Hilke's Herbs Master Kush & White Diesel

Hey and welcome back to another Hilke’s Herbs diary 🌱 The seeds are from 2017 and one of them did not germinate. I asked Sensi Seeds (= White Label Seeds) already if they will send me a replacement. And the last seed of the 5 seed package will hopefully germinate and replace the one that did not. So this is why there is only a Easy Plug on the photos. Today 3 plants were put into their 1 litre Airpots and another one is hopefully ready to get planted within a few days. I gave them their first shot of nutrients and I am really excited how they will be looking in the next few days. Stay tuned for updates!

Hey guys! It has been a tough week but I did not forget you. I just was so busy! Sensi Seeds answered my request of exchange. They said their guarantee is only for 2 years which is normally ok but it did not really help me with my problem. The seeds are from 2017. Bummer! They offered me a discount of 10% but I did not want to order new seeds at this moment. So I had to find a solution. And I found one: As the third plant of Master Kush did not grow so well (check out the pictures) it also needed to be replaced. Time was running and the other two ladies grew well I thought if it might work out if I use two more Sativa strains. So I put 2 White Diesel seeds into EasyPlugs and they germinated faster than the Master Kush ladies did. No disrespect though! Just something that I experienced. So here we go into another round of 2 Master Kush and 2 White Diesel. Enjoy and stay tuned! 🌱

So this is the beginning of week #3 and I have replaced the crippled plant with a smol White Diesel baby. The White Diesel babies had to germinate first and were put into 1l Airpots. Now I will give them another week to grow some roots. I want to put them into 9l Airpots by the end of next week. And then let them another 2 weeks in veg and then I will put them into flower 🌸 This grow is a mixed grow which I do not recommend at all because of the different plant sizes. But I‘m curious about the outcome in the end and how both strains will develop in the next few weeks. Stay tuned! 🌱

Hey and welcome back to Hilke’s Herbs 🌿 This week I finally repotted them into 9l Airpots. The smaller plants (White Diesel) lost some coco during that action, the bigger ones (Master Kush) had a pretty tough root system and did not lose that much coco during the transplanting process. I used mykorrhiza (Hubey MT-Mix) for the first time and I‘m pretty excited if that will help the plants for a better and faster growing. The plants are healthy and I am pretty excited how they will look next week and how much they will grow. The smallest plant is 8.5cm, the tallest 20cm. But why are the lower leaves brighter than the newer ones? Is this already nitrogen defiency? If you know or have a guess, please gimme a shout/comment! And yes they needed water and they got it right after the transplant. Stay tuned! 🌱

Hey guys! Welcome back to Hilke’s herbs and a strain mix of 2 Master Kush ladies 2 White Diesel ladies. The plants seem to have problems but I have no clue what it is. The oldest leaves start becoming yellow also the middle ones do. The newest leaves are ok. Plus I found out that the leaves are hanging when the light is turned off. Is this normal? So far they are doing okay but I‘m not quite sure to be honest. If you have any advice please let me know! Stay tuned! 🌱

And here is another and the final week of vegetation. The pictures were taken on their last day with 18 hours light per day. As you can see in the pictures the leaves are really getting brighter and brighter. I think it’s not enough nitrogen for the plants. Can somebody say if that’s true or not?! The tallest plant is 40cm the smallest 19cm. The White Diesel ladies became very bushy I thought they would stretch and get as tall as the Master Kushs but this is the difference that one week (+ Another strain) can cause. I put in a grow net now to start scrogging while the plants stretch. Hopefully I didn’t put them too early into flower mode. Stay tuned for the first week of flower!

