I'm a beginner, with zero experience, just following some basic instructions from the web. I would like to receive some suggestion based on what you can see in the photo. Should I apply defoliation or LST? 250W HPS Light Cooltube (due to high temperature) 16hrs light Humidifier

somethign is causing leaves to droop and a bit floppy at top... is light too intense? did you just water? The leaves look a great color, otherwise... if you recently watered, that would cause what i see and ignore me... if you don't let top ~1" dry, start doing that, as you may be overwatering it. feel weight of pot when 1" of soil is dry. that's a great indicator to water again. if it recently grew into light and started getting a bit soft at top, raise light.. othwerise ignore this part of the suggestion. Week 1 of bloom! ah! okay, this is likely adjusting to new lights... give it a day or two before doing anything. it looks healthy and awesom... after 2-3 days if it still is droopy-dog under your bloom lights, try to eliminate the other 2 suggestions i gave above... pick most likely route after that.

With the spacing between nodes on this girl is just do some lst. I don't see a reason to defoliate her atm. Maybe in a few when I flower. Just bend her over and let her grow! Cheers and happy growing!

oops... the actual question.. you don't have to defoliate that plant. light easily hits it all over the place, which is the only goal.. not to reduce canopy in anway way relative to photons hitting it. just better penetration to lower leaves, which it has... light does't have to hit bud sites.. just leaves to provide ATP (energy) without being trucked around plant inefficiently and resulting in slower rate of growth = smaller nugs. sorry, should remove the other one since it's almost certainly just reacting to new bloom area and acclimating to it.
