Are you saturating the entire pot? right now she would be good with a shot glass or two of water every other day.. Your probably over watering her and stunting her growth.. let her dry out.. you'll know if it's been to long if after she recovers she starts to droop again.. it's better to underwater than over! Happy growing!

gg4 1/2 still looks like it has nutrient burn so flushing this week with straight water :( or maybe light burn? (but none of the others at same height have any yellowing at all?). TND looks stronger than both GG4s as both gg4s have weird leaves going on ;( Keeping humidity 45-55%. Hoping to start LST on the 3 girls by end of the week. any tips and pointers are welcome happy grows! --- after flushing clean water for 2 waterings and lowering the amount in general, GG4 #1 is starting to look normal with better color, yay :D

looking to start LST but my plants don't have much spacing in between nodes height wise, and lots of nodes.. is it too late to try and start or would it be a bad idea due to there not being much room for new branches to then form once tied down? sorry for noob questions!

Hi there! I think as long as you are veggin it's never too late to start LST! Now that you have tied it down those lower branches will shoot up to try to become mains and just keep bending and keep an even canopy to get good results! If you think it is too bushy, you can let her grow some height now and after that remove some branches/lollipop before flowering

Starting to flower earlier than i thought. LST has been started on all 3 and recovered quickly, though I may have messed them up by keeping the stems too low as they don't seem to be growing much in terms of new nodes/bud sites though for some reason.. I'd like to trim/lollipop some of the lower but not quite sure what to do/how to do it or if its the right time. I think some of the lower needs more light to help out... any tips appreciated as always! :) should I lower the light from 28"? i have it higher than suggested as it's a 1000w and I was scared about burning them :X nutrients/clean water (ph'd) alternating

Id like to try topping a new plant to see how it goes, but i'm not sure if its too late for an auto. Mid 3-rd week of the plant with a few sets of leaves, but I don't want to stunt it if its too late. any input y'all? thanks all! learning every day :D

Hi there! I'm doing my first auto grow ATM and I've been told that topping in 3rd week should delay the flowering and it is beneficial for the plant. I tried this and none of the topped plants are pre-flowering but the ones that was not topped arw showing pistils already. So I'd say go ahead and top it!!

Growing alright I guess... I messed up when i did LST and I guess didn't keep tying them down enough when it would have newer growth, the mains on all 3 didn't seem to break apical dominance, and shot up mid 5th week a ton with a bunch of bud sites, leaving the other branches small still with very few bud sites. poor LST looks like i harmed the yield as there was mostly only branches forming on 1 side before it shot back up :( Any advice to try and save.maximize this current crop? should I try LST again next grow? or FIM/topping & scrog? am i just over anxious and impatient on these may fill out nicely (i can dream lol)? it really looks like i harmed the yield compared to other grows with the same autos. I have a feeling this yield is going to be pretty puny based on current sites..

don't water so much.. water until 20% runoff.. then, wait for 1" to dry before watering again -- ferts or not. continue to alternate or every third for your fertilizer.. find a good concentration that works out at that frequency -- trial and error. just give water-only.. don't flood it.. it'll work itself out if you overfed in no time.. Doing the above will keep concentrations in your substrate in check. once you do this fora bit... re-assess .. if it continues to nosedive, it's something else that requires more thought. In general, yellowing from below from tips-in is N-def, but many things cause yellowing and based on your description, sounds like a bit too much water / possibly too much nutes and once that's in line, you may not have a problem at all. pH 6.5-6.8 ish is great for soil, unless your nutes say something else.

2nd.. 1plant (same schedule as other 2 mains has almost yellowing leaves around bud sites and has always seemed to have shown the same color since the first few weeks. what can be causing this? the other 2 plants don't have the same issue and are around the same heights also

Hey Growmie ... It looks like you have an iron deficiency. You can tell from the yellow-colored new growth this is the signature sign of an iron deficiency. Easy fix first make sure the ph is correct and if so give it a Cal-Mag supplement most of them also contain iron. Hopefully, this was helpful and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

Hey Growmie, Yes, this would be nutrient burn, you can tell from the burnt tips. Try giving her pure ph balanced water for about a week or until she perks back up before giving her more nutrients. Hopefully, this was helpful and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time.

