Pure Kush - Original Sensible Seeds (Hindu Kush) THC circa 22% Height 80-100cm Flower - 55 days Day 3 (incl. germination) Germination was straightforward with a strong radicle appearing within 48 hours Strong early growth. Plan is to top this photoperiod and to otherwise leave well alone save for routine maintainence. Have had good results with OSS genetics previously and looking forward to seeing how this plant develops.

Two and a half weeks including germination. This is one vigorous and happy plant right out of the traps. Almost 11" of growth in the first two weeks, sturdy stalk development and the promise of huge leaves in due course. Plan is to top her at the 7th node if all is well. Will be interesting to see this plant develop.

Almost end of week 3. What a beast this pheno is. Just seriously effin' happy from day 1. Vigorous growth with over 38cms in 25 days including germination. It has been massively hot here, however, this lady has brushed off heat stress like a champ and looks 'Happy as Larry' She was re-potted from a 1 ltr orchid pot into a 25 ltr airpot using hydrocorn as a base with Bio-Bizz All Mix, (with an extra 10% added perlite) and a half strength mix of Green House Feeding - Bio Grow. This should only require water for the rest of the veg period with the occasional Bio-Enhancer top up (essentially humic acid and high quality kelp derivitives) although I will supplement with Bio Silicon, Fulvic Acid, Cal/Mag as required. I have only filled my pots two-thirds full of soil at this stage as I will be adding a further amount of soil mixed with Green House Seeds - Bio Bloom supplement once we get to flower and I will need the extra 'pot' space. She is nice and healthy and vigorous so I decided to top her at the 7th node. She showed no signs of sulking and was bouncing back within the hour. Some LST lies ahead once we have a little more branching development.

Approaching the end of week 4. Cannot say enough good things about this cultivar: Stucture is superb, not too leafy, great spread of branches Vibrant and vigorous growth from day 1 Easy and effortless training Very little day to day management required Fantastic airflow - mould and mildew will not be a problem unless you live on a mushroom farm! About three more weeks of veg ahead before flipping.

Approaching the end of week 5. Good growth with 6.5 inches over last 7 days. Pure Kush is the most generous of cultivars. Growing effortlessly with vigour and into a natural structure that is both airflow friendly and cola friendly. I have carried out a pre-flower defoliation which was limited to sucker side branching (not the leaves) and anything I decided would not develop into a bud of substance. I also removed a few of the very lowest leaves to generally aid airflow as this girl is sharing a cramped dormitory with three other unruly St. Trinians wildcats. She needs plenty of water now that she has developed and is sucking up at least 1.5 litres a day. No feeding for almost 6 weeks other than H2O and GHFC 'Enhancer' (Humic Acid and Kelp based soil conditioner) every other week and no signs of any deficiencies. This really is as simple as it gets.

Approaching the end of week 6. 5.5 inches growth over the past 7 day which is reasonable. Shaved her legs a little this week and carried out final pre-flower removal of any sucker branches. She has been limited to a single topping due to lack of grow space. Will flip to flower next week.

Approaching the end of week 7 (end of 1st week of flower) From the outset, I only filled my pots 2/3 full of soil. This allowed me to add a further 8-9 litres of soil with two third strength GHF Bio Bloom powder mixed in. I now have full pots and have noticed that the additional soil has added an extra 1 - 1.5 days to my watering cycle as it is retaining moisture much better. Will slightly increase cal/mag as we progress through flower. 5.5 inches growth in the past week and the pre-flower inter-nodal development is nothing short of explosive. Running out of good things to say about this plant!

End of week 2 of flower. Huge 9 inch stretch in the last week. Carried out final defoliation and will only need maintenance defoliation going forward. I will definitely be growing this strain again! Fabulous plant, could throw it in the sea and it would still thrive! Bud-set well under way. This variety has quite a short flower period of 8 weeks and I can see that she is a little further into bud development than the three other cultivars who were put into flower at the same time. Have high hopes for a decent cola or two 👍

Nearly done. About another week or so and she will be ready fro the chop. Heavy dense buds pulling her branches down. Been an absolute pleasure to grow this plant. Another set of good genetics from Original Sensible Seeds

Final week before harvest Buds have put on the frost in the last few days and still continue to swell despite being at the upper limit of her advised flowering period of 45-55 days. She has been the most generous of plants throughout her life cycle and has been an absolute pleasure to grow.
