Had crazy wind storm's and a tornado warning this week. Been pretty grey. Pulled the baby's inside during the storm, managed to get them out today for some sun.
Gave them a dose of nuits. True leafs are starting to show. Once the head pops will top her.
Did an FIM on one and topped the other. FIM still gained height while the topped bushed out. Stun her height and make the FIM focus on branches, had to top her. Both are doing well.
Girls are doing really well 😊. Picked a really good F1 to reproduce. These are the seeds I made over the winter. Towering over other plants the same age. Some shade's are as large as my hand already. Recovering from the topping and FiM.
2ft already at week 6, crazy. Isolated gens are strong in this one, young grasshopper.
Impressive growth 👌, anyone could be proud of.
Keep growing my 💓.
Gave her a dose of nuits mid week. Have repositioned them on the left side of balcony from the right. Pinched most the tops and took off a few lower shade's. Been having a crazy moth investation here. Been building cocoons in the plants had to remove a bunch of branches / leaves. Killing them best I can, 🐈 cats are helping.
As for height she's around 3ft again after the topping.
Well what can I say after covid scare now getting cannabis plagued by the biblical pests. From moths, catapillers to fungus gnats, to spider mites. Anyone what to bet on the next plague.
Ordered some nematodes. Hopefully will fix the problem. Hate to loose the whole crop.
Make a shake for her with huge ameno acids/carbs. Pinch the tops here and there as needed. Been lollipoping the branches from the stock. Wind storm knocked her over but recovered from it. Letting her naturally stand back up.
Don't like how thin the stocks/branches are developing in this soil, hopefully wind will thicken them up a bit before bud or can see a problem with supporting the branches.
As for growth can see the pre-flower starting to develop. Will be giving me some dense nuggs in few weeks.
Well the worse of the bunch that was hit is these girls. It's kind of my own fault had soil extra damp for the nematodes and when temperature rose in mid 30s it just cooked the the roots. Or used a inscectide soap spray around the same time that could have burned the leaves if was hit with the sun but not sure.
Anyways looks like have some work here. Does look like she's fighting. Going to lay off on any watering see if she will bounce back.
Defolated most of the burnt leaves as don't want her to spend any energy trying to repair them. Worried more about her turning hermi from the stress vs anything else really.
Can see few pre flower forming on the one branch and figure by next week will see them all have it.
Recovering from the over watering and looking good. New leaves are dark and healthy.
Grew a few inches and building her top pre-flower. Picked off few of the dead leaves but most part left her alone to do her own thing.
Been doing really well now that has recovered from the heatwave/over watering. Growing out the pre-flower colas.
Gave her a dose of rezin, micro and p/k.
These plant's are getting raped by the bugs. Can't seem to get them under control , every time think I do I get a worse than ever case. Contacted pest control see if can offer anything. If not gotta destroy the plants.
Buds are forming nicely. Thickening up , developing the colas. Sprayed with soapy water try to keep bugs down. Leafs are dying off like crazy. Still waiting for the dark purples.
Harvested one plant for CBD already need to make tattoo aftercare goo. Wet weight was 56 grams. Don't know the dry as gone into a frezzer until ready to decarb it.
Second plant is doing ok. I'm assuming lack of the afternoon sun on balcony is why not getting any bud growth.
For what she has done the buds don't look that bad. Prob salvage the tops and send rest to making the goo.
Nothing special this week, fed just a liter of water.
