Filled 5, 10 litre pots with a layer of stones at the bottom then a mix of compost and perlite for the rest. Watered these all through with water left out for a couple of days. Then soaked 5 root riots in the same water and chucked a seed in each, put these in a space in the middle of each pot. Waiting on some plant pot trays using plates atm. All put under a 600w MH running at 400w and 90cm away so it's just keeping the room warm atm. Oscillating fan on the wall running on low and an extractor fan running through a carbon filter up top. Seeds have been in there for 3 days now can see their little heads poking up 😊 not long now hopefully! 3 of the seedlings are growing nicely now, 2 were upsidedown in their root cubes so opened them up and turned them around. Put a northern lights and cheese auto seed in a couple more root riots and put them in a bowl covered with a plate in there as backups incase the 2 don't recover. The 2 late comers have still yet to show their heads and the 2 new seeds planted decided to be upsidedown as well no idea what I did wrong.. will just have to wait to see which 2 survive 😣 Accidentally let the 2 new seeds dry out and the originals have still not come up so have taken them out and put them in another room incase they wanna come out but think they'll be too far behind 🤔 The 3 are going strong so looks like I'm just gonna be growing 3 this time 🙄 they are now on a 20/4 light schedule at 18 inches. Had a little move about today after gf complained about the walls vibrating I thought it was fine.. so suspended the extractor fan, took the intake fan off for now and just chucked in another desk fan to keep air circulation, vents are drawing in plenty of air so not too worried about that. Temperatures staying in the low 30s constantly but the plants don't seem to give a fuck and are happy 😊 put a little table in there to blow the hot air up so that might help 🤞 Temperature stayed at around 35 degrees which is a bit to hot I reckon so made a little stand for the small fan and chucked that in there, 5 things plugged in now hopefully that cools it down but to be fair the temperature in the house is warm as well so can't draw in much cool air 🤔 Think this is day 7 now since they poked their heads out, not as much growth as I'd of liked but it is 35 degrees in there so can't expect them to grow well in imperfect conditions. They've all got their second set of leaves now so should start growing fast soon as they're grown 🤞 Into second week now will start a new page tomorrow, they're all on biogrow nutrients atm, had to switch to a hps as the heat was way too much, got an led 600w coming Tuesday so will bung that up when it comes and switch back to veg hope they don't get too confused, they are a bit stunted I suspect heat, and the pH is 7 so could do with pH down perhaps 🤔

They're all on 1ml per litre of biogrow, feeding them about 250ml daily of water because of the heat. Swapped out the MH/HPS set-up with a 600w LED so managed to strip out some unnecessary heat from the ballast and took the fan for the bulb out. Going into week 3 now for them, they're on a full mix of biobizz nutrients along with it being pH corrected from 7 which it has been this whole time due to no pH down to now being 6.3 with everything else in there. Left me with a bit of room so had a tidy and sort out in there. Since putting the Mars Hydro 600w LED up this morning the temperature has stayed at 29 degrees which is a win for me haven't been able to get it under 30. This is with the door shut, passive air intakes, a small oscillating fan and an exhaust fan hooked up to a carbon filter. 18 inches from the plants atm and still on 18/6 light schedule.

Do my plants look small for the end of week 2? Have messed around with the lights far too much, switching from MH to HPS then finally to LED because of heat problems.

Try raising light to at least 20-24".. let them grow into it, or reduce if it stretches.. trial and error for that happy zone, but for younger ones they need slightly less than older plants. you're getting near the point where it should be full bore, though. So, just adjust and keep eye on internodal spacing. Too much light may not show major issues but can slow growth while imperceivable to our eyes that something negative is occurring. Seems fine, though.