This is Hilke’s herbs and it’s week 7 the end of the first week of flowering. Ok let‘s say their first week of stretching. I raised the EC to 1.6 and the temperature outside fell down so there was less heat stress than last week. I am putting every part of the plants that grows over net back down under the net. The plan is to get the complete net filled with blossoms. I will cut everything under the net when the stretching is finally over. If I am right this will be around week 4 of flowering. This box is looking so empty right now. I am really wondering if the stretch will fill out all of this empty space. Stay tuned! 🌱

Yo what's up my growmies, welcome back to Hilke's herbs with some new picture updates. Not much going on this week except a lot of defoliation. I want to have all the blossoms above the net so I am trying to get as much light as possible down there to get the plants to their final stretch. The blossoms keep coming nice and slowly and I have to teach myself how to be patient again. But it's always a progress a little hobby next to my full-time job and I wish I could work in the Cannabis industry. Which is not possible at the moment. Back to the plants: I can hardly wait until harvest!

Yep, it's true. We are in week #9 with Hilke's herbs hustling for life. This week the plants got their first shot of Bloombastic. Probably they are already fixed by using it once. It's kinda their drug now haha! I'm excited if the blossoms will be fuller and more dense this time because of this expensive booster. And yes it's week 3 of defoliation and this sadistic part is over now. I'm sorry for you perverted guys out there but it has to stop now! The plants need their strength to grow big fruits, big full dense blossoms and I want them to be really really biiiiiiiig and heavy. :-) I still put long branches under the net because there‘s so much space left. Hey what's up my growmies?! Welcome back to Hilke's herbs and the planned middle of the flowering time. I'm sorry you had to wait another 2 weeks for 2 weeks of the diary. I've been busy quite a lot and now I found the time to create the diary. The plants and buds start to form and they get bigger. The smell is now strong and I'm happy that the filter is working properly. The smallest plant is 46cm, the tallest is 65cm high. Stay tuned - another week is going to be uploaded in the next few minutes. 🌱

And here we go again with another week - #11 - of Hilke's herbs! 2x MK 🌱 🌱 & 2 WD 🌱 🌱 Nothing much happening this week all that happened that the buds got bigger and the smell got even stronger. I can finally smell the different strains - the Master Kush ladies smell a little earthy and the White Diesel ladies have a fruity aroma. I wished you had the chance to smell it on your own. Again I can hardly wait for the harvest. Due to the problems I had in the beginning the crop won't be higher than the last one. But hey - I'm still learning and shit happens. Hey growmies! Welcome back to a really hot week with Hilke’s herbs! The outside weather conditions make growing pretty tough but the plants take it as if it’s their normal surrounding. I wished I could stand the heat like they do! What happened this week? The bio filter in the water tank had some problems and my slow mind did not realize it until today. So I cleaned the bio filter and fixed the mechanics by cleaning it until it worked again. The water in the tank became clearer immediately. I will keep an eye on this bio filter it maybe needs to be replaced. The buds are still growing and becoming denser and bigger. The smell is incredible! Also the stickiness is absolute top notch! I saw that the stems are thinner than in the last grow. I think it’s because of the net - the plants have support and don’t have to hold the whole weight on their own. Can somebody confirm that stems are thinner when using a net? Enjoy the pictures and stay tuned! 🌱

Welcome back to the pre final week of Hilke’s herbs! It‘s getting hot in here, so get your flowers ready! *sing* you may dance to the music in your head! The time to flush the coco has come and I’m flushing with nothing else than pure H2O (water). The leaves are hanging a bit because of the heat. I put a wet towel in front of a fan to cool the air down a bit. Didn’t help that much but a little. They are almost ready to harvest! Stay tuned! 🌱

Hey growmies and welcome back to Hilke’s herbs! This is the last week with nothing else than pure water. The buds still grow a little but the leaves are now getting yellow and they are almost ready to harvest. The stickiness is incredible! Stay tuned for the harvest next week! 🌱

The wet weight made me kinda sad and it’s not good. At least it’s not what I expected! I will use LST again in the next grow and I will talk more to them plants. Hopefully it will be much better next time!

I didn’t use LST in this grow which I will definitely change in the next grow again. Plus more talking to them maybe I will sing for them also.
