5-19-20
This round we decided to do a few different strains that should put out some nice flowers with good tastes.
Started seeds in a wet paper towel in sandwich bags. Will go into Root Riot cubes when they pop.
5-21-20
Put them into Root Riot cubes, and have them under a 5500k led bulb.
Will be using an auto feed system with 6" hydro Halos again in 1 or 2 gallon pots, haven't decided on size yet..Using a mix of washed reused and new coco. And they will be fed Jack's Hydro, Calcium Nitrate, and Epsom Salt.
6-5-20
Since I cracked the Bad Dawg and Monkey Bait a few days after the rest, they are a bit smaller, but not by much. I believe they are a bit MG deficit as they are showing fading between veins. Since I reused some old coco I should have buffered it again for longer, I only did about a 8hr soak, probably should have done atleast 24 hrs. I'm going to try and find some bagged coco locally so I don't have to mess with dried bricks anymore.
6-6-20
Will transplant the seedlings tomorrow. Picked up 2 bags of Char Coco and a bag of Brown Pearl Coco. Should be enough for a while and should save me a bunch of time not having to wash and buffer it with and all that.
6-7-20
Transplanted all the seedlings into 1gal pots, with the Char Coco. Hopefully this with fix the MG issue as it's prebuffered. Seems like good coco, only required a quick wash.
6-14-20
Girls have really taken to the bigger pots and looking alot healthier than last week. They are also growing fast, as you can't really even tell that they aren't all the same age. They are being fed @0.8-1.0ec 5.9-6.0pH. They are under the HLG600 dimmed down 250w.
6-18-20
These ladies have really taken off, and growing atleast 1/2 inch a day. Fimmed/topped them all on 6-17. They seem to be a very lightly colored, usually they are alot darker green. I'll have to keep a close on and make sure it doesn't get any worse.
6-20-20
There's a few that seem to need a bit more Magnesium then the rest. Will give them all a foliar with extra MG and see how they respond. Other than that slight issue, they are loving the high heat and humidity.
6-25-20
All the girls are doing well, nothing bad to report. Will be putting the trellis in tomorrow to start their scrog training when they get a bit bigger.
6-26-20
Got the scrog new in. Left - Bad Dawg 1&2, middle - Peanutbutter Gelato 1&2, right Monkey Bait 1&2, and the very bottom 2, 1 Island Mimosa and a Chocolate Kush.
6-30-20
They seem to be doing well. No issues. Some are starting to show their sex, so far a few males, which is to be expected. Will be topping, transplanting, and culling males Friday or Saturday. After that will start training them into the scrog.
7-3-20
Still waiting on a few of the plants to show presex. Both Bad Dawgs I can't tell yet, 1 of the Peanutbutter Gelato is a female I think, the other might be male. Then 1 Monkey Bait is female the other is still in the air. They all need to be up potted really bad, they're starting to get root bound, so I'll transplant all the females plus the suspected fems tomorrow, the rest I'll leave till they show, hopefully by the end of the weekend. I really want to start weaving them into the screen. They are doing good though, look healthy. Also, Im liking this brand of coco so far.
7-6-20
They are doing well. So far got rid of a Bad Dawg and a Monkey Bait. Will leave the rest to see if I sexes right. Transplanted into 2gal fabric bags.
7-13-20
Things are going good so far. Had to get a screen with smaller holes, the one that's there now just isn't going to work, there's just to much extra space with the big squares. When it gets here I'll put them under and tie them down.
7-17-20
So I changed thing around a bit. There's only 4 plants in the 5x5 and 4 in the 4x4. I had to take out 2 from the 5x5 for a few reasons, the scrog doesn't go edge to edge so 6 wouldn't work, the plants are bigger and growing faster than I thought, and didn't want to modify the auto feed system for 6. So I put the Chocolate Kush and a Peanutbutter Gelato in the 4x4 with the moms I have there. I'm going to clone them all, wait till I a good clone of all of them and flip them.
They are all doing well as of now, I did get them all tied to the scrog, so we'll see how that goes.
7-19-20
Have to setup Autofeed to the 4x4 this week, hand watering sucks.
7-20-20
So this week I'll continue to train and tie them down to the scrog as needed, will top and or FIM them again tomorrow, and also trim up the under the net. I planning on flipping them August 1st.