All 3 are on a full range of biobizz nutrients and pH lowered to 6.3. Each of them look a bit different even though they're all the same strain 🤔 but all look like they're growing well for now. 2 of them are getting pretty tall now while the other 1 is still short with its lower leaves barely skimming the soil. Got a nice smell to them now get a waft of then when you open the door 😊😊

Into their 4th week now, not too sure how it's going as it's my first try. All 3 are at different heights but seems to have the same about of vegetative growth from what I can tell 🤔 one of them does have some deformations like 7 or 8 leaves that are different sizes scattered here and there are some weird patterning on a few of the leaves.. it's the second tallest and looks like it's doing alright so can only wait. Gonna have another week of vegetation then add the nutrients for flowering in and look into how close and long is recommended for the lighting. Ordering a few 500ml squirty bottles to go up to giving them 500ml each instead of trying to guess out 330ml each from a 1l bottle.. Switched them onto a 20/4 light schedule as the leaves seem a bit droopy and the pot still a bit weighty 18 hours after watering with 350ml. Also as they're led lights don't see any harm running them a bit longer, read somewhere it helps maximize vegetative growth whilst giving a small recovery period. Flushed them all through with a litre each as there's not been any run off since germination due to feeding only 350ml so thought it'd be best to get in the habit of giving them 500ml when needed so it gets all the way to the bottom. Think they're gonna start flowering soon lots of sites dotted all over the place. Short one looks like it's struggling to get light to the new spots as it's quite bushy, mutant is struggling with symmetrical leaf growth and some leaves look terrible on it ☹️ the tallest one looks good at least loads of flowering points and good spacing, looks healthy and promising 😊 Came home from work and the lights were still on due to not paying attention when setting up the timer.. mutant plant had white tips all over the place where it's got a tad close to the light so raised it up to 22 inches.

Have moved the light a bit further away and started giving them bloom and top max with their dinner and cut out the fish mix (thank fuck absolutely stank) They seem alright anyway, 1 is going along happily with no problems, 1 is half the size of the other 2 and the last 1 looks like it's got alot of problems but none that I can work out, patterns all over the leaves, dead bits, white tips, odd one sided growth.. not expecting much anyway from that one! Is a bit of a tight squeeze in there now, will take the basket out tomorrow and find something smaller to put the fan on so the back one can move back a bit freeing up some space.. Knocked the fan off the box and straight onto the smallest one.. done the best I could trying to put the branches back in the right place but did lose a branch that had just started preparing it's bud and lost a few leaves here an there.. very upsetting, stupid stupid stupid. Ah well, the others look beasty and it looks like will recover enough to keep it going hopefully. They're growing really fast now bit worried the stems don't look as thick as I'd like but maybe that comes with age.. they're about halfway there now, all I do is feed the 2 big ones at midnight 500ml and the small one every other day as it doesn't drink much 🤔 light is hanging 24 inches from the tallest hopefully it's not too far from the little one 🤞 looking at it now, I definitely wouldn't have been able to fit 5 in there. Getting really tight on space now, just about squeezed in with no overlapping.. have put some tape over the fan so it's not blowing as hard on the left side where it's near enough touching #1

Into week 6 now, flowering is on the way for #1 & #2, however #3 is still very short and bushy so probably gonna take a week longer than the other 2 🤔 Very tight for space in there, think a big tent in the spare room will be a better shout ✊ Giving them 500ml of water every day around midnight after the weight has gone from the pots, #3 isn't drinking much so normally give it 250ml as a top up then split the rest into the other 2. I know you're supposed to water til run off and only when it's dried up a fair amount but it's my first go and I haven't got the space to be trying to water til run off then empty their trays what a fuck about.. We'll see in a few weeks anyway if this has any consequences 😬 Think the smallest one is starting to flower now so shouldn't be too much behind the other 2. Think they're getting a bit stretched now but if I put the light any closer the tips go white at the top 😪 learning many lessons along the way at least.

Going well, they're all very different sizes so don't quite know what to expect, buds look like they're forming nicely so just will have to wait and see. Watering the 2 bigger ones a litre every other day and 500ml the days I don't. The pots are light and tops dry after 24 hours so think that's probably ok 🤞 There's barely any space in there now, not even enough room for the fan to blow mid level without slapping the branches about. Gonna get a small wall mounted fan soon but then again that's not really adjustable.. maybe just a clip on fan taped to the wall 🤔 #3 shorty, has its flowers now at least still a week behind the other 2. #2 stretchy, hasn't got as much flower progression may be light stress as it's alot closer than the other 2, about 18 inches while the other 2 have 24 inches ish.. #1 bushy, has got some really nice frosty flowers all over the shop, have high hopes for that one.

