Yes those abominations are my root rounds. MSNL Old Skool regular seeds a mix between Columbian gold a Hawaiian Sativa. I plan on using Coast of Maine soil until my soil is finished cooking. I want to try Dr. MJ's modified mainline in 10 gals.
Gave the plants their second IPM treatment on day 19 beauveria bassiana maxx. I noticed about day 6 that I had something getting some bites,but nothing since the first treatment. They're starting to take off. Next week transplant and begin mainline.
This week brings me up to date with this grow. Beginning the week I transplanted into 1 gals. They've grown well since transplant, so today I topped and started a manifold on all four. I'm in the closet right now as I'm putting new flooring down. I've learned my lesson on IPM from previous screw ups. Tonight is going to be The Amazing Dr. Zymes. Until next week see ya!
Not a lot to tell. I'm continuing to form my mainline. I should be able to do my third and final topping this week. I'll probably start flower week 7or 8. I started the week with 4 plants at 5 weeks old and 2 at 1 week. I now have 2 plants too young to sex, pulled 1 male, I kept 1 male that I like the terps of. I have one female an one that I'm not sure. I'm doing ipm once a week this week was Mammoth bio-control. I have noticed some leaf twisting, I'm not sure if it's genetics or the beginning of a mite problem. I moved the female to a 10 gal bag and the unknown to a 3 gal bag. I added 2 Nirvana's sativa sour diesel female seeds that haven't sprouted yet.
I burnt some leaves by not having enough surfactant with Mammoth bio-control (thyme oil)on the short plant, which still has not shown sex yet. The tall plant in the 10gal. is growing well and stretching like Columbian. My super soil is a little hot I think because I have yellow tips. I think some ph'd water for a couple of weeks will cool it down. I have 2 plants in one gals. one is unknown and the other is old skool. I'm not sure what is wrong with the old skool. Maybe too much water. I'm going to turn all to 12/12 in two weeks 3 at most depending how fast the Sour D grows. I have a male down in the middle that I love the smell of that I wasn't going to transplant but he looks desperate so I'll comply. I think I've rambled long enough thanks too my Tangy grow. This week I supercropped My tall girl. I broke all eight tops outward for two reasons, one because I'm still in veg and she's shooting up. Six inches since the beginning of the week and that's after being supercropped, and two for inner canopy growth.My short fat one is so different from the tall one that it's hard to believe they came from the same pack. Two opposite ends of the genetic I guess? They're ready for flower. My others need more time. Next week I think I'll up pot the rest of them and flip to 12/12 anyway.I pulled the one male and stored the pollen.I was hoping to have my tent back up so I could mainline all of them, but I think I'll just go straight up with the rest as I won't have my tent. I've rattled enough for now,talk later.
This week I transplanted the Sour D to their final pots. I turned all to 12/12 on day 60 of the two Old Skool from seed. I have an Old Skool clone in a plastic pot and a unknown seed plant in a 3 gallon bag,that will be up potted later. I'm not doing plant training on the small ones. Some cal-mag deficiencies on all except the big one. I transplanted later than I should have,so I give them all a dose of cal-mag, until the roots get to the new soil. I have some twisted new growth. The only other times I had this problem was when I had broad or russet mites. Am I being paranoid or could it be again? Any input would be helpful.

I'm down to 4 girls 1 Old Skool,1 unknown and 2 Sour D. Its day 8 of flower for all, I waited as long as I could to go 12/12. The Old Skool plant is 72 days the others are less than a month old. I broke the 8 main stems again she's 40 inches tall and hopefully done stretching. The Old Skool is in a 10 gallon of super soil. She's so big I'm not sure if there will be enough nutes to finish without problems. I also have a male Old Skool that I'm going to harvest the pollen from I love the short phenotypes and it is. I don't plan on training the 3 smaller plants. Until next week that's the walk in closet report 😎✌️
Today is day 15 of flower. My big girl is out of control. I wanted to maintain an even top on her, but have not done a very good job. I haven't done any defoliating except dead leaves this time around, I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not in the health of the plant. So my dilemma is should I super crop again to even up the canopy or is it too late? I think I'm missing something about mainlining. I still have way too many branches that aren't even getting 200 ppf and the top of the plant is getting 900 in some places. The other 3 girls are growing great all in final pots and ready to make buds. Untill next week happy growing!
