They had some trouble sprouting out from the rapid rooters. Had to do surgery and rip the footer apart without destroying roots, seems to be goin now but had to put one in a little 6 inch pot and will transplant it asap.
1 was just transplanted and hadn't had a feed above 600 ppm yet so it's lite yellow but didn't really slow her down. 2 has been goin pretty good but more than half the seedlings in this crop struggled to get out of the rapid rooters this time around. Anyone use Rockwool for germination?
The first one is incredible has a ridiculous amount of bud sites and has a shiny oily sheen up close. Smells already like blueberries, the pictures almost look edited but they are not. The camera can't handle the colors with theflash I think I might take some more under the light without flash to give you another look. Unfortunately the second one is showing all the signs of being a foxtailer. Really disappointed if it end up tailing but it smells like its sister strong blueberry. I've always wanted to try this strain cuz I knew it was a bred with D.J. Shorts famous Blueberry. They are both eating Ppms are up to 1160 w 0 Ppm water.
They both stink like blueberries it's awesome. The first one is very unique it's just a big ball of beautiful light purple and orange buds. The second one is gonna be pressed for rosin. Theywill both be chopped next week
The first one is unbelievable all around. Smells strong of blueberries and the colors are awesome especially in person. I lovethe way 1 grew as well very bushy and rapidly. The second one was chopped after a 72 hr dark period and will be used for rosinpress.
So the bigger plant had a better yield than I expected at 104g dry but the 24g the smaller one yielded balance the scales. I would have to grow more of these to give a more accurate review. The aroma and colors are as advertised, strong blueberry scent and solid colors. The bud structure was not great, obviously the little one came out pretty awful all around with the fox tails and the big one is about a 6/10 dense, a little airy and weirdly structured. The smoke was a mellow indica high but not very potent just kind of chills you out and makes you a bit hungry and wanna hit the couch. If your looking for a quick harvest, some good smellin nug and some bag appeal then I would recommend. If your looking for something more consistent, solid in bud structure and potent I would reccomend starting with something else like a stardawg or six shooter.
Definitely indica dominant, easy to grow and quick to finish. I got 2 completely different phenos. Smells strong like berries and has beautiful colors. Not as potent in terms of the thc content as I would have hoped for but that seems to be the downfall of the purp strains they not as potent. Easy to grow for the most part, the only thing is the bud structure and consistently cuz they got the same exact treatment as every other plant under hlg quantum boards.
I bet Fast Buds is glad you represent there strains, as we no alot goes into growing. Even tho we don't grow a thing, we are there caretakers and bro, your baby's are lucky to have a good one!
@Bloodmilkandsky, thank you bro I didn't on these 2 but usually 3rd mode somewhere in week 2 and I'll defoliate from anywhere after the 2nd set of fsn leaves, I cut my fan leaves tips in half during veg in this run and it worked out very well for some reason better than full defoliation but that could be cuz I had co2 supplementation thru the full run this time
Just been admiring some of you're diaries 👍 Nice grows there bro 👊 Was looking at these seeds and a few others ( Blackberry 😋 ) of there's and can't make up my mind !!😤 Want to try a Purple variety me thinks !! Would love to have a spice cupboard like yours 👌😉 Got to wait at least a few weeks before mines done, but it's looking good !!
@Chameleon, thank you brotha if I were you I'd go with the fastberry if you can just cuz it's lineage is said to have DJ Shorts original Blueberry in it which is a classic. They all are nice tho so mine as well try em all👊
@CerebroVerde, Haha its cuz my tent is so packed and I have to grow a bunch of different strains at once so they are all different shapes and sizes it's like a puzzle, I train the plants to fit the space without using a trellis so I can take them out easily. My gram per watt low because I put the actual power of the lamp and it's not divided by all the plants under it but I tey to make it so there no wasted energy from the light.
Your grow is looking great. I'm also growing a Fastbuds plant and using Advanced Nutrients and was hoping you wouldn't mind a question. I started out using 25% strength on the AN feed chart, then bumped it up to 37.% when I notice Nitrogen deficiency and I'm not sure that's enough. What percentage of the AN recommend strength chart do you use on your auto? Thanks!
Thanks so much.
As you've broken it down I went from 4 ml per gallon to 6ml recently. I've got a little calcium deficiency on one plant it seems. Think I'll keep the nutes the same and just add a little Cal-Mag and see how it goes. @Hawkbo,
@2x4grow420, thank you pal I use an sometimes usually at 6 ml per gal for additives and work up to full strength about 7ml/gal for the ph perfect sensi coco around week 4 when roots are fully established. If your plants are established and healthy you should at least go to 5 or 6 ml/gal or have your ppms between 1040-1080 higher if supplementing co2. If your using alot of additives you can and should use less base nutrient I think