All my plants are bushy and it's a struggle to get them all aligned so all the flowers are in the light. I don't know if some defoliation should/can be done? Or just leave them be and just stick with rotating them daily? Or tie the branches to the main stem? If that's a thing

Hi. So day 21 of flower usually is a cut off zone, if you are before it, its perfect time ! But think twice, are your plants healthy, maybe couple leaves off and tucking , plus small clearing of bottom would serve you better ? If you still positive, that too many buds don't get light or you expect high humidity levels later in flower - do it ! There is plenty articles how , when and what. You can check my 8 sisters diary , week 3 and 6 of flower. Do it before watering, always leave fully formed set of leaves, take off all matured lower. Good luck !

They're all doing well as far as I can tell. I've put a tubular heater in-between the pots that comes on when the lights go off as the temperature drops quick in there. Watering as usual but other than that I only check on them about 15 times a day. I tested the run off water for the first time and was 6.3 pH which is what I put in. Was also the first time I'd even emptied them as they normally just dry up by next feed. There's orange hairs on some of the lower buds now guess they're maturing 🤔 Was looking in to getting a microscope to have a look at the trichomes but tried using my phone camera first which I thought didn't do a bad job 😊 is only a S10 so would imagine the newer phones do an even better job 👍 Have what seems to be a CalMag deficiency in all 3 plants but only just came up in rusty spots from 12am to 6am they just appeared was really pissed off and worried about them all day at work 😪 gave them all a CalMag and 6.5 pH water soak of 500ml each and a 200ml foliar CalMag spray for extra effectiveness haha 🙄 and then gave them their normal feed til run off.. the trays were a bit slimy 🤔 hopefully it sorts itself out and have learnt to just use the CalMag every feed to be sure.

Last night I used some old but clean looking wire to bring branches in to the main stems. This morning there's now little orange rusty spots everywhere. Is a soil grow, 6.3 pH used and same run off with Cal Mag every other feed. Taken the wire of at 6am in anger, was it that? 😡

If you're sure it's not a calmag deficiency, I would say that you probably have critters like thrips. If you're using a booster, P and K toxicity is also probable. Wish I could narrow it down more for you.

Before I go to over the top with the CalMag in a stupid attempt to nurse my plants back to health I just want to know for certain what it is. The leaves are clawing, bronze spots everywhere but the smallest of the 3 doesn't seem to be suffering as much.. what is it?!

Could very well be calmag issues. Adding some more won't hurt. It really looks like N toxicity to me though. Dark green leaves that started to polka dot along with the clawing seems clear to me. Wind burn is another possibility if you have a fan directly on them. Add calmag, cute down any N-heavy nutes, and pull off any direct air currents. You got this, the fun is just starting!

Thank you 8thChevron for your help! Run off readings: pH 6.5 at 26.5c Ppm 245x10 EC 689x10 The fan was directly on them so have put that down to the floor now. Have also just flushed through with a half nute mix that was 6.3ph, 134ec & 549ppm Is there anything else I should do

for nitrogen tox i would add some horticultural MKP (0-52-34) at say 50-150ppms or just potassium sulphate (0-0-53 s17) at half the dose of MKP , start at 50ppm increments into your diluted res. for cal def if soil i'd add some gypsum on top for a soil drench or if hydro add some cal/mag or horticultural calcium nitrate ( 15-0-0 Ca19 ) with magnesium sulphate at half the dose of calcium nitrate, just remember to add the MKP at the same or the pot sulphate at half in ppm as calcium nitrate( or calmag) to bump up the p in th p:n ratio

All of my plants with a case of calcium deficiency this week, mainly the best growing one which is showing it really bad 😪 Have halved the nutrients and feeding them CalMag with their food daily to hopefully stop the calcium deficiency getting any worse.. Nearly there now anyway maybe a few more weeks maximum so will just have to see how it goes and learn some lessons. Think I'll be growing 6 full size photoperiods next time, gonna do some research through the week to pick the soil, coco or maybe hydro. Then probably get another led light if temperature is gonna be an issue in a bigger tent, if not I've got a 600w MH and hps I can use. Thought I'd be alright not watering them everyday and was gonna do every other day but think it may be too late to do this now. She's covered in orange spots even worse than before after not watering for 1 night so can imagine the roots are fucked because of me overwatering them 😪 they've got a week or 2 left so hopefully the best one won't die..

