This is my first auto-flower I've grown. I am using all General Hydroponics Nutes at this time. I am growing in Coco with 15% pear-lite. I am watering about an inch around the seedling to encourage the roots to spread out. My goal is to get her to about 12 inches just before her pre-flower stretch. I'd like a finished height of about 3 feet. Growth this week is stronger than my non auto-flower seedlings. Feeding at 250ppm. Starting on day 3 of seedling. Day 1 was memorial day 2020. I am running 24 hour lighting to speed up growth an push the genetic abilities as far as possible. At 3 weeks, I plan on moving her outdoors.

*Week 2 from seed has been EXTREMELY productive. After the first week and a half, the growth exploded. on day 12, the plants widest point from tip to tip is about 8 inches across, and about 4 inches tall. Every 12 hours there is very noticeable growth. Every 24 hours the plant looks completely different. On day 12 the plant has 4 sets of true leaves with the 5th set of true leaves halfway out, and about an inch long. The plant has also grown 6 noticeable side branches off the main stems. The 750 PPM includes about 120 PPM from very heavy tap water. It probably has about 600 true nutrient PPMs. The plants growth is nothing short of explosive. I am wet/ dry cycling the coco instead of keeping the medium soaking wet, feeding 2x a day. I am watering/ feeding once every day or two. Depending on coco conditions. I am watering in a circle about 3 inches around the stem. **DAY 14: SHE IS 4.5 INCHES TALL AND 11.5 INCHES WIDE FROM HER LARGEST LEAVES. LAST 3 DAYS MOST OF THE GROWTH HAS BEEN IN THE LOWER BRANCHING AND SOME VERTICAL GROWTH. VERTICAL GROWTH IS NOT AS MUCH AS I'D LIKE, BUT OVER ALL VERY HAPPY. I feel like this plant is much better, and much further along than other Tangie grows I've seen.

For week 3, I have this week and next week to push as much (vertical) growth as I can. On day 13 I started feeding her about 1100 PPM's. I am debating if I want to train her in any way. I am hoping week 3 will be at least as impressive as week 2 was. On Day 15, I've been feeding heavy nutes for about 3 days now. No Nute burn, continued growth. She's a heavy feeder by nature. Day 15: Today I realized that my pH up to this point has been a 6.8/6.7. I've been using a manual pH tester with the pH drops in the small test tube. I finally was able to calibrate my digital pH meter and find out about the high pH. So I dropped the pH down to 6.1 measured by the digital meter. Maybe this will accelerate the growth. Day 16 I will start feeding her with the reduced pH.+ Preflowers are visible all over the plant. Day 16: She has a massive banana curve on her lower stalk before correcting upwards. I've seen other growers get this pheno. I lost about two inches off her height. Day 16 Note: Today I noticed a few leaves have some small copper spots which have spread from just one or two leaves. It's spread to about 6 leaves. It seems my calcium is too high, and I think my 7pH really pushes this in combination with my very hard well water. I am putting in 1100 PPM in and getting out 550 PPM at about 6.5pH. I am returning to distilled water with a 5.9 pH with a bit less nutes. I'm not going to flush her, but I'm going to run water through with some lower numbers for a few days. She's still growing just fine. However because I have one or two leaves clawing, and a few leaves with calcium excess'es, I want to straighten this out quickly. I do't think this will impact the plant too much, however it's not perfect right now. Day 17: She stand at about 7 inches with the huge curve. She should be closer to 9 inches tall. She seems to have responded extremely well to the pH correction and 450PPM. Last night she had her first night of darkness and certainly climbed higher. Day 19: Started LST on the bottom 6 branches which are the most developed. They are pulled out and gently staked down in order to grow further out and up. They very in size from about 4 inches to 6 inches long. After these nodes the plant stretches several inches (about 4"), and 3 more nodes are fully developed, with more coming out on top. This plant will have a minimum of 7 nodes before flower.

DAY 21 I HAVE HIT MY GOAL OF 12 INCHES TALL BEFORE PREFLOWER Day 21: there are a few bites taken out of a couple of leaves over night. Today added a sulfur spray lightly to the pot, and lightly on the leaves. Day 21/22: Ending week 3 the plant stands 12 inches tall, without including a 2 inch (110* grow out at the bottom of stem). The bottom 6 branches are being low stressed trained to grow outwards, and the bottom branches are 6-8 inches long. Top 5 sets of branching are still developing. Stem is a little thicker than a standard sharpy marker Day 25: Significant growth and she is starting to bulk up. She stands at about 17 inches tall. I'd really like to see her max out at about 3 feet. The stretch is yet to some, but we'll see! I am absolutely blown away by the rapid growth. Calcium deficiency is under control, and bugs have stopped putting holes in my leaves. She's grown about 5 inches in 5 days, plus her early bulking. I believe she has about 16 branches coming off her. Adjusted Training on lower 6 branches. Pre-flowers are starting to appear next to stipules. Just the shape, no hairs coming out of per flowers. *******DAY 26 PREDICTION: I PREDICT SHE WILL FINISH VEG AT ABOUT 24 INCHES, WITH 12 NODES/ 24 TOTAL BRANCHES FROM TOP DOWN, NOT INCLUDING MAIN COLA. SHE SHOULD BE ENTERING PRE-FLOWER IN ABOUT 7 DAYS. I ALSO BELIEVE SHE WILL STRETCH ABOUT 30% AND FINISH AROUND 3 FEET HIGH. ****** Day 28: 24 Inches. Looks like she's getting ready to flower. Tops are starting to turn neon green. Green hairs at the center of multiple sets of brand new undeveloped fan leaves. May call flower on week 5, or half way through. I am utterly shocked at the rapid growth on the summer solstice.