The week went well lots of growth on all. I think the Old Skool plant is done stretching at 45 inches. She's been showing Cal-Mag deficiency and some general lightning of the leaf color. She's starting to look better already with some Cal-Mag and fish nutes. Today is day 19 of flower for all. I'm just letting the Sour D and the bagseed grow and they are growing well. Update on Old Skool she's still looking a bit deficient. I cut all growth tips below 200 par off on all four plants, seems to be larf anyway. I gave all plants some fish shit, seabird guano,Cal-Mag and recharge. I ordered some bio-thrive organic nutes to help me get through the grow on the Old Skool plant because she's too big for the bag and I started looking deficient as soon as flower started. I took some better and more pics as well
Still chasing nute deficiency on the big girl, she's still growing up a little 4 foot now,and the flowers look great. She's getting a wonderful citrus smell. I think she's going to be ok. The bagseed has a great resin set already and has a very sweet berry smell. She's growing near perfect. My two Sour D plants are growing crazy this is really my first experience with proven genetics and I see the difference in every way. ( Nirvana).
The buds are spongy, but full of white trichomes inner bud is pale green to white. She burns like extract, large white cloudy hits that rip your head off is the norm from this stuff. There's not a lot of terps mostly smooth. So smooth I cant remember smoking any smoother. What terps are there are fuel,earth,and a small fruit taste. She's good for day or night. She starts with a good dizzying thump to the head,and slowly morphs into relaxation in the body.
Her grow cycle was 91 days overall 55 days in flower. Both plants were Bagseeed. A fem Juicy fruit and a male blue cheese. I was hoping for more fruit terps, but got more of the flat ones. Shes more of a haze taste tan anything else. I have more seed hoping to do a pheno hunt for better terps. In the high gained head buzz from the haze and lost some of the blue cheese body buzz She basically grew herself even though my soil ph was 7.4 through the whole cycle. I'm ashamed to admit I didn't check the ph until my other plants looked like shit.
In an crazy move by some standards, I transplanted the Old Skool into a 20 gal in a effort to stop the yellow and dieing fan leaves. It's been 4 days and I'm seeing marked improvement already. The Sour D's are going crazy,and my bagseed speaks for herself. Later fellow growers.
Yeah it's been two weeks. I have good the bad and the ugly. The good the great is the bagseed, I don't think I've had any problems at all. I call her bagseed the truth is she came from bagseed that I crossed. Juicy fruit and blue cheese, she has the juicy fruit structure and a combo of fruit and skunk smells also from the blue cheese which I've been growing for a few years now. Enough about her the sour d's are off the chain growing ,but the bad is a ph imbalance. I'm terrible about checking ph ,but in spite of that that they have the most upside. They must be monsters at two months veg. The ugly is the Old Skool, every leaf on her is yellow, since transplanting her the buds have a whole new coat of flower and are swelling. Should I shwaz her or just let the leaves fall off? Until next week grow stoned!
Harvest the bagseed all trichomes at least cloudy, but not much amber.
I didn't take a wet weight, but the buds are chunky. She's smells odd like haze and a musty fart. My Old Skool lady is steady growing girth in the bud. She gets a growth spurt after each bottom water. She's probably got two weeks left. She smells like citrus strongly. Heavy terps. Sour D, Helllppp! Maybe not too much. She has what i believe is a combo of ph too high over a period of time and calcium deficiency. In spite of that the buds are growing and large. I've changed my ph 7.2 down to 6.4 I don't know if that's high enough ph to cause problems but the leaf damage is significant. Til next week happy growing.
My Old Skool lady is in her final week to ten days. She's thrived even though my growing has been less than stellar. Learning more every day, 50% knowledge 50% crap against a wall.lol. All trichs still clear. She smells of pungent pine and citrus. My Sour D ladies have some ph issues that I've corrected. I think I've always gron with too high of a ph, now that I've been checking it regularly. It was 7.2- 7.5 my well water from lime rock spring. So I'm ph'ing my water at 6.4 now. Im starting to see some new green growth now and the flowers have started growing again too. I didn't do a complete flush I just started watering with correct ph. The flowers look young and full I think they still have three weeks at least, so plenty of time left. I will catch up the bagseed finished stats in a few weeks after cure. Later!
As it is I had to sit down and smoke some. When you first open the jar a strong piney skunk smell hits you,as you break up a bud it's more of pine and citrus. The taste is sweet pine inhale with a hint of citrus on the exhale. I would say night or day, it's a functional buzz, spacey at times mostly happy and upbeat. She seems to have a long lasting buzz as well. I ended with a 1/4 lb. of cured and manicured buds.
Let's tell the truth here. I'm not a great nor an attentive grower. But damn this is good weed! Yeah shit I veged way too long (66)days. I didn't ph my water until a month before she was done,and had to do a late up pot. She finished great though she had no leaves left. I would grow this strain again if for no other reason I love this buzz!
@Inganjawetrust,thanks much the sour I credit to good genetics and I guess the bagseed too even though it's bagseed, its from two tested strains of bagseed.