Had a light case of what was believed to be calcium deficiency. Ph, EC and ppm all seemed normal for run off and I've halved my nutes but kept a higher dose of CalMag going. Didn't water them last night now it looks even worse, what should I do and will the end product be ruined?

Hey Growmie, This is definitely a calcium deficiency, that hasn't been corrected. It's seems your on the right track but you might need to flush the plant go back to your regular feeding regiment along with going up on the Cal-Mag should fix the issue. Remember damaged leaves more than likely wont recover. Hopefully I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

They've been having a bit of trouble with calcium deficiency due to me overwatering them and not giving them CalMag every feed but have learnt my lesson for next time and will be getting the bare minimum nutrients from a recommended supplier. Been feeding them half nutrients one feed and pHd water with CalMag the other, and that's taking a day break between watering. Think they've only got this week left now then I'll start flushing with water I think, the one in the corner may need another week or 2 but at least it'll have loads of space to finish up when they're out of there 🙂 Was gonna start flushing this week but they just look so poorly so gonna have 1 more week with nutes every day cause I think they're thirsty bitches which has slowed them down possibly, full nutes, no nutes doesn't seem to be doing me any favours so I'll start flush the 2 that I think are ready next week and the last one a week after 😊😓 Have ordered a microscope to check the trichomes, no idea what to look for but I'm sure I'll see something.. feeding them everyday again as it's been another hot week should've just stuck with a daily feed probably. Will upload some trichome pics soon hopefully 😊

No need to flush, they fatten up the most in the last week unless you wash away the nutes, but its up to you. They look good, when they fatten up more will look even better. Use a soft measuring tape and check measurement now then do so again next week. Or take 1 picture at one distance, then don't move the plant and do the same at the exact same distance next week, and watch for growth. Its easier to notice with 1 week apart photos from the exact same location and aiming at the plant from the same angle.

That's 1 week flush done for 2 of them, starting the late ones flush now as it looks fairly close to being done hopefully by the end of the 2 week flush 🙄 They all look a bit sickly and stunted, definitely chose the wrong soil and pots, even though it does drain it's very compact so think I'll do hydro next time and see how that goes. Chopped a bit off mid week to dry and try, tasted a bit planty but definitely got a taste of what it'll be and got pretty high off it made me happy anyway 😊 Got a microscope through today as well was a bit fiddly but got a few pictures 👍 During their watering this week I noticed loads of little seed looking things floating to the top so checked them out with my microscope and full zoom on my phone and saw what looks to be hundreds of thrips 😓 As I'm planning to harvest all 3 this Sunday, gave them their last feed on Thursday so I'll trim them chop them hang them and maybe burn the pots to kill the thrips for messing with my plants 😂 I've removed loads of fan leaves to get more light on the flowers 🤞 don't expect to get much yield but I've learnt alot from doing this and looking at hundreds of diaries on this wonderful site 😊

Chopped down and trimmed 2 of my plants today at the end of their 2 week flush, will cut down the last plant next week and put my harvest weight up for the 2 plants worth of dried bud. Took about 4 hours to trim the 2 and I'm happy with the results, not sure how much is there but I'd rather weight til it's dry before I weigh it. There was also some strange looking new growth at the base of one of the plants, quite a few shoots with flowers so went through it and got about 30 good looking seeds out of it bit weird in my opinion but fair enough.. gonna carry these with me in a tin and plant them wherever I see a good spot outdoors and see what happens 😋 Hung them up today to dry as I didn't realize they would eventually go flat and take ages to dry if left in the trays 🙄🙄 should be alright now hopefully 🤞 The bud are nice and dry now after 5 days hung up, gonna leave them up another day as I've got some bovida 62 packs coming tomorrow that I'm gonna put in the jars 😊 gonna chop down the rest of the last plant tomorrow as well then hang that up to dry.

Even though this strain didn't grow as well as I'd thought, it's still given me alot of experience and knowledge through the cycle of its life and reading through hundreds of diaries throughout. I fell into the trap of trying to find the best strains highest thc blah blah on websites that obviously had influenced answers and chose a completely random strain. No idea why I chose it but at least now I know what strains I want to grow next by instead looking through all the diaries on here 😊 I'm gonna probably turn my harvest into edibles and thc vape oil because it tastes like eating a handful of dirt 😊