Day 29: She has grown 6 inches in one day on the summer solstice! Lots of branch development! Today her pre flowers are finally showing with white hairs, and the center of all her tops have turned neon green, and a starting to develop young green pistils at the center of the tops. So for me this is the beginning of flower! I really hope to some serious filling out as well as another foot of growth. Very soon I will be adding my favorite two flower boosters to my current nutrient regiment. I will also be continuing with nitrogen until she stops growing vertically. More photos to come!! Day 30: 30 inches tall. 12 nodes. Since a few days ago shes been growing 4-6 inches every 24 hours. Day 31: Added Bud Candy. 2 ml/ L Day 33 She's standing at about 34 inches tall, lower branches are about 16-18 inches long. Main stalk is like a stalk of huge celery! I am impressed with the size of her after a month. All her tops have young green hairs out and soaking up the light. Fan leaves the size of my hand! Her body has started bulking up. But I hope she keeps bulking. Day 35: She must have made another 30 leaves. More bud sites starting to open up. Her stem is like a roll of pennies. Her green early flowers on the tops are starting to turn from green to white hairs. She has 3 nodes bunched up at her main cola, I'd like to see that stretch up a bit. She's a solid 3 feet tall. Daily/ every two day vertical growth seems to have certainly slowed or almost stopped. 98% of the growth is in the side branching and creation of new leaves, bud spots, and what I call "crowns," or the tops on the end of a stem/ Cola. There's really no training going on at this point. If i see something that needs to be addressed like a stem here and there, I will address it.

Day 36 We've really seen her bulk up. I've got 3 or 4 nodes bunched up at the top cola. I'd like to see that stretch a few inches. I'm really hoping for 3 oz out of her. My purple flower fuel is my secret bloom weapon, and its an incredible product. I always see changes right from the first or second dose. After the first day of use, I've noticed all the crown sites and hairs really opened up. I'm hoping to get a soda can main cola. Increased Silicon for increased stem strength for heavy heavy buds. Bottom stem is like a roll of nickels. I'm thinking the growth in height is really done. Day 37: This is probably the best Tangie grow I've ever seen in terms of size and growth in veg. Day 38 10 Giant hand size fan leaves removed to open up light penetration to bud sites. Day 39 New bud sites popped up over night after defoliation, lower down the lateral stalks. Top bud sites tripled in height. Light defoliation today. 5 leaves to increase light to the new bud sites.

Another new week of early flower. Lots of nice bud sites that are starting to fatten a bit. All fan leaves have been removed, as well as smaller leaves at the buds, as they become big enough to pull out from the stem. I'm thinking of taking scissors to the leaves coming off the buds to open the light penetration on the buds. The bulk of her diet is phosphorous, potassium, B vitamins and micro nutes. Nitrogen is sometimes eliminated from the feeding. I'm kind of alternating the nitrogen between 1 m/l per gallon to 0 m/l every other feeding. She's really on cruise control. Her scents are starting to develop. There's a mild "danky" Earthy smell with a hint of honey coming from the buds. Day 48: Added 2 m/L Nitrogen to a Gallon of hard water (regular feeding with N). pH 6.4. Lots and Lots of sepals. I'd like to remove a lot of them, but probably wont due to the absence of the fan leaves. Day 53: Lets start the plump up phase! I posed some nugs that I think are larger at 30 days old compared to a lot of mature buds I see. I can't wait for her to absorb all the vitamins and phosphorus over the next three weeks! For the time being she's just eating her nutes at 6.5 pH 1500 PPM. No signs of issues all, except her buds swelling up and beautiful orange hairs covering everything. Sepals are now starting to turn into sugar leaves.

Hey All, I have been pulling the small leaves out of the buds when they get long enough to pluck from their stem, so I dont damage the buds. In order to open up more light to the actual buds, should I put a pair scissors to these leaves? Or leave tops bushy?

Day 56: Another week! There really isn't anything to add except some photos of the buds starting to plump up nicely! Enjoy, like, and comment! Starting to get frosty on a hot summer day!! Day 57: Halfway though flower I bumped up the Flora Bloom 14 m/L per gallon. I am loading her up with potassium and phosphorus over the next two weeks for maximum bud development. Some of her buds are already thumb size (Day 30 Flower). Day 58: She's getting frosty now! Buds are starting to grow neon green with lots of sparkles!! I had a small bud dry up on the plant so I picked it. And let me say, the Mandarin Orange Terpene's are ABSOLUTELY present and coming out. Feeding her a gallon a day. She's extremely thirsty, and I'm pumping in the bloom nutes baby!

Here we go! Buds are starting to fatten up and are nicely coated in trichomes. Sadly the photos don't do the trichomes justice. Last week I found and destroyed 3 individual (borrowing) caterpillars who latched on to the tops of three buds. I noticed them when I saw some bud tops were dried crispy. I removed the damage parts so hopefully this will force those individual buds to fatten more. I think the bug problem is solved for now. I'm pretty confident I'll get at least 90 cleaned grams off her. Photo 11 has the best actual representation of the frost.

Hey all, does anyone have product advice for borrowing caterpillars? I have had the tops of three buds destroyed by caterpillars boring into them, and draining them dry. By the time i find them it's too late. Any advice on preventative products this far in flower

Buy a product called Caterpillar Killer by "safer brand" its a bacillus product. And just keep checking the plants and kill where you can. It never seems like you can be 100% rid of them.☹️
