She is flowering more and more each day and getting bigger than I expected haha. I have had to construct a makeshift "scaffold" around the tent so I can hang the light higher. The leaves are now slightly to big for the tent, so I hope she dosent get much bushier. Lots more pistels, and lots more growth, quite happy. # new tent coming 😁

Lst would work great. Tip make sure you let equally on each side so your not putting pulling strain on the roots! Happy growing!

Can anyone explain why my leaves are pointing inwards and facing up? Is this because its new growth and hasn't fully unravelled? Or should I change something.

that can be a good sign, or a sign your light is too close. Check the next few days how it behaves, careful with leaves curling, that'll just confirm light/heat stress. Looking good!

My leaves are looking strange? Can this be because the leaf hasn't fully unravelled/grown fully yet, or could thus be heat/nutrition. Added 2x pictures to see clearer 😁

That looks like very fast grow to me! Like the leaves don't have time to get bigger and curl, take a look at your new growth, you also have some of the turned to the side leaves, that's monster growth, very nice on my book!

Is my plant looking like she will be flowering soon? I'm not 100% sure... Also, she is getting really bushy, should I just leave her to grow naturally, or can I defoliate some leaves so the new bud sites can get to the light better. There is a fair few underneath that need light

She should start flowering between week 4-5 typically, some may take longer. On a side note, I see some curling on the leaf serrations, could be light/heat stress, I'd check your light distance and maybe move it up 5 inches or so.

Sorry peeps, just a quick question... Is my plant male or female? I'm not 100% sure. It could be to early to tell, but I will attach a few pictures 😊 I'm only mid way through week 4. Thank you

No I wouldn't, she's still stretching. No need to pull them off unless they're blocking flower sites or dying. 👍🌱

I have noticed that there is two flowering sites forming from the same node.. Is this normal? Its hard to tell via the picture but it's definitely happening.. There is two different sites on the plant that this is happening as well.

In my experience I dont like to see the pistol turning from white until the 5th to 6th week in bud. From my experience a little heavy on the nutes starts them turning early. Cheers

I am on day 44 now, could anyone tell me when the best time to start feeding "just water" or (and) flush my plant going of my pictures? Also, do my buds look a little small? This seed has a life cycle of 55-60 days.. All of your help is always appreciated as it will be always

Flowering: 55-60 days That is according to your genetics supplier. Flowering time refers to the amount of time the plants will spend in the flowering stage. It begins when you switch your lights to a 12/12 schedule and ends when the buds are ready to harvest. That said, some breeders begin counting flowering time from the point when flowers begin to form, which can be a bit misleading. In this case, the actual flowering time (as understood by most breeders) would be 2-3 weeks longer. You have a ways to go still. Look to flush about 2 weeks before the 55 days is up.. Grab a 60x Jewelers lighted loop to help with Trichome inspection for the perfect harvest! Happy growing. 👊

Just a quick one, the photo isn't to clear, but I have checked under my jewelers loop, and 60% of the tricombs are cloudy. How long from now do you think she will be ready to harvest? I'm coming up to week 7 from germinating. Thanks peeps 😎

I wouldn't worry, leaves turn yellow once the plant is almost ready to harvest🌱. It can also be nut burn. Reduce the nutes intake. Give the plant ph balanced water. I think ur plant is almost there. Happy harvest🌱!!!!

When leaf serrations are curled and tipped up like that it’s likely to be heat stress, overwatering/root problems or extreme humidity. These leaves are showing signs of heat stress without light stress(burning/spotting) so light might not be too close but don’t rule it out. plant doesn’t look overwatered either and your diary states a RH of 50% so that should be good. Your night temps are up to 23 degrees though which leads me to believe your day temps may be around 28 degrees or more which is to hot unless running C02. If possible increases air intake/extraction and increase air turbulence with another fan and raise or dim lights a little. Just need to manage their environment a little better but it can be difficult if budget doesn’t allow. Hope this helps. Good luck 😉
GaiaGreenGiant
GaiaGreenGiantcommented5 years ago
Changing day and night cycle is a great way to accomplish those goals. Now why didn’t I think of that on the spot. lol. Good thinking! Shouldn’t notice any added stress to plant. A lot of people run veg lights 24/7 and so am I right now. The vegetative stage is when you want to switch over. Just don’t give extra dark period to switch over if planning to continue veg. H@ppy growing 🙂

Bushbanker4commented5 years ago
@GaiaGreenGiant, thank you for explaining that that to me 😁 I have opened another vent and turned the fans up to improve the air circulation. I will also keep an eye out for light burn and things like that. It's hard to regulate the temp because of how small my grow tent is. But there is a few things I can do. Would you recommend I change the day and night cycle this far into its growth? This will lower the temp at night and give her a break. Or will it make her stress out?... Thank you.

I'm only going at this for my first time. I've got AK autos myself. I did a little experiment with them. On one I defoliated a little, only crunchy or blocking leaves and the other plant I left be. I'm starting on week 9 with them and the one I plucked was easier to lst and is sprawling everywhere. The one I didn't is more like a bushy tree. We'll see as time goes.

@Nopeekingpeekurgh, I wish I had a big enough room just for plants, I have ordered a 120x120x200 today. So I shouldn't run Into any more space issues. Will be nice to compare both of our plant throughout the growth.. I'll sure to be following your progress :) happy growing dude 💪

@Bushbanker4, I don't use a tent. I took on the task of turning my large walk-in closet a grow room. 😂 I get the scared part, that's why I tried it only on one.

@GrowGirl419, your plant looks awsome. I'm starting to run out of grow space though, I'm going to do a bit of DIY today and try and expand my space. On my next grow I'm going to be training my plant... Probably should have done it to start with, but I was to scared 😅 what tent do you use?

Hey guys im a new grower and wanted to know if anyone could let me know how in doing (if theres anything wrong about this) i am growing bride cake auto and am on day 24. The plant is very short and bushy at only 5 inches. Its too thick and short to LST so i have been tucking leaves blocking lower bud sights to the best of my ability. Running TWO 600w LED grow lights in a 3×3 tent (have 2 plants both 600w light is 28inches over each plant) ***Im not sure how to share photos on here***

After putting another fan inside the tent, and switching to 18/6 scedual the leaves seem to be showing signs of improvement. Lots more growth and bud sites starting to poke through the canopy (with a bit of help)