7-23-20
Things are starting to pick back up in regards to growth. Have a busy weekend coming, but I they will probably be flipped by the end of the weekend and clones will be cut also.
7-27-20
The 26th 2as their first day of 12/12. They are looking good and filling out the scrog nicely. Also, I wanted tonight ill take clones of all 4 to have on hand incase I want to keep any
8-1
Scrog is filled out nicely, 2nd net is place waiting for them to grow up to it. They are happy and healthy.
The clones are are doing alright, waiting to show roots, still.
8-3-20
Filling out nicely, still don't know what to do between the two nets, probably will just keep clean the under side of the bottom net till stretch is over.
8-8-20
Things are going well, the ladies are getting their stretch on, the 2 Peanutbutter Gelato more than the Monkey Bait and the Island Mimosa. Will start supercropping as needed in the coming week or so.
8-9-20
Week 2 of flower coming to an end here. Ladies are starting to form bud sets, and continue to stretch. Will continue to do some pruning between the nets cause its getting a bit thick in there.
8-16-20
This week was very busy for me so didn't update till today. They have been doing well and bud sets are forming nicely. They are starting to smell up the tent, and stem rubs are good.
8-21-20
With week 4 of flower coming to an end, these girls are almost out of control, hopefully they are done streching. They are starting to reek of goodness, and look great. No issues to report. Will start supercropping if needed.
8-24-20
Girls are really blowing up now, stacking hard, smelling strong, and starting to show some frost. I think the Bad Dawg is done streching now, finally. The Island Mimosa seems to be the faster flowering one of the bunch, and there's always one. Doing well overall, nice and healthy.
8-29-20
All doing well, both Gelato are looking great, along with the Island Mimosa. The Monkey Bait seems to be taking her time. Smells are getting stronger at the end of week 5.
8-31-20
Starting week 6 of flower, and all is going well with no issues really, other than a few leaves that are getting a bit light stressed from the light being so close to a few tops, but they are dealing with it alright. Should start to see some bulking growth in the coming weeks.
9-8-20
Week 7 of flower is here and the ladies are swelling and putting out the stank, pungent aromas fill the room. The trichs are mostly cloudy on a few, with the exception of the Monkey Bait, which looks like it's got another month before she'll be ready 🤷♂️
9-13-20
We have some smelly and sexy looking ladies coming to the end of week 7. Will be starting their flush tomorrow {9-14}. They are looking like they should be some good smoke, they have some great aromas going on and they're freaking pungent.
9-16-20
We are going on through week 8 here, and still not one amber trich yet on any of these ladies. They are frosty, and their stank is pungent. Will start flushing once their res is empty, and hopefully by then they will develop some color to their trichs.
With the other tent about a week behind, I'm going to have to get creative to harvest most at the same time.
9-24-20
Theae ladiea are going through their flush for about another week, then they'll come down I think. So far they are looking like they did very well on the weight side, their smells are very good and look great. Should turn out to be a good run overall.
Trying to try and let the Monkey Bait go as far as I can, and maybe cut everything else down and just try and let her finish but I don't know if she'll last the 2or3 weeks she looks like she needs to completely ripen, and that's way too long of a flowering period for me to keep around, as I don't have any other strains that are in that range of 10+wks to finish.
9-27-20
Here we are coming to the end of week 9 and all the ladies are coming along very very nicely. The sweet sour funk coming out of the tent is making me very excited to have the coming to the finish line. They have very dense flowers on these strains.
10-4-20 & 10-5-20
Cut down both tents. Took about 6 hours each, to chop and pull most of the fan leaves off to get them hung to start the drying process. Sitting in about 65f and 60-65RH. Need to start the cleaning process and get ready for the next run.
10-24-20
Took them about 7 days to dry enough to get them in jars. Could of went another day or 2 to dry, but I had to get them trimmed and in jars when I did cause it took nearly 16 hours to trim 7 of the 8 plants, the 8th plant(the Monkey Bait) just got stripped and will be a full plant run of bubble hash. They have been curing in jars for a almost 2 weeks and are coming along great. Another 2 weeks of cure and I'll start trying them out. All the jars are between 58-64 RH and are curing nicely.
