Professor Gelato 1st grow

Seed germinated ok I used the normal technique of 30 mins hydrogen peroxide and 20 mins water them straight into the AeroGarden seeder tray. Now have 100% with this method.

The plant went crazy in one week and doubled in size it was much better and quicker then my other glookies but it could be down to position in the AeroGarden.

The gelato has been growing quite well I have transferred her into a small pot to start the vegetable cycle overall she is quite healthy and will be interested to see how big she will get using a 3 1/2 L pot

The Gelato is proving to be the best plant of my recent grows it is quite surprising because it comes from a fairly unknown breeder compared to the rest of the big boys so far pleasantly surprised I’m expecting great things from this plant let’s just wait and see

Another strong week for this gelato plant I have been very impressed with this strain it loves the conditions in my small tent which is contrary to my ghost train Haze which does not like my small tent I think I can leave her in the small tent for least another three weeks

This is still my favourite plant of the bunch I am growing at the moment this fairly unknown and gelato strain has been performing really well from seed she has filled out beautifully and and I think it will be ready for flower very soon I would however like to get a clone of her so I may have to wait for one to two more weeks to do that

Quite a lot of stretching this week she stretched 8 inches which is a lot for vegetation today I will place her in the big tent to start the flowering cycle this is my first gelato so no idea what to expect

The plant flipped into flower ok, the plants are loving the mars hydro light it really is making a difference in the quality of the plants. She is starting to show flowers.

Plant is growing well flowers are also growing and forming well. I will keep the same feeding schedule until I can see more prominent flowers on the plant. So far so good.

Flowers are forming nicely no signs of and kind of gelato look, 1st time I have grown this strain looking forwards to seeing it develop. I am getting the basement renovated so limited to the room to take the photos.

I wonder how it will look and taste?

The buds are swelling quite nicely and are moving into the stage of “when will they be ready for flushing” I am thinking 2 more weeks, but will follow closely.

Flowers are budding beautifully it’s now a question of when and how to flush. Every strain has their own peculiarities in how long you should leave the plant to mature. I am not sure if she needs 1week or 3 weeks will be watching closely.

The plant is now in her last stretch I am seeing cloudy Trichromes and will leave her for one more week until I start the flushing process.

This plant was probably the biggest and the strongest of my recent grows. The buds turned out to be very dense. The smoke a hybrid high not to heavy but pretty good.
