is it an inert soil with no nutrients added? Soil like Fox Farm Ocean forest with added nutrients can last 3-4 weeks before any feeding is needed. If not thou i'd start at a 1/3 str dose of nutes every other watering now. The lighter color of your plant makes me think it's begging for nutrients already so i'd say start next watering like your thinking! Happy growing! 👊

Day 37 (Friday, June 19th) - Definitely into flower. Plant 3 is growing like crazy! I also like how Plant 4 is growing as if it has been topped, which I don't remember doing.

Day 47 (Monday, June 29) - All five plants. Even though it's only the 7th week from seed it looks like it may be time to harvest soon?! I haven't looked at trichomes yet but probably should. Maybe I'll add more pics for this week. Otherwise, Week 8, here we come!