i'm not sure what's happening now.. most fan leaves are yellowing including other leaves on 1 plant now and more and more on the other 2. yellowing from ground up. I thought it was n-def but nothing has helped so far after a flush (nute burn...) and starting on slightly boosted nutrients. leaf tips are all burnt now as well, which they werent a few days ago...PH was at 5.8-9 before so i've raised it to 6.4 but still no luck, still getting worse by the hour.. any advice? Tried flushing, boosted nutes a bit for n-def.. but still yellowing more and more, quicker and quicker now. extremely defeating & frustrating when all was well 2 weeks ago and nothing is helping them :( UPDATE: i give up on the 3 plants as nothing has helped and only gotten worse. all 3 are significantly worse than only a few days ago. almost all fan leaves are yellow and drying up/dead by the hour... sugar leaves yellowing as well after flush and started nutes at full str again. pretty sure the pants have no hope now.. I have no idea what to do, everythings only made it worse... 😪 UPDATE 2: noticeably more yellowing on all 3 plants now, 1 extremely light green.. and now all 3 have nutrient burn despite flushing then running normal str nutes. sigh. writing this entire crop as a and starting over I guess.. disappointment level 9000. :| lol. no clue what went so wrong all of a sudden that is continuously progressing. UPDATE 3: unless my ppm meter's beyond uncalibrated i think that may be part of the issue :x trying to up the soil PH also but not sure if i blast with higher water or just stay at new 6.5 water?

if its just one leaf then don't worry. The plant has stopped all contact with that leaf, for whatever reason? you should remove it incase the reason the plant has discarded it was an infection or similar.

The damaged leaves won't get better but this is just due the issues you were having before. It seems your ph is spot on so now you need supply her with nutrients and things should be fine

Hey there i know it gets frustrating and finding solutions are important. But for right now, just calm down and get through this grow. Most plants will have yellowing leaves as the go further into flowering, especially when you remove the "grow" nutrients like you should. Your plants have also had ph fluctuations which can cause problems, the changes up and down. Try just keeping the nutes low and the ph consistent for the rest of this week. Alternate between plain water and then fed water and watch for things getting worse. Lots of damage wont recover, but if you can stay at where your at and not progress further than that's good. 👍

Can't tell if yellowing is still progressing or not so I'll start taking daily pictures, but they seem to be a little better. that said now they have nutrient burn going on. last RO was ph 5.9, 500~ppm (what?! lol half str nutes..), hoping the 6.5 ph'd water brings it up quickly.. :x tnd #2 LST last week and looks to have taken to it well. yay for that at least:| I feel like all 3 older plants were stunted from the issues and harvest will be pretty small. Hopefully they build up a lot of weight before harvest in a few weeks 😬 hopefully no more mistakes :x

flush, full nutrient feed and proper watering for enough runoff seemed to have saved the 2 super yellowing plants :) Both have color back and regaining more. GG4 #1 is stunted from it but at least it made it through! 2 of 3 have nutrient burn but seems to be slowing down with proper watering now. also. Nutrient lockout is no fun, glad I learned my lesson early on even fi it meant small yield the first time. Thanks to everyone who helped figure the issues out and get them sorted out! TND2 LST'd with lots of bud site forming now also, way better than first attempt with the other plants. Cindy 99 Photo started for fun, plan on keeping her veg until next round of autos are up then flip. (hopefully after a successful topping or 2! lol). i'm thinking another 3 weeks + to go on them, haven't really taken a close look. any pointers? :D Considering making next grow coco coir to help improve yields:x

Hey friend Very trippy spotting...any visible pests where the spots are on the bottom? Or anywhere else? A nice gentle bug killer would be to take a spray bottle and fill 3/4 with water and then 1/4 soap...preferably dr Bonner's castile soap. It won't hurt your plant but will demolish any bugs or larvae. One concern was the red stems...any possibilities of a phosphorus deficiency or any ph fluctuations lately? Fortunately your plants are pretty far so i don't see any of this affecting their ability to reach harvest...but still worth solving. ✌️

looks like it's going to be a tiny yield but I guess better than nothing.. Nothing exciting other than flowers flowering going on. small pest issue still eating the leaves due to super humid and 90f+, i did the best i could to keep RH down but it was crazy for a few days. (tiny white caterpillar like .., sprayed light with btk 2x now, hoping it will do the job so I can start a flush next clean watering. worried about harvest if theres an issue with them.:( tried to get a few up-close shots to get an idea when to harvest but not the greatest... Looking like another 2 weeks or so until they get cut I think. thoughts guys? I just wan tto get this one done with being worried about the pests. Huge thanks to everyone who has helped me out with this first grow, despite being small still made it to the end and learned a lot and really excited to start a new one!

Two weeks is an excellent guess. May be closer to ten days. Your trichomes seem to be all maturing at a similar rate. That's fantastic for final potency, just check them daily, because it means the amber ones will start popping up very fast and out of nowhere. Don't miss your window!

Hey, that’s great pics. You are right you got roughly 2/3 weeks to go. The girls are looking great. For drying I always hang dry in a very dark place with good air flow for about 7-10 days and checking daily for dryness. Hope this helps and happy growing
