Thelma needed support this week , I didn't top or train these girls just threw em in a pot transplanted 3 time to 5 gal pots and 8 weeks of flowing with first fertilizer at about 6 weeks old I thing they grew nicely, just Florida sulfur tap water and weekly waterings added light 400 watts at about 6 weeks a lil ventilation and added fans at flowering start . I reap rewards in 1 1/2 month after good dry and curing. ...Tell me what y'all think, I just wanna hear your opinion i don't really care what it is cause I'm one proud momma . And I hope my babies do just aswell or better
will be 65 days flowering sunday. im seeing each plant has like one turning leaf or 3 of 4, but amber color in buds is heavy, Lower popcorn buds not so much maybe 40 % or little less. how can i know if they r truly ready ?
@NorCal_Kannabliss , it's a bit humid here and i was thinking of putting them in dark cool dry place for 2 days before harvest is it necessary or does it help in any way ? if i do in waves it wouldnt be in as cool a place but dark and 73 ish 50 % humidity im guessing with dehumidifier but these girls been in 76 F and like 61- to sometimes 75 % humidity flowering , I been scared but in a room with no ac and washer and dryer with fans exhaust 1200 watts led lights but they get warm that size .
Looks very close, like the others said the only way to get it exactly perfect is to look at the trichomes through a magnifying glass x60 or x100.
If you think the top bus are ready you can always harvest them first and continue to feed and grow the underneath until they're ready to flush and harvest. 🌱😁
Hey :-) Look with a microscope 👌If the trichome heads are about 70% milky and 30% clear, you can start with the flush. If the trichomes are about 70% milky and 30% amber, it is a very good time to harvest 👍🙏🏻 but do not pay attention to the leaves of the trichomes on the buds 👍
Leaves are yellowing, Getting my mircroscoop tomorrow to check Trichomes better but im pretty sure they are being harvested Sunday. pics of the process to come in 2 days no nutes in 2 plus weeks
Ok got a good look at the girls today and I def see the Amber trichomes this morning are heavy, still going to try and get the micro shots before harvest cause I want them for the diary . ? Is what are some ideas for the leaf I trim before drying and how to store them freeze?
If you trim when wet, separate the good trim from the worthless trim. Freeze the good trim immediately, if you plan to make bubble hash (water sieved hashish). It definitely improves yield by enough that the eye can notice. Assuming you sieve some worthwhile amount for all that effort as opposed to 1-2 grams. Just let it build up in freezer until you have 100grams or so, and you'll get 20+ grams of bubble hashish. I toss all the fluffy-airy-buds in too, if any.
if cooking with it, i don't think it matters. you are going to soak it in oil and it will go into solution -- much different than a sieve. Store it in a cool dry place and let it dry out like the harvest does. store liek you would bud -- but i wouldn't waste a boveda pack on it or anything. long-term storage, seal and freeze, sure.
So, depends on how you use the trim.
no question but wanted to share i wet trimmed and bought usb cam for phone and couldn't figure its apps out for a day just went with gut and harvested and trimmed wet,took lots of pics in process and yield is not a pound or even a half,lol but it was fun,they made me smarter :)
