Hey everybody! The plants have been coming along. Hindu Kush and GSC that's in flower are showing bits of stress, and Skywalker Ghost Kush is showing signs of overwatering it seems. I've been having to water twice a day just about now, once in the morning once at night. Big Hindu - 2 Cups, GSC - 1.5 cups, Skywalker - 1.5 cups, Lil Hindu - 1 cup. Night: Big Hindu - 1 Cup, GSC, 0.5 Cups, Skywalker (depends on if it needs it (0.5 cups). Since the preflowers of Skywalker Ghost Kush has been showing, I'm slowly transitioning the lighting cycle to flower. Gonna get some colored LED light for the sides of the tent too to promote growth. Right now it's at 16 hours. In a few days, I'll go to 14 hours. Then a week after the light cycle will be 12/12.
Just started using General Hydroponics FloraBloom two days ago as well on the plants! I mixed it (2 tsp) in the gallon of water that had a little of the Big Bloom left in it, and then a full gallon with 3 tsp. I also installed an exhaust fan into the tent so i can recycle some air into and out of the tent. I'm feeling great about the grow, Hindu Kush is just inches away from the light (i'm going to fix this and raise the light after i finish this post!) and has been getting some heat stress. I do anticipate a big yield from this Hindu Kush plant, I'm very excited! Girl Scout Cookies has some spots on it showing up. I just got a pH reader and it says the pH reading is at about 8 or so in the soil of all my plants not sure if it's right or not but for now I'm going to get some pH balancer for the plants. I had to trim some yellowing leaves off of Hindu Kush and trimmed some bigger fan leaves off of the Hindu Kush I'm mainlining. I think I need a bit of advice on how to proceed with that.
I am mainlining an Auto Hindu Kush from Sensi Seeds. I topped and mainlined it effectively, & have trimmed some of the bigger fan leaves. Should I continue to trim some more of the bigger leaves or smaller nodes that aren't really growing to focus the energy on the bigger nodes?
Hello flakeyfood,
Next time continue to trim some more of the bigger leaves and smaller nodes. You seem to have harvested some good looking buds, congratulations!
Good luck with your future projects, I wish you all the best! 👽
